It was really fun the gift shop first because it is like a jail 2nd because all the prison stuff they have and last for the view

Its nice that they have a gift shop on main land for the people that arent able to go to Alcatraz. This shop was on the second floor. The workers were nice. I bought a snow globe for only $13.

Out of the million suvenier shops there are at Peir 39 my son only loves this one. I can see why. Lots to look at and customer service is great.

Everything here is striped black and white! A bit pricey as well! I paid $40 for a t-shirt and hat!

Mostly striped clothing. They didnt have any Alcatraz stickers but hey had some American flag or San Fran that you could get at any other store there.

The staff was very rude and followed people around like they were shoplifters

I love all the touristy merchandise they sell here, and bought my favorite mug from here too! I recommend checking it out if you like Alcatraz or if you need some tourist gifts to bring back to your friends!

They have everything Alcatraz, from T-shirts with great pictures and sayings from Alcatrazs storied past, to playing cards that teach prison slang in between hands of poker. Striped pyjamas for the kids are a hoot. If only they sold the ball-and-chain to complement it.

Nice shop. Prices are what you would expect for a tourist shop. Theres cheaper places about 4 blocks from the pier. Its nice to browse.

Its a nice gift shop just a lot of the same things across the board there. Some things are reasonably priced for a gift shop but others overpriced.

History of it is amazing! Half of the audio didnt work in my group of 7. Tickets are expensive so Im not sure why they didnt spend money on the tour people with mics. if they fix this it would be worth every penny!

Great selection of Alcatraz themed novelties. Probably over priced but you would expect this from such an historic place.On the day we visited they had an ex guard, 92 years old, singing copies of his book which was an added bonus.

David was amazing today! It was my first time using Fanciful and he was able to help me choose a perfect Thank You gift basket within my budget as well as have it wrapped in a way to make it look like I did it;) will definitely be back so so happy with how my experience went ~*

Lives up to its name has everything alcatraz in it so much fun we bought quite a few souvenirs but if I ever go back I will pick up the metal plates and cup that the prisoners used to eat and drink with lol great gag gift a great tourist stop.

A lot of cute stuff but extremely crowded and no AC and unfortunately I was there during really high temperatures. But really cute stuff

What a location, difficult to review on paper. If you are in San Francisco I would highly recommend a trip.

Awful welcome. They all do to make you pay in cash: ID required before you can use a bank card. It really smacks of scheming. In short, a very unpleasant experience.

I loved this place, incredible the amount of merchandise related to the Alcatraz prison. I bought some things there like a prisoner crab, a reclining bear teddy, among other curiosities. The attention is fast and very courteous on the part of the employees.

I don’t quite understand why everyone is so crazy about Alcatraz. When I came here, from the striped striped symbolism, the beginning was already rippling in my eyes. And to all this, the price tag for a dollar or two is higher than the rest.
