A village market with an excellent view

Depending on your personality you will either enjoy or dislike this spot. Its got an assortment of semi random offerings that I actually enjoy, so I tend to always pop in when Im here, but I have been with folks who didnt like it because it seemed too disjointed and their merchandise is very random. So just know what youre getting into, but I like it and have found some great beers in here, so if nothing else, check it out for the beer selection.

Excellent hard to find ginger beer and other food items

Love the market. Went today around 3:45pm and was greeted by gangsta rap on the speakers. Rapper was talking about putting his D in a womans A - I told the child at the register he should change that as it doesnt appeal to the culture of the place. He laughed and ignored me. The lyrics were disgusting. I suggested Armik, Gypsy Kings.. anything else. Utterly unprofessional.

First time seeing this place and having a great experience too. Of you have never been to san Francisco you should vist all 6he peirs its very nice views.

Nice change of pace compared to Union Square

Selection of local items as well as imported goods from Europe. Some of the latter goods were noticeably past their best by date and tasted stale.

I most definitely will not return to this store. I found at least three items that were expired. The products are also overpriced.

Only place where Ive found ale 8 (Ale 81) on the west coast
