Dammmmmn....lets talk about a hidden gem (TO ME)I wish Napa had this spot in town. It would kill the breakfast game! The order machine was beyond impressive and so high tech.Food and Lattes were outstandingly delicious. Definitely coming back and raving about this spot because DAMM, I cant stop thinking of my breakfast this day!!!!!!
It was so good! I had the avocado toast and poached egg. It was so yummy 😋. Then I had the Turmeric drink it was absolutely divine. Just what I needed to warm me up. Its a cute little spot.
Outdoor seating is nice. Acai bowl was average, felt like pre-frozen base.
Toasty is one of my favorite places to get a fast breakfast or brunch delivered. I get the avocado toast with smoked salmon and its super filling and delicious. I love how they really sweat the details with adding a flower on the toast for a delightful garnish, and my favorite thing especially is how they write my name on the paper bag with little hearts on them. It really makes my day. I cant wait to visit Toasty in person when things are safer.
Disappointed to leave this review as it would have been a welcome spot in the neighborhood if executed better.Iced americano had no ice and was lukewarm. Staff was neither helpful nor nice. Avo toast was passable but I could make something better at home. It was plated nicely I suppose.Come here if you want a nice shot for your Instagram story but not much else.
Tl;dr Just make it at home. The food was *fine* but the small flower as garnish on my avo toast was certainly not enough to warrant the price or make up for the unhelpful-bordering-on-aggressive staff which rendered each interaction toxic. Examples: accused of not being the correct customer when my order was called out. When collecting my coffee You’d have thought I asked for caviar when requesting some ice in an otherwise tepid iced americano with no ice to speak of. My recommendation: Head down the block to epicurean trader, buy some better bread, and assemble at home for a quarter of the price.
These yummy toasts are basically toasted open face sandwiches. I enjoyed one with avocado and hummus. I was also able to sit at their bar getting work done with the quiet bustle of the restaurant behind me. Its very small so dont expect to come sit with a large group. There are no indoor tables. There are a couple of small outside tables.
It’s an ok selection, nothing super spectacular about the actual food. Ordered delivery and it was fast, food was packed well to last the trip.
Coffee and food is good however the operations is horrendous. If you ever order coffee on the app for pickup, they dont make it until you get there. When you order there, service here is also slow and staff are not that friendly.
If you like avocados, imagine looking through a window to a beautiful, bright avocado nursery where healthy avocados are snuggled in a warm piece of bread waiting for you to give them a home in your mouth.
I love Toasty! The owner is super nice and friendly! The toasts and bowls are very tasty! 100% recommend going for a quick bite!
Beautiful and delicious food + lovely crew:) You always feel welcomed and whatever you get here is super healthy and well thought out. I especially love the tumeric latte, they make it from scratch and its definitely the best Ive had. Highly recommended!
I love Toasty! I love avo toast and acai bowls and hands down Toasty absolutely takes the crown for the best of the best. I have been ordering delivery of Toasty on Postmates for months now since Covid and their salmon toast, avo smoothie and acai bowls deliver beautifully.
People come here for their incredible instagenic Avo Toast, but I stayed because of the amazing drinks! Their Turmeric and beet latte are a must try, and the coffee is one of the best Ive had in a long time.
Cant be in a hurry but food was very good.
I love this neighborhood gem! Awesome service and friendly staff, most importantly, tasty (And pretty) foods and great coffee! My favorite is their salmon toast and it never disappoints!
Overpriced but excellent food.
Toast was a very nice breakfast experience. I had the eggs Benedict with Lox. Good value. Good food.
Lovely place and delicious avocado toasties.
This place is amazing! The food is fresh and the combos they offer are so good! They literally have the best avocado toast, which is hard with so much competition in the bay area. The salads all sound amazing, I want to try them all. The prices are a little high, but the flavors make it worth it. The staff is always nice and they play good music if youre able to sit inside. Its very tiny, but has a few tables outside as well. They offer merch like cute avocado shirts and tumblers. Their tea and coffee is also delicious. Definitely give Toasty a try. You can order delivery or pick up through different apps.
I went to Toast last Sunday. It was a very pleasant experience. I ordered the Avo Toast with Egg and my roommate ordered the Acai Bowl. We also got Matcha. The service was speedy and the food was good. This is a great place to stop by and have a coffee or a light bite with a friend. Note that it is very small, so I would not go in a large group!
Best, nicest people. Great option for catering too, very great service. I love the veggie toasty! But the acai bowls are also very tasty :)
The Acai is watered down which makes it more icy like a sorbet. It takes away the açaí natural flavor. Businesses often add a sweater like honey to try to make up for it.
Love popping in for the avo toast, rainbow toasty or any of the delicious bowls. I also really like the tumeric latte. Only downside is there is just seating for 4 people inside. As you can see my little one loves it!
I’m three bites in and I’m already giving five stars; great spot! Super cool tablet ordering process, neat-looking space, very friendly and helpful staff, and oh my gosh, my prosciutto and poached egg toast is amazing. Highly recommend!
Good, nothing I couldnt make at home but still nice a treat when out!
Consistently my favorite americano and avocado toast in the city. Everything is always so fresh and so beautiful, and the orchid garnish makes anything insta-worthy. I brave the traffic from South Bay, parking in the city, line at Toasty, and wait for tables to get my fix. There’s literally no where else in the Bay I’d do that for.
Ordered the unicorn, breakfast, and caprese toast. Bread was typical store bought, not fresh :(. Ambiance was a little dirty and old. Price did not reflect quality of food we were paying for but definitely unicorn toast looked pretty.
Excelent place for breakfast, brunching or hanging out. In a nice street in San Francisco, this little place has a small but delicious menu, all based in toasts with different toppings (and bowls too). Really recommended the acai bowls and veggie toasts.
Very rude cashier
The food was good and it worthy. The peeps behind the counter were very loud. So kinda a vibe killer.
Get nutella toast so delicious also the gluten free bread is good. Really delicious. When we were there there was 2 people one was making drinks and some toast for people and the other was only making the toasts and they did it very individually for each piece so it took a little while like 20 minutes for our food to come but worth it. Also the salad it comes from is good.
Really cool small cafe to grab a really good Acai Bowl or some toast
Amazing and super nice workers
Could use more seating and the coffee was pretty meh. The toast was lovely though
Yummy toasts, if you love avocado this is your place! There are different combinations to choose from, I had the Egg toast that was delicious! Plus they have gluten free bread!
Great concept, keeping it simple. Nice little place and tasty food. Even for SF though, this is overpriced for what youre getting.
Really good food and coffee! The downside is thatIt usually takes an extremely long time and the staff has been rude on multiple occasions. Worth it for the food.
The best AvoToasts in the city. They taste as good as they look and they dont charge extra for avocado. The owner is very nice as well and makes sure that all customers get a good product and timely service.
This place was made for Instagram food bloggers. Food looks amazing, but also tastes really good too! I ordered the acai bowl and avocado toast and liked both. The portions were a little small for the price, but it was somewhat expected. There is very limited seating, but most people eat fast enough that tables open up regularly.
Ordering through the kiosk was cool but food is mediocre. Acai is watery and avo toast wasn’t fresh.
I did not like ordering through a kiosk. It didnt guarantee an accurate or quicker order. No decaf coffee option. Hair in the canelope side dish.
Worst coffe ever!!
Awesome toasts & coffee
A few nice avo toast options.
Loved the açaí bowl and hummus toast! Perfect post-yoga breakfast.
Ordered the salmon toast, it looks nothing like the pictures. It had literally two capers on it, onion from like the hard end of the onion, and it was very small. Way overpriced and misleading
So good and very sweet owner!
Toast was barely toasted/warm. Avocado was quite sour. Would not go again.
I think Basik Cafe is better, but the acai bowl is decent. A little over priced for the size and toppings but it was good quality.
Best toast in the city. Had the Eggy Toasty and the Bruschetta Toasty. 10/10
Food was really good service was a little slow.
Overpriced toasts + matcha was too watery and bitter.
Don’t get too excited.this pace barely fits 4 customers. It’s too small. Coffee is ok
Great food! :)
Delicious
The avocado toast and the turmeric iced are delicious. A great way to start the day
I tried this curious place of their sandwiches (looking on the internet). I took the Salmon Toasty and was totally satisfied. The sandwich has a base of creamed avocado, chopped salmon, onions and capers. The restaurant is very small (it has 4 seats indoors and a small table outside) and the variety of drinking is very poor. These last two notes make the vote lower. On the quality of food, they deserve the best.
Im not addicted to extravagant or exotic foods or drinks
