I was extremely impressed with the experience at Jahan Diamond Imports. Being a first-time buyer of an engagement ring (and hopefully last time), I was somewhat knowledgable from doing my online research, talking with friends etc. I did not expect to be further educated on walking in, but Stephen did just that. The environment was extremely comfortable, with Stephen even giving me a beer to help ease the nerves. From there, we started by looking at the beautiful stones they had. One of the only things I knew was that my girlfriend liked emerald cut. Stephen was able to help me pick a gorgeous stone, and then coach me through the remainder of the process all the while reminding me that if she didnt like it we could do some rework (which we actually did). At the end of the day, the most important part is that she said yes and she has the perfect ring on her finger. I will definitely be reaching out to Stephen at Jahan Diamond Imports again!

I had been in the market for an engagement ring for a while before a friend (who had purchased from Stephen before) referred me to Jahan. Stephen worked with me the whole way, from bringing in and selecting beautiful stones, to delivering the finished product after designing the ring. I even asked to get the finished ring back sooner than we had planned, and he didnt bat an eye. I ended up with a stunning ring that my fiance loves, which costed about 2 thousand less than many other dealers (some right down the street) had quoted me (for stones of similar carat weight/cut/color/clarity/etc.). I was so pleased with the process that my fiance and I ended up checking out wedding bands a week or so later. Stephen will definitely be my go-to-guy for any more custom jewelry needs.

Dont purchase your diamonds anywhere without checking out Jahan Diamond Importers! After months of searching everywhere from Craigslist to Shane Co., a friend recommended Jahan. After checking out their website, we submitted an inquiry and I was contacted by Stephen to learn more about what we were looking for. I gave him what was previously an impossible set of goals to find in our price range and amazingly, Stephen came back a few days later with several options he found that actually exceeded my wish list for quality, brilliance, size, and price.Being local to SF, we scheduled an appointment at the store. Stephen had taken considerable time and effort in sourcing the most gorgeous stones globally and had them flown in for us to view in person. Mr. Jahan met us upon our arrival, introduced himself and shared his extensive background of 30 years of experience in serving the community. Stephen then guided us on a tour through a fabulous selection of loose stones he had selected for us, and explained the nuances of each one, while Mr. Jahan shared some of his delightful diamond projects in the works with us.It was actually fun, relaxing, and there was no pressure what so ever to buy. The diamond and setting we ultimately selected was personally finished by Stephen, (hes also a professional jewelry designer) appraised at a higher quality than we expected, and the price we paid was 70% lower than retail! Stephen is the best in the bay area.Like all guys I was a little nervous and intimidated about shopping for an engagement ring. After going to ~5 of the popular retail stores I found my way into Jahan and met Stephen. He is so refreshing talking about stones, settings, and was able to break down all the terms (4cs included) about what to look for in a good diamond. I have been fortunate enough to get several pieces from Jahan Diamond Imports this year.I found them when I needed to sell a pair of estate earrings. They gave me a very fair price and were upfront and totally transparent during the process.I was so impressed with their service, I had Stephen custom make a bracelet for me. I had a good idea of what I wanted, showed Stephen a picture, and got a quote. They sourced the diamonds, sent me CAD drawings of the piece, and made the bracelet. It is beautiful and very well made- I wear it very day. I get tons of compliments on it .So, this fall, I wanted to have bracelet made for my daughter for her 25th birthday. Again, I knew what I wanted (a diamonds by the yard style with emerald cut diamonds in rose gold). Of course, can’t just get something for her, so I ordered one for me too(in platinum).I also had Stephen start to look for a larger stone for my engagement ring. I was looking for an emerald cut diamond - approx 3.5 carats, as I figured that would fit my budget . I asked Stephen to start to looking for one. He had just acquired a 4.76 carat stone and sent me some pics. I hated to even ask how much it was as I was pretty sure it wasn’t in my budget. After shopping around for an engagement ring (Shane Cp, Tiffanys, etc), my girlfriend and I found ourselves at Jahan Diamond Importers.
