I give million thai a 5 star. They are friendly. I call to order and requested special orders on the papaya salad and larb salad and yes they made it for me. Mind you Ive call 3 different thai restaurants first. Alot of thai restaurants here in SF only carry thai style papaya salad & plain larb style salad... but I wanted laos style papaya & a different style larb n of course they made it for me. 🤗🤗
I love curry and the curry at million Thai tasted like the one I had in Thailand last summer. I had the Panang Curry and it was delicious. We also had fried rice and duck as well as Pad Thai.Absolutely recommendable are even the fresh spring rolls. A pleasure. And the garnishes looked amazing.Further the prices are moderate for downtown San Francisco and the portions are large.Very considerately and friendly stuff.
Good food from all around the Thailand regions with authentic taste north, south, east, west and central
Great foods. Great customer service
Came here for cheese today. Im fairly new to this cheese and wine tasting thing and asked them for recommendations. Everyone is welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable. They gave me some information about different types of cheese and gave further explanations. Overall, an amazing place to go to if you want to purchase wine and cheese.
A late night, in and out meal right after a five hour flight so I could have eaten the tray in the street at this point.MTR was a friendly place with really good food. I ordered the spicy eggplant which comes with rice. Given the name has the word spicy in it and I asked for extra spice I was expecting an inferno but was disappointed. The food was all well cooked but there was no spice. Maybe because it was about 20 minutes before they closed?
OMG!!!! This was the best red curry ever. I got it with tofu and the veggies were great. Fresh broccoli and bell peppers. I got it spicy and it was definitely 🔥. In the best way. Go get you some 🔥🔥🔥. Also. Just walked in for a to go order and it was wicked fast.
My boyfriend and me were here for a couple of days and we tried different places of foreign food around the city and this place was really REALLY GOOD. The pad Thai the best! My boyfriend had a seafood salad and it was really delicious too.Great staff. Very helpful and patient. Vast quantity, good location.
Very good food and reasonable prices. The pineapple & orange slices with the flower garnish were a nice touch.Other than that, it’s Thai food. Assume it will be good, and when you come here, expect it to be fantastic!
They offer a large variety of fresh food. I enjoyed eating here. Staff members are always very nice, pricing is affordable and the spot is always neat.
Love the breakfast menu! Very tasty vegan food, so sad its not available daily! The owners are very nice as well!!!
Great food and even better service. Tonight had beef salad. Delicious! Tender beef and just medium spicy as I asked. Very reasonable prices.
I’m Thai So I tried to find a Thai restaurant that has real Thai taste and I found it here. This restaurant made me feel like I’m home. All food are Thai style not American style. Staff are nice.
Very quiet place in downtown SanFran but some of the best Thai food!!! Everything is SO fresh and good, and the service is fast. Must stop if you can find this little gem
Wonderful food and service. I had pad Thai and Thai ice tea and enjoyed both. My only minor complaint is the awkward one person table where i was seated left me eye to eye with each person that walked in the door. A minor issue for a great new restaurant.
Great food for a reasonable price. Loved the crispy basil and penang curry
Great tasting food, very reasonable prices and friendly service. The curry dishes are full of meat and vegetables and delicious. The noodles in our pan fried noodles dish was soft and very fresh. Tasty!
This is small restaurant, clean and well lit. There are a couple of TVs to watch sports. Staff are friendly and helpful. Order were prepared well in a timely manner.
This is the most tasty Thai food I have had in a long time. Super fresh, friendly staff, and a lot of flavors. The Tom Yum was soo delicious as was the pineapple fried rice and pad Thai. Next time I am in SF, I am definitely stopping by for another meal.
I went to this place for lunch and ordered a combination Thai fried rice. The rice was good until I noticed. I only had 1 shrimp in my combo. I had numerous pieces of squid pork beef and 1 shrimp with a Thai Tea. I was offended. I said I only have one shrimp the waiter said ita because the shrimp cost to much. I said I do not want this paid 3.20 for my yea with a 5.00 bill and told them to keep the change.I will never go back here....
This restaurant is not big. Only 1 toilet there. But the food was very good. I get the chicken basil, tom yum and chicken satay. It was very very nnice and dont forget to try the dessert fried banana with ice cream. Fantastic.. sure will be back here again
Extremely fascinating flavors even on the simplest Thai dishes. Says a lot about the place. I’m not new to Thai food, mind you. I’ve had Thai food from Maine to NYC to Chicago to San Diego.
Tried the panang curry and green curry and they were both excellent! Perfect for a cold windy day in San Francisco.
The noodles were fresh and the food was high quality. Dont be fooled by the modest hole in the wall feel here, the food is top notch. Definitely recommend
Portions were large and service was quick, but this is some of the worst Thai food Ive ever had. The pad see ew noodles tasted sour, and the chicken was flavorless and chewy.
Such yummy food and fast service. Great little place
Very small place and with non-traditional Thai dishes on the menu. Cozy but not for big groups. Service is good. But just nothing unique thatd make me go back again.
Really solid Thai food. Rich and savory red curry and tasty mango sticky rice. Ive had better red curry but would stop again in a pinch.
First time here, it was really good. 2nd time the food was mediocre.
Generous portions of food. We ordered a pineapple fried rice and a pad thai for takeaway, and found that it is more than enough for dinner, with a bit of leftover for breakfast.
Wow! What can I say?! Food was delicious and the price was great too. We had a groupon deal so we only paid $7 more! Definitely recommend this place!!!
Great tasting food and fast service!
Good authentic Thai food, especially the warm sticky rice with mango. Very satisfied meal :p
Very welcoming on a Friday night, exceptionally quick service, tasty food with good veggie options and not too spicy (though hot sauces provided too). Did the job nicely!
Terrible place! I had dinner last night at this place, I had chicken satay and Penang curry, 30 minutes after the meal, I had all the symptoms of food poisoning, vomiting and severe diarrhea.... I had to cancel my meetings and return to hotel, had a really rough night. I wrote this feedback is to warn other travelers so they don’t get sick like I did. Also want the owner to improve food safety procedures.
Food was average and we were leaving after paying our check while one of the servers pulled me on the side and asked for a minimum of 18% gratuity because in America we collect 18% gratuity. I was shocked to hear that. I never heard of such thing and she had nothing to defend back at.
3 of 10 was barely spicy. Basil chicken matches picture and is mostly chicken. Overall fine taste but not stellar
The service, prices and food were all great. There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our food.
Stunning! It s very difficult to find authentic Original Thai Taste .. i Had Pad Thai and it was as delicious as it is in Thailand ! Great and absolutely recommendable
Ok food, great service. I had the noodle soup and thought it was to sweet.
Terrible Food. My husband and I just ordered their duck Fried Rice for Delivery and it was completely inedible. The rice was overcooked and the duck was very old and not fresh. I dont remember the last time I was disappointed with Thai food.
Well priced and good food
The pad Thai was a bit sweet and could have been a bit more spicy for my tast but still good.
If you are in the area for conference or work this is a good spot for Tasty freshly cooked Thai..its not a fancy place but doesnt need to be food is excellent. Prices really good. Spice levels on 1-10 for any dish so you can have it as mild or spicy as you like.. I did a 6 and was as spicy as I would go whilst still retaining taste.. Fresh rolls, softshell crab and the curries are great.. Im sure there are fancy places in SF.. But my feet were killing me after DF14 and it was opposite my hotel . Staff really polite. Food excellent. Good value for money.
Really great pad thai. Note the spice level isnt very strong, and a 5/10 registered as I can barely taste it. I do have high spice tolerance though, and can get through full Sichuan meals without water.
Decent food but lacked spices I’d typically expect
Authentic Thai food, not sweetened, lots of spice.
Poor quality of food, no fresh coriander nor chili.. had tom ka and red curry - both very bad. Would NoT recommend
The food is excellent you got to try the shrimp appetizers
Very nice curry. Pad Thai was too sweet for my taste
Excellent food and friendly staff. A little cramped and busy even after lunch.
Food is good but the servers who work there oooh pls can u guys smile a little bit!
If you’re looking for authentic thai food this is the place to go!
Million Thai is run by people with Thai traditions, producing Thai food that could be the pride of Thailand. A cosy venue, friendly staff, and the restaurant was full---thats always a good sign
Dont be expecting fancy decor but the food is delicious. Try it. They do take out. They do not have their own delivery but uber eats etc will go there.
Very good! Panang curry was excellent
Outstanding.....the food is delicious....servive is great
Excellent green curry. Super friendly service.
Close to Hilton good Tai food.
Wasnt too sure about the place at first but food was great, would come back again.
The cook goes out front of the restaurant with his gloves on, mask around his neck, and apron on. He finishes his cigarette and goes right back to the kitchen same gloves, same mask, and same apron. Right back to work and the concept of washing hands doesnt exist. Even if the food was the most amazing food in the world (its decent but not mind blowing), there is no excuse for this type of horrible sanitation.
The garlic pepper chicken was dry and rubbery. It was clearly overcooked. Other than that, it was decent.
Great spot, delicious food and nice service. I know where to come next time I visit San Francisco
Fried chicken was a bit tough but overall pretty good.
Quality thai food. Menu selection was very good.
The pad thai here is great.
Good food for a good price. Everything Ive been to on my trip to SF has been overpriced, but this place was just right.
Pad Kee Mao, Pad Kee Mao, Pad Kee Mao.... Spice level 4 = EPIC
Good food. Staff friendly.
Penang curry was really good, rice was a little over cooked
Tom yum soup was very tasty and not spicy...But chicken fried rice lacked Thai flavours...very bland.....
Super friendly service! Delicious!
Their Tom Kha soup is basically a miracle. So glad I stumbled across this place!
Great Sweet And Sour Chicken.
Super accommodating, pleasant service.
A simple and good food
Great food!! Worth the trip!!
Authentic Thai food in the heart of the city.
Great little place
Get there cashew nut chicken!
