Garden Creamery is hands down my favorite ice cream shop in the city, maybe even the world. And I absolutely love ice cream. They have Asian-inspired flavors like Japanese iced coffee and genmaicha with the best ingredients and local sources. The ice cream always has the best texture and depth, and are not too sticky or too artificially weet. They have rotating seasonal flavors and lots of nondairy and vegan options. Theres always a line, and their ice cream is *very* popular. Highly recommend.

Garden Creamery is a relatively new addition to San Franciscos ice cream scene, but its already become a favorite of many, including myself.Theres a lot of to love about Garden Creamery: the great owners, friendly staff, the amazing selection of dairy flavors drawn from both the bay area and Hawaii, and the large selection of non-dairy flavors that taste so good, I order them sometimes even though I love my milk and cream. But the real beauty of Garden Creamery is the texture: smooth but just icy enough to not feel cloying, rich but not heavy, and just barely melting as you lick on a hot day. Nobody else compares.

Garden Creamery is hands down the best ice cream ever. It’s super creamy and I haven’t tried a flavor yet that I didn’t love. We make the trip over from the East Bay regularly as every other ice cream shop pales in comparison now! The owners and staff are lovely and make great recommendations of new flavors to try. My favorite is the Pandan Coconut!

This is a famous icecream shop that is not located on the main road, but became popular through word of mouth and reviews. It has many Asian inspired flavours like plum, taro, black sesame, hojicha, etc. You can get a kids scoop for $4, single scoop (with up to 2 flavours) for $5, and a double scoop (with up to 3 flavors). We went today when it was kind of cool outside but there was still a line so I imagine it can get quite busy when the weather is nice.

Yummy ice cream (non-dairy & dairy) and the employees were friendly. There were 7 non-dairy flavors and I tasted most of them and they were all very good, with strong flavors and smooth textures. $4.50 will get you a single (in a cup, not a cone) which is 1-2 scoops (can be 2 different flavors) and this is plenty and seems like a decent deal. They have a small water cooler and a tidy single-stall restroom in the shop. We were there first ones in as it opened at 6pm, but we noticed they had a sign with instructions on which street the line should go down if it got that long... So I guess it gets pretty backed up.

This was a solid spot but not necessarily a spot I would insist on going again (if I was in the area, I would give it another look). The non-diary options seem to taste better than the diary options. Thank You Garden Creamery! I wanted to publicly thank the owners of Garden Creamery for taking good care of my 91 year old father after a terrible fall he had near their business. My father was walking alone. He became disoriented after falling. He fractured his right forearm, fractured 2 fingers in his left hand and had a big gash in his left leg. The owners tended to my father and were able to get in contact with my mother. Our family is so grateful to Erin and Donny. Our faith in humanity has been restored. My dad is in good spirits and is looking forward to going to Garden Creamery for ice cream.

My favorite ice cream shop in SF hands down. They have incredible flavors that is hard to find and satisfy my asian flavor cravings (like white rabbit and kinako). Well balanced and creamy, silky texture. They definitely know how to nail stone fruits and I was surprised to see watermelon on the menu this summer!I love how they support other local businesses as some are purchased locally at farms and farmer markets. That being said, flavors are seasonal so chances of seeing them again are slim. Thursday 7pm have been my weekly alarms to snag a few pints as theyre like a Supreme drop. Makes me not want to move out of SF.Disclaimer: I have an ice cream addiction now.

I dont think Ill ever go to any other ice cream places after trying out Garden Creamery. Its literally all the flavors I would have ever possibly dreamed of in reality! They have so many flavors that I have never saw at any other place. I got the Matcha Gold (Uji Matcha with Toffee), Mango Sticky Rice, and Strawberry Lychee! Im going to say I love every flavor because its the truth! The Matcha was like any other Matcha Ive ever tried it was the REAL DEAL! I love Matcha ice cream and this is the best. It has such a perfect and smooth Matcha taste then the toffee bits adds an extra surprise! The Mango Sticky Rice tasted EXACTLY like Mango Sticky Rice! If you took every dimension of it all from the mangos, the coconut milk, the rice you can literally taste each layer in every lick or bite you take. Thats just how AMAZING IT IS!I tasted the other two flavors before deciding I wanted it. As for the Strawberry Lychee I just got it because its my two favorite fruits put into one! Omg it was so good. You can truly taste the Lychee AND the Strawberry in equal parts. My friend got the Matcha Gold, Ube Buko Pandan, and Caramelized Banana and he enjoyed every flavor as well! They have so many more flavors I wanted to literally get a scoop of each one!Its super cool how for the double scoop you can get 2-3 flavors and for the single you could get 1-2! I absolutely LOVE Garden Creamery. They have unique flavors (dairy and non-dairy), and you can tell they carefully craft their ice cream to highlight the main ingredient(s). Its not sickingly sweet, or overly complicated with loads of ingredients or flavors. They rotate some of their flavors. Parking can be tricky as is on the corner of 20th and Lexington, two small streets. The place is a modest little space, 3 or 4 small tables for sitting, but thats not a deal breaker for me because its all about the ice cream anyways!! It can get packed, but of all the busy times Ive been there they are quick and efficient. Shown in the photo: Ube and Thai tea in the cone, matcha and hojicha in the cup.
