Im not usually on the Richmond side of town so I was looking for a dessert shop and saw that they had durian mochi!! I also ordered the eggette deluxe dessert. I ordered through the phone since I figured it would take a while to make the egg puff. Once I got there, I noticed how big inside was, definitely a great place to hang out with friends and share snacks/desserts (but Im not sure if theyre open for indoor dining yet). Their menu is pretty big, with lots of chinese cafe items. The man making the food seemed to be working alone. He was very kind and made the eggette dessert so nice!! The egg puff was well made and the strawberries that came with it were so sweet. It also came with ice cream and was a great dessert. My family loved the durian mochi too. If Im on this side of town, Ill definitely try to come again!
Nice no frills cafe with nice desserts and teas. Very relaxed atmosphere, the servers are always there to help but they dont push the customers to order or leave. Great for an after dinner tea party. Open late night.
Sweet Mango is the spot for you to get all your Hong Kong desserts. They have a huge menu containing meals, desserts, and beverages. It is around $8 per item on the menu but everything I had so far was really good. The restaurant is very spacious and is a perfect place for a social gathering. It is my go-to place for dessert and have been several times. Highly recommend it.
If anyone is going to dinner around the neighborhood, I recommend to save room for some dessert! They are open late, so it’s perfect! I love their cute little mango mochi!
Wife loved the mango ice cream and son loved the mango mochi.
My friend and I are obsessed with the eggettes deluxe! Tons of fruit and nicely done. The vanilla ice cream really make it amazing. Its harder with covid (recommend you eating it right after pickup so the eggettes dont get soggy).
Worse dessert ever in SF. But I still give it a star as it open late till 2AM on Friday night. Highly recommend not to come here if you want a good dessert. Expensive for the quality and boring menu.Staff seems like not care about customers either.Very disappointed!
Food is always good but service was just off tonight. Waitress took our order and literally forgot to give it to the kitchen. There was some miscommunication between the first waitress and the second waitress so we ended up waiting an hour for our order. Giving them the benefit of a doubt, theyll definitely deliver better service next time.
Formerly known as Creations then Dragon Creation...now Sweet Mango Cafe lol still the same menu and food. I was there last Saturday night during their soft opening, lots of people but wait time wasnt too bad for a large group. Love their free lychee black tea as always. I usually go with #41, which is the mango fruit cubes with mango ice cream, coconut milk and glutinous rice but this time I went with the coconut red bean pudding with the hot red bean dessert soup with dumpling. Solid dessert spot.
Service was good but the HK style milk tea(hot), honey lemon tea(cold), glutinous riceballs in sesame paste, mixed fruit sago in coconut juice, wasnt good at all. The only decent item were the eggettes(egg puffs).
Theyre open until 2am on the weekends. Meh on the snacks. But the desserts are fine.
A decent place to get dessert in the midst of our dessert phase in San Francisco. They have sweet and also salty foods so you can get a meal if you wanted to. They remodeled the interior which looks super nice now. The service was only mediocre, even though there werent too many people inside. Prices are pretty general compared to other dessert places. Quick side note, the eggettes were veryyyyy crunchy and not at all terrible if you like to go around trying them like me.
The eggette and the hot glutinous rice balls were were both very good, but for some reason the rice balls came out like 15 or 20 minutes after the eggette. They seemed busy, but it would have been nice to get a heads up when we ordered if they knew it was going to take that long. I also enjoyed the free hot tea.
Food is tasty. Good for dinner and dessert. Their mango mochi is excellent!
Theres a lot of options, we only tried the snacks and drinks. The drinks (mango pomelo with honey jelly and papaya shake) were amazing! The food items: curry fishball, popcorn chicken, pork chop sandwich, and spam and egg ramen were just alright. Give this place a try if you have a sweet tooth. Accepts credit cards and open past midnight!
Extensive menu but cash only.
