Great international shop in SF. You can buy majority of Middle Eastern stuff that are hard to find in the market. Different types of breads, pickles, teas, sweets, dates, tahinis, fresh fruits, and saffron ice cream are just some examples of what you can buy here. Besides Middle Eastern stuff, I also saw some Indian and Mexican items. The prices are reasonable and inexpensive. All in all I recommend to give a try if you missed your home food or you wish to try different tastes.
Great local market. They have lots of middle eastern foods you cant find elsewhere. Definitely worth a peek when youre passing by.
Youll always find something interesting and delicious here!
New to shopping for Med. Foods . People were kind and helpful. I will be back...
Love love this market. It has all the spices I need and the best fresh feta cheese that you will have in you life (at least in US) you can get red pepper paste, harissa, grape leaves, phyllo, dates, olives, pita bread, labne, couscous, freekeh, lentils, falafel, kibbeh, pistachios, currants, barberry, zaatar, aleppo, vanilla. If you have any Mediterranean/Arab/levantine/Israeli recipe you will need this store.
Very cool place carry a lot of selections, so glad we have such a grate grocery store locally
I like this store they have a good selection of groceries.
Great place for authentic middle eastern products.
A smaller wholesale warehouse open to the public. Great staff. Regularly refreshed stock on many items.
Wide variety. Of middle eastern products
I 😘 love this local place for inexpensive spices, middle eastern canned goods like dolmas, pickles etc. Also feta cheese and great hand made sweets like turkish delight, baklava etc.
Good selection of hard to find Arabian, Palestinian and even a few Jewish items. Its small and hard to maneuver, but well stocked. The hookas in the window caught my eye. If you blink, however, you may miss this place.
Cute little market store that makes me feel like home.
I love this grocery store! They really make the most of a relatively small footprint by stocking a great selection of produce and pantry staples. Friendly staff as well.
A well-stocked grocery store specializing in Middle-Eastern goods. Their spice collection is excellent. They have excellent honey and olive oil.
My go to for spices and rare ingredients! Great family that owns it. Always friendly and accommodating!
I needed to find some dried limes for ghorme sabzi and this place was worth the drive! Wonderful selection of tea cups as well
My fave middle eastern grocery stop. Best in the bay area. Has everything I need, and the service is lovely. Family owned goodness.
Great ethnic, read, unavailable middle eastern items e.g. sour cherries and zadaf cane sugar cubes for tea. I couldve easily spent $100 in there not because of the prices but because the items i cant find anywhere else in the mission. Its an intimate place, okay its small and the aisles are elbow room only, but there were only a couple and its child in there at the same time. Please check this place out as Id hate to see it shutter and ultimately close because of the pandemic. its like an oasis in a sea of latinoamerican products and so refreshing. Hookahs hang in the window, as well as chocolate covered matzohs sit on the shelf. Yum.
Middle Eastern Food. Many exotic items.
One of the gems of the neighborhood. Great selection, and the people there are always friendly. Especially love the halva and house made baba ganoush
Small store, but one of the only places I know so far for cucumber yogurt, saffron, balakava, and saffron pistachio ice cream. Friendly staff. I think family owned.
Never come to San Francisco without checking them out!! They have it all.
Love this place. So many delicious things. Super nice people too.
Wonderful grocery store. I get all my fresh grape leaves here to make dolmas. Delicious olives and the freshest pita anywhere.
This place really takes me home. I have been to middle eastern grocery stores around all California and this one by far has the best imports from the middle east ❤❤❤
Amazing selection! Especially love lots of vegan food: various dips, vegan puff pastry, falafel, lavash, olives, spices, pantry staples etc etc
Small, Unorganized store. We bought bread and the guy said they are fresh today. Came home to see pink stuff and green yeast in the bread bag. I am glad I didn’t feed them to my kids. Plus, Prices were more expensive than other Middle Eastern grocery stores. Watch out people keep your eyes open on every item you buy.
Great, comprehensive Middle Eastern grocery.
Great middle eastern selection of spices and other harder to find products:)
Excellent selection of great products at reasonable prices. Friendly and helpful staff. Bulk spices, fresh breads, olives... Big selection of desserts, but dont miss the sweets at the counter, too.
Good prices on a wide variety of middle Eastern speciality items.
Nice little specialty shop for middle eastern goodies. I get hummus, flatbread, & Turkish deserts here.
Great place packed with good things to eat.
I kind of dont want other people to find this place. The table dips alone would be enough for 4 stars! Great service, great food, super casual ambiance. Whether we do takeout or dine in, it doesnt disappoint. The lamb and hummus dish is one of my favorites!
Amazing selection of Turkish, Iranian, Indian & Pakistani food brands, tea & coffee, Yemeni spices, several flavors of Halwa, Fresh flat bread from several different countries and seasonal fruits and vegetables. Fresh olives & pickles. Some region specific glass and cookware. Very kind owners. If they dont have it they can source it for you. One of the best MENA groceries in the Bay Area!
This store has a lot of items packed onto its shelves. It has several different grades of bulghur, a variety of lavosh bread, a couple different Armenian string cheeses, tahn in gallon and half gallon sizes, lahmajun, several flavors of halvah, a variety of pakhlava, lots of spices - really well stocked. I didnt notice a parking lot. We parked at a meter several yards away. Weve been here a few times to get our Armenian groceries.
To my knowledge, this is the best middle eastern market in SF. I dont know them all, Im sure, but its a very good market for all things middle eastern with the exception of fresh meat.
Has all the good stuff. Helpful owner/staff. They have kashk, and spices, and a ton of breads, and olives.
I like the variety of the grocery items and spices. A little pricey
Always a great experience here, owner is very nice and the shop always has a welcoming feel to it.
I love this store! Its small, but theyve made very efficient use of the space. My favorites: great selection of olive oils, tahini, flat beads, olives in bulk, and spices in bulk as well. Come here for all your Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cooking needs!Friendly staff, never too crowded, whats not to like?
Pita, Earl grey, and sumac... And a whole lot more. But those are some things I like to get here. Sure, you can find all that at Safeway, but you dont get the same bang for your buck. Here, you get more sumac, better quality tea, and bread that seems like a person was involved in making it.
Still love it for all the middle eastern foods and other items that are difficult to find in one place elsewhere. Has been incrementally improving in layout and presentation.
First time i went into this place was totally on chance just walking by. My God am i happy i went in! Amazing selection and all top quality. Olive selection that is amazing flavor plus low low prices. Candies candies candies
Amazing selection of middle Eastern ingredients and food. Great for dried fruits, nuts, spices, oils, dips, breads, feta and other cheeses, and things like labne. Staff is super helpful and will explain what things are and how to use it. It also smells amazing when you walk in. LOVE having this place in the neighborhood.
Great selection of groceries from middle east...
This place is run by a young, dedicated 2nd generation shopkeeper, who takes great pride in stocking a diverse array of specialty grocery and cooking products. The atmosphere is friendly and helpful, and when hes there you can count on his knowledge of the products and their utilization. Although the focus is middle Eastern and Mediterranean, east Asia and other regions are also represented here.
Really nice middle east grocery store. You can find lots of interesting delicious products. A must visit place!
Well they have every thingFor middle eastern peopleFood drinks and groceries and the most important thing is the Turkish coffeeFresh and smells fantastic
Spices and aromatics heaven!
How do they get such a vast selection into one store? They are super-friendly and will help you navigate the store and pick the right product. The sweets and pastries alone would put many places to shame. If you are hungry on arrival (which means you havent been to nearby Old Jerusalem, then a visit to the cheese and olive sin the rear is definitely in order.
Genuine unique middle eastern grocery! Wonderful.
Love this place. I find all my Mediterranean and Middle Eastern ingredients here. The family that runs it is very knowledgeable and friendly.
This place is great, brings you a range of exotic food from the east. I go here to purchase Indian spices and paneer, and you will get those besides many others. The main guy who runs the store is easy going and a friendly guy, he will help you out when you want to find something
This is the defacto store to purchase mediterranean ingredients. Tons of middle eastern food and spices.
Amazing store! Found everything Iranian I needed here!
Great inventory
Great place to shop for all your Mediterranean need
Great place for middle eastern grocery shopping. Got everything you ever need. Olive oil. Spices. Baklava. Pita bread.
A great place for Middle Eastern specialties. Nice selection of halva and Turkish delight. Love the olives.
Great specialty shop. Unassuming from the outside. Awesome family very welcoming and fantastic prices!
I went here because I needed some African spices for a dish I was making. Id describe it as the equivalent of a corner store but with a Middle Eastern twist: they have a bunch of quick snacks and drinks you might find anywhere (kombucha, juice, etc) but also cheeses, olives, sauces, and even a bulk spice section. There is no fresh produce or western snack foods, but tons of pita bread choices which can be harder to come across in the Mission. The layout is a bit crowded but its a small space, and the guy who rang me up was busy but I dont mind - he didnt charge me for the small spice pack I got or the plastic bag.
I love all the imported food and they are always very nice with cooking tips.
Great store, great selection, friendly people. Its the only place I know where I can get culinary rose petals, a huge selection of zaatar, and incredible cheeses! Great place!
Incredible selection. Best I found since moving to San Francisco. They have multiple types of Zaater, including REAL Palestinian Zaater. They also have olive oil from the Holy Land, a great selection of middle eastern spices, many rice options, and several types of pita.
Good variety of imported products but price and support could be better
Great selection of middle eastern and mediterranean imports. Very warm-hearted staff. Their Turkish Turkish delights are great.
Its great store, and very nice people who working there, they have everything you looking for especially the food from middle East. Its clean and price very good. I wish more successful.
Best Middle Eastern grocery store in the city. Tons of food stuff from all over. They carry great pita bread; everything else you tried is a lie.
A treasure house of ethnic goods, especially exotic ingredients and spices for your own cooking, but also packaged foods, some household items and more. This place is packed (but well organized) with TONS of fantastic goods. A friend and I spent half an hour in their just giving ourselves a tour. I left being reminded how boring most American foods are and how much I miss hanging out with my bellydance crew, gnoshing on fantastic foods made with things you can only find in this kind of market.
I love their pumpkin seeds here, super delicious! they have a wide selection of middle eastern goods from persia and turkey. theres a lot of little treats and candies as well. Give it a try!
I love buying the fresh mixed nuts. Lots of variety. Also lots of dates, Turkish delight and baklava. Appears to be a family run place with a great mediterranean restaurant next door! Aussies, you can by crunches and Maltesers here!
Good selection of Middle-Eastern foodstuff. Cashier was super friendly.
Amazing Middle Eastern grocery. Theyve got a good selection of tahini.

Excellant store for finding everything middle EASTERN . I especially like there fresh baked savory pastries that are delivered on mondays. Their marinated turnips and their olives in bulk are the bomb. They are very helpful and imfortative especially if you are new to the store.
Good range of spices, my go to place for halloumi
Loved the place, though some of the fruit and vegetables were pricy but love the arabic food and spices there amazing quality and good price.
Nice place to get middle eastern spice and food
Awesome Im Iranian and in sf it the only place you can find Persian stuff awesome thanks
Small store, no nonsense grocery shop. Come here with a shopping list, ask if you cant find what youre looking for. Everything middle eastern is right here: Alleppo pepper, halva, sangak, zataar, shisha... List goes on. #1 middle eastern shop in the City in my opinion.
Great store with lots of products you wont find anywhere else in the area.
Really good selection of stuff, but the employee wasnt up front with me about taking credit cards.
Great place to get good products
Amazing selection of Middle Eastern goods and a friendly staff
Wide selection of authentic Middle Eastern ingredients and products - great zataar!
It’s all right, I guess
Fantastic place to get wondrous ingredients and prepared foods. Great coffee, zataar, lebneh, kibbeh, and even lahmajun(my favorite ).
Great products from Palestine/Israel/holy Land/ middle East, etc.
Good variety of Turkish products and staples such as feta cheese, olives, nuts, etc.
Company overcharged my credit card and sold me expired product.
Fantastic shop with great staff, plenty of Wonderful staples and great house made baba ganoush.
