I found Cris in 2019 and have been a fan ever since! There is a wide range of inventory and many *tasteful* pieces from universally-recognized to contemporary designers. Too many consignment or buy/sell/trades in SF accept outdated styles, but staff here is knowledgeable and weed out the duds. While I havent purchased anything on sale here, the staff recommend realistic price points when helping clients consign and try to keep prices reasonable and fair. All of the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, and their passion shines through when they work. Ive purchased and consigned here multiple times and am happy with every bit of business I bring here. In my opinion, its THE BEST womens consignment shop in SF! The only complaint I have is I cant shop for my boyfriend here anymore, as their new location doesnt have a mens section.

Was in town visiting my daughter and decided to take a peek at their selection. Saw a retired Louis in impeccable shape that I loved immediately. A few associates and myself spent a significant amount of time trying to authenticate it by locating the serial number. None of us were successful so I decided to leave and sit on it. They implored that it was real. So I left them my number and asked them to call me once they had located the serial number. I heard nothing, so I decided to give them a call, after an hour or so. I asked about the Louis and inquired if they had located the serial number. I was placed on hold for quite a while and decided to hang up. I was willing to take a chance and returned the next day to purchase it. I entered the store with my daughter to awkward looks and an uncomfortable air. I asked about the Louis. The associate said the Louis had sold immediately after I had left, saying something to the extent of, the purchaser of the purse didnt care that they couldnt find the serial number. Needless to say, I was wildly disappointed. In addition, having worked in consignment for over 16 years, customer service is very important to me, and I was floored by how I was treated. Especially given the price of the purse, my willingness to return, and their inability to authenticate the purse, but exclaim that they had found a purchaser that deemed it wasnt essential to have a serial number.

CRIS was once on Piedmont Avenue in Oakland. There I bought a top from Jeanne Marc and several other garments that were clean, flawless, and lasted for years. I bought an Italian resin bracelet made of over-sized, brightly colored ovals - something Iris Apfel would wear - it livens up my sombre wardrobe - its one of a kind. CRIS stocks many high quality pieces at appropriate prices. Yeah, true, I cant afford much right now, but everything I ever bought there was worth the dollars - lasted for years and worn frequently.

I always have some great finds here! Always beautiful and trendy! The girls who work here are very helpful and the owner cares very much about her business. I can drop some serious $$$ here!
