Such a cool vibe and idea - vinyl, coffee and wine. A great place to visit when in the area. Lots of items to choose from and the vibe is very laid back.

Great local coffee shop. They have a good selection of reasonably priced food for breakfast lunch and dinner. I came for brunch today and they had a bass and guitar player just jamming which was very cool! Good assortment of kombucha, coffee and tea. They also serve wine!

The pizza here is so so so good!! The pan (deep dish?) crust is so yummy and all the ingredients are fresh! I get the vegan pizza without the vegan cheese (not my jam) and it’s so tasty! Always have at least two pieces leftover for late too and it reheats perfectly in the oven. They do take about 25-30 min to make your pizza so do not go there starving! Or get an appetizer? Enjoy!

The atmosphere is enjoyable and the coffee tastes very good. I came at a good time, before there was a long line. The woman who rang me up was nice but she was in the middle of talking to a customer who was sitting at the bar already enjoying what he ordered. She continued to talk with him even while I was standing at the register for about one minute. She barely even looked at me when she served me and was extremely short and quick to take my order and THEN PROCEEDED to continue talking to the customer before I was even finished checking out. Another worker had to actually finish my transaction for me. Not good or professional service from her at all but I had a nice time after I sat down and had my coffee :)

Incredibly friendly service, great Tuesday Trivia, and they now sell Counter Culture coffee by the pound. I’ve mainly stuck to coffee and wine so I can’t speak to the food but the drinks are great.

Vinyl Coffee & Wine Bar is hands down the best Pizza in town. Its small so be prepared to wait or go in off peak hours. Menu changes regularly with imaginative combinations you are not likely to see elsewhere. Prices are reasonable and cheaper than other similar restaurants. Its not your pizza hut so be prepared to pay for quality.

I love Vinyl. Its my favorite neighborhood cafe. It has everything you could possibly want from a cafe.Great staff: Josue and Edgar are such nice guys, and the other staff there are always friendly.Coffee: the pour over is *great*, and they use Counter Culture Coffee which is really solid.Food: their paninis are hands down the best sandwiches Ive ever had in a cafe, are comparable even to some fancy lunch spots, and are served with a legit side salad. Its clear they really care about the food. Vinyl mostly draws remote workers as patrons, and those types of cafes typically have bad food b/c food isnt their focus. Im definitely a foodie, and I love eating here.Seating: for the size, there is a lot of seating. Its usually pretty full, but there seems to always be at least a couple tables open. And the tables arent tiny like some cafes.Outlets: They have tons of outlets!Music: theres always some solid music playing in the background, just enough to add to the white noise but not loud enough to dominate in any way.Clean, spacious bathroom: makes a huge difference.

My first experience was okay, second was great but third was horrible because the guy and woman behind the bar kept chatting away without acknowledging my presence. I hate to play the race card but I felt maybe I would have been greeted if I were caucasian like them! They made eye contact with me but said nothing, just continued to talk. Then I waited until the cook noticed me and when I tried ordering he pointed at the guy and woman conversing behind the bar. At that moment I decided why bother ordering anything from a place where employees simply ignore you as if youre in there to just read the menu for no damn reason. I walked out dissatisfied and feeling disgusted with the experience. (PLEASE HIRE BETTER PEOPLE WHO TREAT ALL PEOPLE LIKE PEOPLE!)

Excellent wine/coffee bar. They have trivia on Tuesday nights which brings a great vibe to the bar. They also have an amazing wine selection from mainly California wineries. They also have cheeses for sale served with warm, soft non-stale bread. Overall impressed by this place.

They need to figure out an ordering system that works or hire more than one person for night times. The poor woman at the register has to open bottles, pour beer, take food orders, as well as opening and closing out tabs. It seems insane to have to put on your coat to go outside of the bar to stand in line to order another drink. The pizza pop up is great but I won’t be coming back here for it. I hope they find a batter place to host them. Please close the doors when it’s cold out. I had to decide between sitting on my coat to keep my butt off the cold metal chair or wearing it to keep the rest of me warm. The hand dryer in the bathroom doesn’t work.

The place definitely looks popular amongst a young crowd that seems to be coming here on weekends to work on their laptops. The place itself isnt too big but there is plenty of seats and plugs to charge your phone or laptop. It has an artsy, hipster feel to it, background music is great. Staff isnt overly friendly but nice. Coffee is good and the sandwiches arent bad either. Ive had a chicken pesto panini, it was really tasty, though the salad garnish that got served with it looked a bit old and not very appetizing. The cutlery that was given wasnt particularly clean, had quite a bit of dried on food.

Edit: had to take away a star for them being very late with my food and serving customers that came after me their food even when i ordered first. Didnt even get to eat my sandwich until later. Co-worker had the vegan breakfast burrito and i tried some...not the tastiest vegan options there. My go to lunch spot. I usually have the chicken arugula sandwich. Has a small gluten free pastry selection. Usually quiet and food is served fast. Reserving that last star for when I finally try their wine selection but so far so good!

Great cafe for coffee, food, and ambiance. But not so great if you need WiFi. Their WiFi doesn’t work. When I spoke with the baristas about it they just shrugged and said that’s the way it is, they spoke with tech team about it but that there is no plan to get it fixed.

I met a good friend here for brunch one Sunday morning. We went for the breakfast sandwich on a french roll. The eggs were done just the way I like it and the melted cheese was prefect! I really like the lay back feel of the cafe. We sat there for hours catching up. If you want a chill place to bring your laptop and hang out this is the place!

The staff are friendly and the food is decent for the price/location. Its also one of the few cafes in the area that does food beyond pastries and has a range of drinks beyond coffee. The staff also bring your food to your table which I appreciate. They do have some power outlets and wifi, but the free wifi is sometimes patchy. Overall a nice spot to work. Glad they have started keeping windows and doors shut to minimise cold air drafts and noise.

Vinyl is a chic joint located on a very popular stretch of Divisadero. Despite being a cafe by day and a wine bar by night it attracts a fairly homogeneous group of patrons. In fact, youll see many people still working away with their laptop/headphone combos after the place has become a bar. This can throw off the vibe, and also can make it difficult to find seating. Vinyl has recently opened a kitchen; however eating here will leave you disappointed as the quality and quantity of food is not competitive with other options in the neighborhood. This bar has lackluster pub quiz contests on Tuesday nights.

Ill say its typical pricing for SF. Great location! However, if youre considering to work/ study there and need a good wifi connection, this is not the place. Websites are filtered. You can access email, Facebook, and a few others. However, I could not get on websites to research. Even banking like Chase is blocked. If youre studying, reading, or need a tech break then this place will work.

Ive lived a minute walk away from Vinyl for three years, and I am not a coffee person so I generally ignored it.
