I took the Intro to Moto Maintenance class recently and It was an amazing experience. I could not recommend this this class more to anyone than wants to learn more about the bike they own, not just motorcycles in general. The instructor Alex was so patient with all my newbie questions and did not hesitate to slowly walk me through everything I wanted to know. I never felt like he was rushing the class He had time for all of my questions and concerns. The shop has everything you need to do just about anything you want to do to a motorcycle from changing oil to changing tires, even a welding station. I cant wait to take another class thank you guys so much for all the knowledge!! Oh and the class is super affordable for how much you can learn.

Moto Guild is a fully equipped DIY motorcycle repair shop on Treasure Island. Aside from the obvious savings in doing your own repairs, they offer classes that cover just about all aspects of MC repair and servicing. I have a lot of mechanical experience (aircraft, auto, bicycle) so finding someplece to maintain my moto was a no-brainer. Facility and staff are great! Theres a gear consiignment section as well. Overall? First rate facility and staff!

If you live in the Bay Area and, like myself, and don’t have a garage to work on your bike — this is your place. Or maybe you don’t know a whole lot about bikes, but want to learn how — this is your place. They offer classes or one on one time with a mechanic.Every tool you could ever need is here. They can get you any part you need, and usually for the best prices. The whole place is a community of people who love bikes and are happy to offer a helping hand.Alecks and Wilder are the salt of the earth and have created an awesome little paradise for every motorcycle rider.Been coming here for a couple years now, back when they were still in Potrero Hill. T.I. has more space and allowed them not to hike their rates (they actually sent out a poll for people who used the shop to vote on the new location, mad respect). This place is awesome. Even if you don’t have a bike to work on, but love riding nonetheless, at least come check it out.

Coming from bicycles and DIY bike shops this was just what I was looking for when I got a motorcycle. The shop is super clean with lots of open space. You can buy or sell used motorcycle clothing and protective gear as well. All the tools youll need to do whatever you need to do, as well as helpful people around who usually know a lot about motorcycles. Just make sure to research the job you want to do because time can fly by fast here.

I had a wonderful experience at Moto Guild! I just had my first child, and needed to trade in my Mini Cooper for a more reliable car (and one that could actually fit a childs car seat inside comfortably). I am definitely not very savvy with shopping for vehicles and tend to have lots of questions and fears prior to purchase. I had a wonderful sales representative meet me at the door (note that: ONE, not Ten waiting to pounce on prospective buyers). Christian was very patient with my questions, wonderful at explaining all the details with the cars I was interested in, and very patient with a fussy new baby and her care needs as well. The sales and financing parts went smoothly and I left with a new vehicle in a matter of hours rather than a full day like expecting. I would recommend them to any new car purchaser...and definitely going to choose a Honda for future car needs!

I booked a 1-1 session but they forgot to order the part. Even booking the session was a nightmare. They wont call you back, do not answer your emails. I showed up and an extremely unfriendly person said they never ordered the part. I give it two stars because I took a lot of classes there and they were great! Not sure if the new owner cares about clients but he just lost one.

Cool concept and way to work on your bike the right way!! Just gets costly having to spend $20 a hour so can be worth it for a quick job if u dont have the right tools that take up space and expensive (changing tires, sprockets, suspension) but any job that takes over two hours I would rather not waste $$$ using there work station.

The place to go if you know nothing and you need a hand.Halfway through a road trip, 2,400 from home, and my MacGyvered shift pedal (snapped off; I rode 2,000 miles with a vice-grip as a shift pedal) was causing me all sorts of problems. Out of desperation, I dropped in at the Moto Guild to get an idea of what my options were. I as just some schmoe from the Midwest, yet Alex bent over backwards looking for spares among their inventory, then checking numerous locations and websites for the partsI needed before recommending a welder who might be able to help me.Seriously wonderful and friendly service. I wish the local moto collective back home was THIS comprehensive and operated with this level of quality.
