Not pushy. So I felt comfortable navigating my own way. Definitely NOT Guitar Center. My big plus was that he worked with me when I made my choice.

Wow. I know nothing of stringed instruments, but they made it easy for me to purchase the correct strings. My partner of 13 years has never played her old 65-vintage electric guitar for me as she had misplaced the bridge in our cross country move. She found it: I wanted to surprise her with strings and a EZ-winder: and the gentleman at Guitar Solo made the buying process soooo easy. Hopefully she will play a lot now, and we will be back to purchase more strings and stuff as she has fun. Thanks!

A great guitar shop. They specialize in high-end guitars. They have a collection of consignment guitars. Theyve got incredible luthier that will take care of your guitar for you. Many great accessories. In my opinion the best guitar shop in San Francisco.

Sublime customer service. Spent an hour with me playing the instruments and familiarizing me with all of the options. Does not push any products. Helps you make up your mind by educating you. The perfect neighborhood store you can go with your kids and get them to fall in love with music.

This place is awesome. I made a trip out from Sacramento to get some stuff, in hopes of being able to find some music Ive been looking for for a year. Well they didnt have it, but they helped me find out its out of print and Peter actually helped me find it. Super helpful. Also, their products are great.

Lovely environment. Was able to walk in with my guitar and have it repaired in the same day for a reasonable price. Customer service was excellent!

They recently procured a collection of fine steel strings. Theres an awesome sunburst Collins that I want so dont buy it. Spruce top, mahogany b/sides, OO body. Sweet!

Owners are really friendly and will help you pick out a great guitar. They also have a list of local guitar instructors.

Great place to buy or sight-seeing string musical instruments. Nice and kind staff that is ready to help and give advices to the costumers.

Dont let them sell your instruments on consignment. It will take you years to get the money once theyve sold it. I know several people who have done this and they all had to wait a very long time for the money once the guitar was sold.
