Down from Oregon for Stanford Cancer visit and am in The City couple days. Thought I’d stop into myold SF haunt the Apothecarium and check it out. No customers were in store. Made my stand outside in wind while ID checked. Could have done this inside. Ghetto Attitude. I asked for an infused preroll. Easy enough one would think. Either you have. Or you don’t. But please DO NOT show me a 23 mg THC joint and attempt to charge $20 for it. And certainly don’t call it infused.I see why the place was empty. With Neanderthals working the counter and little Miss Security guard listening in the conversation.Glad I live in southern Oregon. People are mellow product is real. NO NEED TO EVER COME BACK!

The Sour Watermelon gummies were awesome. I realised that they were way too strong (I think 10 mg each of THC).So, I found a nice balance eating 1/3 per night and had great sleep.

Poor customer service nowadays, used be really good back in the day by a male greeter I no longer see here.

Despite some bad reviews this location gets, I’ve never had a bad experience there and I’m a frequent customer. I love that they adhere to strict protocols around Covid guidelines. This may annoy some folks but I’m happy they make it a priority and take it seriously. I’m always met with friendly and courteous staff. If there is a line, it goes pretty fast.They’ve made the process simple and easy. I never feel rushed when asking questions or needing some recommendations. I love the quality of all the products I’ve tried. Their customer service is always on point in my experience.

I stepped one second in front if this stupid shop and the white haired shirt man at the entrance immediately told me not to block the door-please don’t insult your customers

This was on my way back to Marin and I stopped in at 10 am. Everyone was super polite and courteous with good recommendations. I noticed a few bad reviews before I went but figured dispensaries are going after each during the pandemic times cause business is tight. Overall positive experience.

They are the rudest people I have ever met at a cannibals dispensary. I said I wouldnt go back 6 months ago because they were so rude.I found myself on Lombard Street coming back from Marin so I thought I would give them another try. Same problem this time. I cant understand why a pot store would need to be rude when I have so many options. Perhaps they should try using their own product. I will never go back. there are many fine Dispensaries in The City. I suggest you stay away from this one if you have a choice.

Clean, nice socially distant setup for shopping in store, and nice staff! They have an atm onsite or you can use a debit card. Love the selection too

The staff was all very courteous and helpful. They even gave me a birthday discount in addition to the new customer discount they gave me. Will shop again when in town.

UPDATE5 stars for customer service per the new general manager David. He personally gave me a call regarding the below issue and offered a solution that works for all, and will work on improving customer service in the stores. Thank you!I bought 2 Dosist brand disposable pens, one for me, one for a gift last week. Comes with 50 hits. The instructions on the picture. Moderate user 2 hits per hour. I tried one, waited 10 min, didn’t feel it. Another hit, waited and nothing. I hit it 8 more times and nothing. I payed 49 dollars for each. Came to the store, they wont receive the product unless it’s defective. I believe that the product is defective, maybe a bad batch?, it was delivering the hit but there is no cannabis effect. Before coming to the store I contacted Dosist, they said “Our dispensary partner should honor a replacement/refund if you are having battery issues or you’ve purchased the pen within 2 weeks and used less than 25% of the formulation” the apothecarium didn’t honor it, they didnt even want to receive the other one that was unopened. They said the rules are only returns if it’s not working and that it’s my problem if I am not getting the desired effects. Come on! This is a premium dispensary and a premium product, what the hell. Also not very welcoming attitude from the staff. Very disappointing product and dispensary, very expensive, does not keep up with the customer service. My friends and family won’t buy never again in this place. We’ll see what Dosist says about it.

I had an extremely negative experience here. COVID was affecting many businesses, I surely understand and respect the considerations needed; masks always and personal distance of 6 feet etc. I was severely scolded outside of this store by the staff for simply waiting together with my partner as a couple. Me and my partner both decided to leave and we both had a very disappointing experience with The Apothecarium in the marina. Previously we shopped exclusively at The Apothecarium for all related products in SOMA (great experience there), but after this experience we were shaken enough to no longer shop at this establishment anywhere in the city. We both thought it rude and confrontational of the staff managing the line of people outside. Inside the staff are friendly and kind.

I have known the people at The Apothecarium for years and they have never been anything but professional and kind. I was so excited when they opened in the Marina that I sent a much older friend there, knowing she’d be well taken care of and planning to call and ask the shop to look out for her (knowing she was new to cannabis), but I didn’t have time to call before she went. No worries. They treated her like family anyway (of course) not even knowing the relationship. Again—nothing but professional and kind. And the shop is beyond beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.

Friendliest, most knowledgable staff around! These guys really get it. Everyone is so helpful and truly passionate about their work. Theyve curated all the best flowers, concentrates and infused products and created the most comfortable environment Ive experienced as a patient. Plus the place is super swanky! Kind of looks like the reception area of a Ritz Carlton.

Classiest shop in town - dispensary, or otherwise! Real patient consultants who take their time with each and every patient. While you can literally find any Cannabis related product you could possibly imagine here, it’s also the kind of place you’d want to take your mom or grandma and they’d feel comfortable. Attentive and compassionate staff make each visit a simple, efficient, and all around pleasurable experience each and every time. This is the kind of establishment that’s changing people’s idea of what a Cannabis dispensary can be and they’re certainly a WELCOME addition to my neighborhood!

I originally looked this up on Maps just to see what time it closed and was quite shocked to see a number of 1 star and low star reviews. Ive been a customer at Apothecarium Marina for about 1 year, come in quite often. Every single experience has been 5 star. The people at the desk always greet me with a smile, always say welcome back, no matter how busy it is. Sometimes it is busy, so you wait, like a good restaurant its worth it. The budtenders are all helpful, kind, thoughtful, I literally couldnt say a bad word about anyone of the dozens Ive interacted with. Ive seen them help older and/or disabled people with genuine kindness trying to find them the best medicine, it touches my heart to see this. I generally always know what I want and they leave menus out to look at before your name is called. I suggest studying that and narrowing your focus on what you want. If youre that person that takes 20 minutes to decide what you want, well thats your fault not theirs and youre that person that holds the whole line up everywhere you go most likely. Im generally in and out in 5 to 10 minutes max, sometimes 1 minute when its empty.I just got back from there a few minutes ago. After a long stressful week of work they literally made my Friday. Greeted with me smiles and warmth. My budtender (well call her K), remembered my name, helped me out kindly and quickly. I waited about 5 minutes to be called and was out of there within another 5 minutes. The product is always top quality. They offer discounts and credits, Ive never not seen one applied on a receipt as another poster commented. I guess haters are going to hate on everything in this world as it should revolve around them obviously.Apothecarium Marina is a great place with great staff. Bring good energy and a smile and they will return the same. Bring bad energy and negativity and have a bad experience? Thats probably on you.... Careful. If one of the SJW staff starts a political conversation dare not to disagree. An employee, Doug, called a neighborhood group a hate group. I simply conversationally and kindly disagreed and began to enter the club. The employee doubled down and told me to not walk away. I again kindly and conversationally disagreed. He then said Im at work and I understood. The next time in I was told I was banned from the club. True story. Please dont tell me this is a place of compassion & caring. Who’s the ‘hate group’?

Spent $70+ and did not enjoy the product...The pre rolls taste like a bitter cigarette, not like pineapple or weed. Worse, they only buzzed me.Strawberry gummies didnt affect me. I ate 3-4 at a time.Issue #2: There is not enough information on the main menu: Total Quantity, THC%

It was a beautifully decorated and comfortable space. I was given a lot of personal attention from really knowledgeable people to find the products that were right for me. I will definitely go back.

Apothocareless only stands behind their products if you are a member. Purchasing as a guest is risky as they refuse to exchange inoperable cartridges. They wouldnt even test it because I bought it as a guest. Now Im out the cash and my medicine. I have also been in numerous times to find their inventory lacking top shelf medicine. Thanks Apothecarium-Marina, you have given me a reason to get my medicine delivered by someone who cares about their guests as much as their members. I will definitely let my hotel guests know what dispensary not to purchase from.

The place is nice! Staff is helpful as you would expect it. Dont buy prerolls, they are awful. So dens and packed up that you cant smoke it at all and wind just takes everything. Thankfully i got -5$ as new costumer, else the preroll wont be wort it.

The ambiance and staff are excellent, but the place has a small selection, and they are constantly sold out of the premium products. Im fine paying premium prices, but the stuff I have bought from here recently hasnt even been mid-level good.

I used to come here all the time until the old guy with tattoos tried to randomly make it seem I had a fake rolex. I could tell the manager that was there knew he was wrong to do that. The employee didnt apologize afterwards and now refuses to help me out.

3 stars overall - Ordered 4 pre-rolled joints...(-1) for a somewhat limited selection of pre-rolled, heavy sativa or indica selections. Only 5 choices, one was out of stock, and only one of those was above 20% THC (DOC strain @ 21.23%) and...(-1) for freshness. They were 2-3 month old joints, except for the DOC strain. I dont care if its in a somewhat sealed plastic tube. Bud dries and the quality lessens. Rotate the product so you offer the freshest, highest quality for the right price. @ $10-13 a joint, in a recreationally legal state, I think people want the highest quality bud available.The staff, however, was very inviting and kind. Being so close to Christmas, the place was a madhouse but they took care of everyone in a timely manner. I will be back before I leave from my vacation and hope to give some more products a try.

They only had a wax which is near useless because more than half the product was smeared on the lid of the container; very difficult to access. We went several times on our vacation to San Francisco and the staff always took care of us in the best way, also their staff is highly trained, with great customer service.
