A perfect place to have a quick grocery. They have it all for you. All of the staff are very helpful and all of the products they sell were all imported and reliable. Their location is ideal for me and there is ample parking most of the time. They have also big fresh fruit and vegetable section which I loved so much. Highly recommended!

So we walked up tha big hill to the cool 😎 corner my wife and me ordered 2 build you on subs .so got mine toasted so did tha wife ..but I got mine loadeead..with more mustard mayo ...just gunna say the owner was so nice and the 2 sandwich s 🥪 so dam good so fresh. Just a great give dam to a sandwich. And a good price for tha city we will be back..

They have many goods, wines, and fresh produce that are very inexpensive. This is a great place to get your clean and healthy eating ingredients. This location is always busy, but you never stand in line for long. Staff are friendly and know their store well. Highly recommended!

Great spot to pick up a quick and delicious deli sandwich or wrap instead of waiting at the overpriced restaurants in the touristy area nearby. They also have fresh fruit available. My daughter just said The Golden Gate sandwich she got was the best sandwich she’s ever had.

Great sandwiches and chill local people.

One of my go-to spots when working at the Wharf. Boars Head meat on the sandwiches. Other goodies in their deli section. Jay or one of the family and friends is always behind the counter and always takes very good care of the customers. Definitely my favorite place in the area for a sandwich. Actually the only place I like to go to for a sandwich in the area. Incidentally the Safeway down the block totally sucks for deli food.

They have homemade hummus that is very good. The hummus is $4.99. Pita bread is .50 cents each. They also have huge sandwiches which remind me of the old fashioned Italian sandwiches from the 70s. They will make the sandwiches with whatever you want on them.Sandwiches are to go only. There is a park one block down the hill. You could eat it on a park bench, or at the beach.The prices are fair and way cheaper than most places at the wharf. Kind service. A great neighborhood shop to find the unexpected item, too.

Steer clear of this place, especially when buying liquor. The prices arent clearly marked and they will charge whatever they think they can get away with. Youd be much better off, have a better selection, and save some money if you walk a couple blocks to Trader Joes.

The Wreck is the best sandwich I have had in a long time. Nothing fancy about the place, its a grocery store that makes amazing sandwiches.Its nice after a busy morning walking SF to grab a sandwich and eat it in the park by the wharf.

After being taken over by new management, Michaelis has started making the best sandwiches around. The new owner, Jay, is super friendly and an expert at handcrafting scrumptious sandwiches. If youre in the area, I highly recommend checking it out!

Great little bodega, but super disappointing not all the staff were wearing masks, and were coming well within 3ft of patrons without masks.

Went in asking for a simple ham, cheese, lettuce wrap with mayo...not toasted. After repeating myself several times I received a ham, avocado, and lettuce wrap with what seems to be kraft singles... I’m allergic to avocado and just wound up throwing it out.

We ate the blta and the Giants sandwich. Scrumptious!! Great selection and affordable!

Cant say enough great things about these guys. Truely great owners and ppl first time to the bay just took my 3 yr old to Ghirardellis and they just closed so walked in to this store by chance and got a ice cream and drinks for the family and surprise no wallet it was gone you know that feeling when realize its gone freak out mode kicks in, they not only helped me look for it These guys went beyond and said dont worry about it you pay me later. You dont find that kind of understanding and kindness anymore. .,,., thank you guys If Im within 50 miles Ill go out if my way to go there
