It is rare in this day to find someone with the integrity and kindness of Dave. His business filled a niche when we were looking for long-term rental of computer equipment. His fee was completely appropriate and terms fair. The return date fell close to the Labor Day Holiday and Dave generously suggested we wait to return the items until after the holiday. This resulted in a nearly 2 week extension for which we were not charged. Should the need to rent again, I would immediately go to Dave and Golden Gate Computing.

Easy and convenient MacBook Pro rental for a week! Everything went smoothly and I could pick a MacBook that worked for me and the work I had to do during the week. They were communicative about possible options and pickup/dropoff was easy. Would recommend and would rent again!

I contacted Golden Gate Computing for a laptop rental and they were just awesome. Dave, the person with whom I worked, provided me with the exact machine I needed, next-day delivery service to my home office on the weekend, and was helpful, reasonably priced, and super efficient. In addition, I asked to swap out my hard drive and upgrade my operating system on my older laptop, which they did on the day and within the time frame and cost estimates they had given me. Its working like a charm. I recommend Golden Gate computing very highly.

This place is wonderful. I guess they usually deal with businesses but we were in a bind. Computer for my full time student went down with major issues. We needed a computer fast! The guys were so helpful and accommodating I can not recommend them enough!

My laptop needed to sober up from my weekend in Vegas, and these folks were quick to guarantee and provide me a MacBook Pro rental to get me through the week. And when I couldnt return it at the end of my reservation, they were very accommodating. My company has used them before for production tech / computer rentals. I highly recommend Dave and his team. Let me jus say I did not even know renting computers or laptops was a thing, but Im sure glad it is. this is the first time myself, or our company has done laptop rentals and it was the best/easiest experience possible. We needed to rent about 10 laptops for rent VERY last minute and these guys got everything together for us on such short notice. They even gave them to us in a fancy shipping box so when we were done it was ready to ship back! the laptops were very nice and worked perfectly! We will definitely be using this company again in the future when needed.

I had a 5 star experience with Golden Gate Computing. I rented a Macbook Pro for two weeks and it worked flawlessly. I used the computer for animation and video editing with Adobe Creative Cloud AfterEffects and Premiere Pro (using my own subscription). It was easy to download the software I needed and use the computer with everything I needed. Pickup and drop-off was extremely easy and flexible.

I rented 3 ipads from Golden Gate computing to use during my wedding. The booking process was very smooth and easy, they even shipped the ipads to me a week early and did not charge me extra for the extra time. Golden Gate Computing breathed new life into my 2012 MacBook Air. Unlike most people, I hate buying new devices. I had my computer configured just the way I like it but 9 years after buying it, the speed was so slow and only worked if it was plugged in. GGC updated the OS and replaced the battery with a 2 day turn around. I was never without a computer since GGC offered me a MacBook Pro rental. Hopefully I can eek out 5 more years of this machine! And just at a fraction of the cost of buying a new laptop. I highly recommend Golden Gate Computing! Wish I had found them earlier.
