This lighthearted banter and delightful dessert made my night!Definitely coming back N times 😋

Ive never been to this specific spot, but I went to one as a kid in Mountain view when my dad was traveling and working construction in the 90s! The ice cream was delicious, so as an adult I was sad to hear that spot had been long gone. I hope I get to visit this spot soon, so I can feel nostalgic for my childhood again. ☺️

Welcome back to the neighborhood Double Rainbow! You are a great addition to the Castros dining (and post-dining) options. We went today and tasted a new flavor: PB&J. It is amazing! Close your eyes and be transported back to summer lunches with PB&J--thats the flavor.Great staff that delivers friendly service. Take out only. You can sit on a Castro street bench and enjoy the street scene, while enjoying your ice cream.

I am so thrilled to see Double Rainbow return to the Castro, only 2 doors down from their first ever location. When I saw the window display with the words “We’re Coming Home” I knew that the neighborhood was getting not just a piece of our history back, but a merchant who is proud to recognize it

We had the friendliest server walk us through all the chocolate flavors. We enjoyed the peanut butter+chocolate, and an ultra chocolate shake.
