This place is really taking care to protect people in the time of the virus. They are offering everyone that walks in gloves, to help protect them and the stock, and then hand sanitizer as you leave. I feel safer shopping here than most other places right now.
A great local grocery! A nice selection of ice cream and various foods (especially for a small local shop).
Ive lived a block up on Coleridge st. all my life, and this small unnasuming corner store is a neighborhood institution. Its owned and operated by a very friendly family. I strongly encourage my neighbors who have the means to support them to do so. You may be surprised at how much it brightens your day just to buy a few snacks or staples here, exchanging pleasentries with a shopowner who recognizes you. In the past few years, they have begun offering fresh produce and prepared fruit cups etc in a new refrigerated display in the front of the store, which Im very happy about--this is the first step toward shifting toward a stocking strategy more akin to Harvest Hills Market over on Stoneman, another longstanding neighborhood gem.
A nice mix of salty and sweet snacks for stress eating, bottled and canned drinks- water, kombucha, sodas, wine, beer; frozen foods and canned foods. Great quick stop, friendly staff.
Rodrigo and Everardo are extremely friendly shop owners and a good part of the community. They carry a decent selection of good snacks and kitchen staples. They also will carry items that you want if they dont stock it already.
This market, its employees strive to stock quality items for the local neighborhood. On top of it all they arent too proud to show their gratitude... this is rare for SF, and Im super grateful to have it here for the neighborhood. Thanks!
This place is awesome! Friendly people! 😁
