Kudos go to the installer who provided me with exceptional customer service through his attention to detail, his design recommendations and focus on my wishes. The were easy to work with, I like the product and everything went smoothly, and as expected.

A quick and efficient installation. Our office needed to create space and this was the perfect door and divider for our meeting room. Its only been a week but we have already received many compliments on the new doors.

I love my new white-board closet doors! They bring professionalism, calm, and creativity to my home office (where Ill be for a while--thanks Covid19). The install was efficient, and accommodated my slightly crooked 110 year old house fantastically.

My wife and I met with Sakura in San Francisco showroom and she showed us the options and decided to choose one style over another. 8 weeks or so later the installation was scheduled and the team did a great job installing it efficiently and with skill. We chose a double sliding door to cover a oddly shaped closet under the stair with washer/dryer. Our washer/dryer is now hidden and quiet and we have beautiful doors in our space. Couldnt be happier!

Buyer beware - this is not a company that honors its warranty. I had a 3 panel sliding door system installed by them. One of the panels turned out to have marks on the glass that their technician was unable to remove. Moreover, his effort to remove the marks left even more permanent marks on the glass. Additionally, the cleaner he gave me to keep the glass panels clean, caused additional marks on adjacent glass panels that had no marks before. I brought this up with their Customer Service and they have evaded me for months, and totally given me the runaround. Its clear they have no intention of honoring their warranty or doing anything about the defective panels. At this point, I am left with no choice but to take it to small claims court.

SDC was a pleasure to work with. Our company ordered some custom doors for a hallway/closet area that needed to be covered and the final product looks clean, crisp and professional. So far, theyve been a dream to use and we havent experienced any issues. They offered great customer service, were always quick to respond, and the doors themselves turned out beautiful. Very satisfied!

Wonderful experience working with these folks, from Kristina in the showroom helping us with the design, to the conscientious Lily in scheduling, to the guy who came out to do the meticulous measurements, and Dimitri and Earl who did the final installation, everything was top notch! There was even a very trick measurement that required coordination between TSDC and California Closets, which worked out perfectly. The doors show a very high quality degree of workmanship. I would highly recommend this group if you are considering upgrading/replacing sliding doors.

I had a great experience with The Sliding Door Co. Not many places offer sliding interior doors, especially ones that are modern and look great. More importantly, the customer service was outstanding. Josie walked us through all of our options and then gave us some time to go home and think about which doors (they have lots of options!) worked best. We then were able to finalize the order all by email and Docusign. Josie was responsive the whole time and it was great knowing I could give her a call or shoot her an email and shed get right back to me. She also went above and beyond in trying to solve some potential issues we had with the installation. Highly recommend her and the doors at The Sliding Door Co.!

We bought the doors ten years ago and are still super happy with the look and the quality. They still look like new !!!! And are so modern looking.When I needed replacement parts (we have cats and some hair got caught in the wheels), Eric Redmann was super helpful, professional, courteous and very fast is fixing the issue to my outmost satisfaction ! I can only recommend this company and their closets.

Ive had a long lead project with Sliding Door for my residential loft. Its taken me a while to bring the project from concept to conclusion. (The lag time is entirely my own, not the companys.) Josie Adele in the SF Showroom has been on it all the way. Patient, responsive, accommodating, helpful, highly professional. We have had 3 projects with TSDC in two cities (Denver and San Francisco) over the past 3 years with combined final outlays of of over $10,000 for the projects. We feel that the door is a higher-end custom product, and we are accepting of some of the inevitable hassles which come with such a product and its company. Our first project from 2015 in Denver still looks new and works beautifully, and we trust that the doors will look and work splendidly for our lifetime.We have not had any complications with the sales team, though I agree with others that the lead time for the projects seems excessively long.On all three projects we have had a pleasant, punctual, and respectful fellow come out for the measurement phase. On all three projects we have had pleasant and respectful fellows come out on installation day. I would agree with other complaints that communications between schedulers and clients has been suboptimal and must be improved by TSDC if they wish to improve their overall scores.I do wish to give special commendation to Riccardo and Alex, however, who installed the doors in our SF apartment last month. Our building on Nob Hill is especially stringent with all contractors and movers, so all of my projects entail a fair bit of emotional stress with logistics and clean-up. Riccardo and Alex arrived promptly, without the usual parking dramatics which installers and delivery personnel usually evoke on Nob Hill. They carefully and swiftly portaged the product up the service elevator without any damage to the common areas. The installation was swift, efficient, and expert. They both were highly respectful of the carpeted floors and exceedingly careful and clean with their work. The fact that they both were a delight to chat with only made the day even more enjoyable. They cleaned up after themselves and appropriately recycled the cardboard shipping containers. They are two very professional, successful gentlemen who deserve high accolades.Cheers!

Excellent fine dine place in downtown sf. The view of the bay bridge qnd open skyline drom the place is awesome. Too many people com to this place so making a reservation in advance is highly recommended

We originally ordered our doors for our second bedroom in September and were told the doors would be ready for installation within 8 weeks. Based on this timeline we were thinking our doors would be installed by Thanksgiving. After 8 weeks passed with no response I called them to ask about the status and found out it would take another 1-2 weeks before the doors were ready. Rather than scheduling the installation date at that time they waited until the doors were in their warehouse and at that point the installation crew only had one available appointment within the next 4 weeks. I ended up taking time off of work to be home for the only available installation appointment and wasted my time as it turned out the doors were not measured correctly in the first place. We then waited an additional 4 weeks for the doors to be modified and during the modification they broke the glass. Now its January and we are still without doors for another 8-10 weeks while they re-order the doors. At this point the whole process will take over 6 months and we were required to pay in full prior to the original installation appointment so we have no other option but to wait it out.

Its 10am on Friday. It its closed with a sign that says out for lunch will be back at noon ;)
