Iam trying to be fair... hello iam here yes a customer. Thank u
Everything you need to make some dank kimchi and Korean Ramen.
Good selection of Korean/Asian grocery items, side dishes, daily prepared, packaged food items to take out for quick meal like gimbap (Korean sushi), noodles, dumplings, etc. Street parking is often available. Accepts credit cards.
They didnt have the selection of foods as shows on Google, the honey chicken wings is amazing 😋
A quaint little shop for Korean food products. Not the largest selection, but does have a decent range of products that you should find something if youre not too specific about whatever Korean food youre looking for.
Wonderful made-in-house banchan selection
This place is small but it really has lots of good stuff. There are marinated meats and there are other meat options that are use for Korean bbq. There are lots of side dishes too. I recommend this place!
I miss the old friendly owners who used to know their customers and treat all their customers with respect - not just the Asian customers.I was buying some sushi with my kids and the old lady was trying to rush me out rudely. I am literally trying to give your business money and this is how you treat me and my family? It’s really like the stereotypical movie “hurry up and buy” SO RUDE!!For that reason - you get a bad review from me!The sweet older couple who used to own this place sold it a few years ago. They knew how to treat their customers and their prices were so much more reasonable.
Best ready-to-go side dishes from a Korean grocer Ive experienced so far in SF-- especially the Danmuji Muchim.
A small store, but they have so many items to choose from. Always very polite at the check out.
Lo e the food selection but cashier needs to be friendlier
Well stocked & very clean.
Great place to shop they have everything you need for a good home cooked korean meal but they need to control how many people is in the store at a time.. one person working the register n the line was backed up to the meat area if the store...
Good for a quick hit of korean staples. Not as large of selection as groceries in the peninsula or south bay.
A great selection of Korean groceries with helpful staff.
This market has everything you need for a Korean culinary masterpiece, snacks that remind you of childhood and pre-made yumminess.
The quality of service is really poor and we treat our customers with indifference. they are not friendly.
Perfect place to pick up Korean food staples! Fresh and reasonably priced. They have numerous Japanese foodstuffs as well.
Love this place. Yummy food options to go! I especially like their sushi rolls, soup and japchae noodles. I wish they put their inventory online or Uber eats. Buying groceries remotely is important these days.
Tiny space with a large selection. Extensive in-house bonchon and marinated meat options.
Found what we needed to make Tofu Soup. The homemade Kimchi is a must try! Very fresh
They’ve got all the staples and then some, can’t really ask for much more. As a white guy, I’m not sure I can give a reliable opinion.
The Korean food selection is on point and the homemade Kimchi is a must. Also the thin sliced meat is great for hot pot, saves the hassle of doing it yourself!
Nice people & great food! Good selection of Korean groceries too. Convenient location as well.
Mom and pop market with some amazing Korean food. They make a lot of their items in house and they are great for a grab and go. Very affordable for Korean food as well.
Ive been purchasing at this store frequently since 2013, and I must say, its one of the best places in the city. The staffs are friendly and their prices are extremely reasonable; most products are at least a dollar cheaper than Woori, Nijia, or Kukje Market (and trust me, Ive been to all). Absolutely no idea why some reviews say theyre overpriced. Even during the pandemic, I saw that they have barely raised any prices, which makes me love this store even more. People are not crammed inside, and there is no line to get in. Plus, they have BOBA ICE CREAM! :)
Everything was so fresh, tasty and delicious. The kimchi were unbelievably good. Such a nice quick meal!
Been coming here ever since I was a little kid love there Korean chicken that is a must get! There pancakes are very yummy. I also always get their rice cake theyre Japche. Their vegetable Sushi is also great. Love this place.
Great selection of Korean specialty items
Small but good enough selection.
It’s such a great concept to sell banchan by the pound! great for meal prep, which I did.I came after work so they ran out of their pre-packaged meals (gimbap, chicken) so go early if you want to catch that.
Like most Asian grocery, you get better service if the owners recognize you. They dont recognize me, but the shop has all the ingredients a Korean could need.
Very good and few people at 2pm. All banchans are prepackaged.
Nice location. worst service.
First-rate little Korean grocery. Those little rice and vegetable and meat rolls that they sell at the counter are to die for. Just the very best. Thank you
Great mom and pop place to pick up packaged Korean and Asian ingredients. Not a big place but has a good selection of staples including large jars of fresh Kim Chee and a counter of prepared banchan.
Solid k market. Way better than Woori
Poor service. I never again shopping.
Great local Korean selection for us with pretty reasonable prices for San Francisco.
You can pick your own banchan to go!
Like to be able to N shop at specialtiy grorecy at fair price, lots of viriety also.....
Love that you can buy banchans here.
A small grocery store but it will fulfill all your Korean shopping needs from rice to ramen to snacks and kimchee. It carries freshly made small banchan and bites to eat on the go.
Small but have all the essentials • great side dishes & marinated meat
Amazing selection of Korean food and inexpensive lunch/take home items (sushi, and many variations of homeade kimchi.
Soju and kimbap galore
Small but their lunch packed foods are great
The staff wasnt very friendly, but the season beef and chicken is amazing.
They have everything you need at a reasonable price.
Small neighborhood Korean to get your banchan. They have marinated meats and other prepared foods on sale too. I enjoy the kimchi and buy bulk because its one my favorites. They sell many Korean items that you probably wont get at Safeway.
Basic selection and store keepers are not the friendliest. If you know what youre looking for, youll be alright. Much prefer Kuk Je in Daly City for any real needs
I like the kimchi here, so does my friend Julie. The Korean Beef is best in city. It gives my stomach smiles.
The place for Korean foodstuffs. Gracious family owners.
Disgusting kimchi! The sweet older couple who used to own this place sold it a few years ago. They knew how to make kimchi and their prices were so much more reasonable. The new owner is a racist...hes the skinny guy that wears glasses and smokes incessantly. He only treats his Asian customers well. I will never give him my business again! Id rather go to May Wah then deal with that jerk ignoring my business. Besides that, everything is expensive. Gimbap is good but way overpriced. Used to cost $3.00 now cost $5.99.
After coming back from South Korea, I was driven to find the same type of ingredients used to cook classic Korean dishes. This market has a solid selection of various Ramen, kimchi, snacks, soju, and more. The people working there are quiet and keep to themselves, however are extremely helpful when I asked about how to make kimchi pancakes! If youre looking for a quick shop to get Korean food supplies, stop by this place.
All kinds of korean foods, and best yet, they sell melon gum!
This is probably the best Korean grocer in SF. Their house kimchi is outstanding. Plus you can order items like jap chae, chicken, bul gogi, and kim bop in bulk for parties
This cute hole-in-the-wall Korean market is the best. They have all the essentials that you will want or need for a Korean dinner. There is a banchan bar at the back where you can select and pack banchan side dishes, priced by the pound. They also have premarinated meats, as well as pre-packed bibimbap. At the front, they have freshly made snacks and good items, such as Korean Fried Chicken, japchae, kimbap, dukbokki, and spicy tofu soup along other things. Definitely a good place to stop by and highly recommend for Korean ingredients. This is the only Korean market I trust inside the city!
Fresh tteok and take home to cook bulgogi
Fresh food cooked on site and good variety.
Splendid little korean market. Their house kimchi is my favorite store-bought kimchi in the city, and the variety (it covers the entire back wall) is good -- cucumber, daikon, white, the chopped- and whole-cabbage, etc. A pretty good selection of the seasoning staples too - perhaps a dozen different sorts of gochujang & doenjang, lots of different korean soy sauces. Freezer case with lots of fish, decent range of sweet snacks, noodle aisle. They sell pre-marinated meats in korean styles if you feel like home BBQ in a hurry, have a banchan-bar of sides sold by the pound, and their own pre-made specialties wrapped in cellophane if you can only operate a microwave. The proprietress is a little cool, at least if you dont speak korean, but shes always polite and warms up delightfully for repeat customers. My daughter and I make the trip across the city for banchan, kimchi and sauces about once a month, and she always has warm smiles and sometimes some free extras for us.
