Used to be one of top ones, still alright coffee. I think coffee used to be better for my taste.
Placed an online order on 9/6, waited over an hour (30 minutes past when it was supposed to be ready) and was told by the staff They didnt know when they would get to it. Asked for a refund, they said We will refund you when were less busy and would not refund me on the spot. Its now 9/25, tried to contact their location and a support agent via the website multiple times and NO REFUND. I dont live in SF so I cannot just go to this location to fix. Ive resorted to disputing the charge because I have no other option.
Their toast clearly has pine nuts in in, despite the menu specifying it was nut free. When I said “hey this looks like it has nuts in it and I have a deadly allergy” the woman’s response was “I don’t know what’s in the bread”. “Can you check?” (There was literally no other customer around so it’s not like they were otherwise occupied). “No”. Horrifyingly blatant lack of concern. The other employee, Kingsley, was awesome at apologizing to us on the way out but the woman who works there is going to get somebody killed along the way.
One of my favorite coffee shops in the city - they do great coffee (love the Australian touch with the Flat Whites), have great food, and the wait time is usually much lower than other comparable places in the area (looking at you Blue bottle).Keep up the great work
I just had an amazing avocado toast on gluten free bread! It hit the spot! I also got a hot tea which was good as well.
Operating on 4 hours of sleep, been up since 5am in the morning working with clients and crazy demands, I needed coffee.I wanted something different and ordered a matcha latte, but forgot to add espresso. After getting my drink I went back to the cashier to order a shot of espresso, without batting an eye she just said she can take care of that for me and told the barista to make me a shot of espresso on the house. Dont know her name but she made my day!
I was looking for to this (being an Aussie) but left disappointed 😔 The team are great though...coffee not so.
Yummy Australian coffee! I personally really like their red beet latte because it’s made with almond milk and it’s not too sweet. They also offer pastries and salmon toast. If you were wondering what the Magic drink on the menu is, it’s similar to a Gilbraltar. The bambicinno is a small baby shot of mocha and steamed milk without espresso (good for kids). Download their mobile app to rack up points here.
They offer a nice selection of drinks, including oat milk as non-dairy option, which I appreciate.
I got the matcha wellness iced latte and it was one of the worse decision of my life. First of all, they charge $1 to make it iced, 1/7 of the total cost of the whole drink (the whole drink was $7). Well it made sense because all I tasted was water, soy milk flavor, and a sprinkle of matcha. I might as well have ordered soy milk flavored water with a dash of matcha. Overpriced, over-iced, and overrated. Oh and they had paper straws, which go figure melted away as I was sipping on my delicious soy milk flavored water. I am never coming back again.
Service is extremely slow (14 minutes for a cappuccino slow), even when not busy.
Very expensive and nothing special.
Smaller location, 6 stools and some outdoor tables.
