I have been very very patient with the owner of this establishment. Unfortunately there are not many places that we can go to get pointe shoes for our kids. ROSE is pretentious, rude, and lacks customer service skills. She speaks down to myself and my daughter when there is absolutely no reason to. For the past few years we have been solid customers, buying all of our supplies there and supporting the business even during the Pandemic. Thankfully the rest of the staff is nice. However if you talk to ROSE beware. Stay tuned for her conceited, insincere reply to this review. Its fake...just like her.Update: She tried to blame COVID. Mind you shes been rude and pretentious even before then.

Walked in, and I was offered immediate help. I was looking for Jazz shoes and Dominique gladly grabbed a few different styles and sizes that would work best for, considering Ive never worn them before. Very clean and welcoming store.

Excellent pointe shoe fitting for my adult daughter. Shes danced for years and we both agree that this is the best looking shoe shes ever had. Were definitely coming back, even though the shop is quite a distance from us.

I purchased my ballet flats here. The ladies were so nice and helpful. I tried on a couple of different brands to see what would fit my feet best. I ended up getting the Bloch brand shoes. Theyre really comfortable (leather) and well made. Since im a student, they gave me a student discount. I was really pleased with the selection of merchandise and the prices seemed fair. Im really happy I found them. I highly recommend this store.

The staff there was so kind and helpful. The pointe shoe that i got was the best pair i have ever got. I really recommend this place for dancers will definetly come again.

New location, but everything seems to be improved! i help pick up ballet shoes, etc. for area dance companies. the new shop is more open, and feels more friendly and open. glad sf still has a great ballet pro shop!

Thankfully these young ladies have opened a great dance gear store in SF!The location in SOMA is so convenient and metered parking is very easy to find.They have a great selection of shoes, leotards, accessories and warmups. All of the quality dance brands available. The salesgals are very nice and knowlegeable. If you need dance gear you should check them out!
