Love your online store but I walked out of my way to see your in store location. The Google address is not the street address. Walked around a building for a while only to finally call your phone number and realize your in person location is closed because of covid.

Went here with my girlfriend after she found this place online. We went to the store as we were in SF and they staff were great. Friendly, helpful and lots of shopping done.Suggestions for a better experience:-Better area for trying on garments. It was a bit of a temporary thing with just curtains-Specify product material type on description, as fabrics are different for the same garment in different colors

If I could give them zero stars I would. I ordered pants from betabrand through their on line store. They did not fit well, so I returned them and obtained another pair. These did not fit, and I ordered yet another style. At some point during this process, I received store credit BEWARE! once you receive store credit, you can never, ever receive your money back. So after the 3rd pair that did not fit me well (they should fit, they are $74 for a pair of yoga pants), I asked to return them and get my money back. The person did not tell me that I would not receive a refund. When I received the message via email that I would not be receiving a refund, I called. Spoke with someone who said there were no refunds for store credit, and this should have been explained to me (it was not). Was told I should just keep the pair that dont fit or order yet another style. Spoke with the manager Jordan, who also said no refund. Wrote the company, they also say no refund. So..... I would not recommend this company. Be very careful with their refund practices - or better yet, buy your pants elsewhere. Little Black Pants are awesome and have a great return policy.

I went here to shop for pants and the sales lady was super helpful to me, she explained the styles and cuts and brought me various sizes to try on until I had found two perfect pants for work and another for going out. I had shopped around on the website before visiting but it made a big difference to try the pants on myself, as I chose different colors/styles than I had planned on getting. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and above all I can’t wait to be totally comfy at work!

I’ve purchased several pieces, mainly through online crowdfunding projects. I have the NASA-inspired BETA jacket, and a few of the super comfy work slack style sweats. I enjoy supporting fashion designers and makers who are pushing the envelope in affordable custom clothing and designer fashion. Betabrand has cultivated a lot of great talent, and their brick and mortar store is always a fun visit along Valencia.

Love the quality and comfort of the boot style yoga pants. Ordered the petite length but still too long. Had no problem returning the pants.

Ive purchased a lot of stuff from them in the past online. It is a hit or miss experience with at least a few nice finds. Going in person, the hostile treatment from staff for you know, giving them money, was enough for me. I kinda wanted to believe this place would be nicer to queer people, but no. If you want to spend too much on poorly made clothing, you can do better. Stitching errors are their business.

The sizing is not consistent. I have 2 pair of straight cut petite which fit perfectly. I purchased another pair in the same size and style and they were too long. Kind of disappointing.

I decided to order a pair of the yoga dress pants. I spend a lot of my time at work driving to and from locations so I thought these might be a nice alternative to typical dress slacks that tend to get wrinkly. Im a little disappointed to realize that these are just an updated looking design of the same thick polyester type pants my grandmother always wore. If they had a gathered elastic waist band Id see neatly no difference. Definitely s little disappointing for the price.

I didnt shop at the physical store, but I have tried to order things online twice now. Half of my first order arrived on time, but the other half never showed up. It took multiple emails to finally get through to them that my package hadnt even started shipping yet well after the delivery window had come and gone. I finally got a real response after about a month and was able to get a refund.I placed a replacement order a few days after I got the refund. I ordered 3 things. One arrived within the delivery window, the other two are still missing. One item has been sitting in the processing your order phase for over 2 weeks, the other is stuck at En Route to DHL - this one was only updated after 3 emails to the shipping partner, Passport.Would NOT recommend ordering from Betabrand, their shipping practices are suspect, and their customer service is horrendous.

My ONLY sort of negative review which Im am totally sure it can be fixed is that petite size they sold me is actually a regular. Ive purchased many petite sizes and pant length has always been on par. For some reason both petite sized pant I ordered where 3.5inches too long in lenth.

Ordered these WAY OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE pants for work (basic black pants), because they sounded awesome. Placed the order in Jan. Now its March. I have sent emails, but have not received pants or refund.

Advertised as dress yoga pant with deep pockets. Got dress yoga pants zero pockets. So disappointed as the with pockets part was the ONLY reason I was interested and willing to pay the higher price. I needed khakis for work so I had to wear what was shipped as I had no other khakis and I hate the hassle of attempting proper full refund returns. But will never buy from.this company again and will try to spread the word of buyer beware, they tout this pocket thing like its the big idea and then the only pants in a decent price range has no pockets and it is not obvious they dont when ordering.

I have ordered several pants from Betabrand. I have loved them all. Received complements and recommended the brand. Granted, I did not meet their return policy of 60 days. I purchased a pair of pants over a year ago. They have been hanging in my closet with the tag on them. I pulled them out this week to wear and they have a hole. I called and was told I could get a 20% off coupon code. Why would I order another pair of pants with a hole in them. I guess my shock is, if you believe in your product, it shouldn’t matter how long ago it was purchased. I would have taken an even exchange. And would you not want the torn pair back for quality control? Unless you truly don’t care. I’m done, and sadly will not recommend this company again.

I used to really love Betabrand pants but for some reason they cant figure out shipping and they seem to expect the consumer to pick up the tab when they screw it up. No thanks!

Dress Pants Yoga Pants...WOW! The most comfortable pair of office pants Ive ever worn and they still look professional. Im hooked!

I just bought a pair of their Dress yoga pants. I love love love them. They are extremely comfortable, made very well and fit great. The feel of the fabric is amazing. I keep rubbing the fabric, it is so soft. I have ordered 2 pairs and want to get the rest of the colors. I havent washed them yet, but it says they can be cold washed. They are great for work, play and also travel.

Ive shopped Beta through their online store for years. I love their stuff (pants, shirts,, sweaters, and a bag). Today was the first time that I ventured into the store.Two of us walked into the store on Valencia. There were two guys that were behind the counter chatting and chuckling with one another. There was one other shopper there. This is a very small store. Small enough that it would be practically impossible to not notice two shoppers walking in and browsing.The folks working there were apparently so engrossed in their conversation that they never once looked up to acknowledge us. I mean not a single word was said to us. It was oddly dismissive. The experience was such a turn off that we left after less that 10 minutes and are now heading to other shops that carry equally unique styles, but dont act like basic customer service is optional.

I recently bought a pair of the dress yoga pants. They fit and look great except they’re too short. I’ve worn a 34” inseam forever, and this inseam wasn’t even close. You may attract new customers like me initially, but it doesn’t expand your market if you don’t actually have the product that you describe. Please save us the hassle and don’t say that you do. Truth in advertising??

Experimental clothes with deceptive features typically formal looking with comfort in mind. The store generally employs friendly staff whom offer up a little too much attitude with their service (hence the docking of star). Bought many things from Betabrand and will return again. Wish they trained their staff to be nicer to customers.

This place deserves 0 stars as it isvery dishonest & their customer service is unbelievably terrible & their reps are rude. I placed an order & I never received updated emails. In addition, the status of the order was in pre transit for over a week so I called to inquire about this. Very rude agent said they sent out a cancellation email the same day my order was placed & a refund was issued because product was out of stock. This was a blatant lie, I never received a cancellation email & my card was still charged. The rep acted like I was unintelligent repeatedly telling me I need to check my spam folder. I stated that I consistently checked spam & all I received from this shady company were advertisements.Surprise...after I hung up with customer service I received a cancellation email with a refund issued on the day of my call. I called back to inform customer service & the same rep said they sent out the refund email AGAIN after speaking to me. And she further stated my card was refunded the day of purchase. This again was a LIE because the email shows refund was issued the day of the phone call & my card still has not been refunded. Stay away from this crooked company. If you have to resort to these tactics to make money then you do not deserve to be in business.

The location is very hard to get too... the store is cute! The customer service was the best!! The two young ladies that helped me out rocked! I bought myself two pair of pants and then ordered myself one online since they ran out of petite ones in the store.. I am officially hitched to this story.

A cheeky cheery shop with equally cheery staff... Strangely but brilliantly, all socks bought come with a years free insurance in case you lose one. We thought they were joking, they werent! They also have a great range of casual business wear (yes there is such a thing) and shiny disco suits. Look out for their great photo ops too - they had a Big Foot to pose with when we were there!

I really like the yoga dress pants. I am an attorney and wear the pants to work. I believe the pants to be overpriced but I like them enough that I pay it. Further, they take way too long to ship. I received pants with a product defect last order. Customer service was very nice and made return and replacement easy except it took weeks to get the replacement. Customer service said the product was ready to ship out but was inexplicably delayed.

Betabrand used to be great, awesome even. Over the past year their quality control and customer service have tanked. Always try on the clothes youre buying. The sizing is different not just between different styles, but between every article. Ive had to return clothes this year because they were not labeled correctly, yes, the sewn-in label was the incorrect size. Their return system sucks. Theyve disconnected their customer service phone line, and it took a month the for them to reply to an email the last time I had an issue with my order. It then took another 3 months to find a solution. In my last email I expressed how disappointed I was and how I didnt think I would be a returning customer, which they did not even bother to reply to. Their store has a dwindling supply of their clothes and the staff are generally useless since they dont know the products theyre selling.RIP Betabrand

I used to love this website. However, they never have the sizes, and they dont refund your money back even if you ask them to. They just tell you its against their policy and you need to buy something from the website instead. But the only remaining items are small or XXL or pretty expensive things that no one else buys.

Betabrand is a fantastic clothing company, really great quality clothing and at a good price! The whole atmosphere of the store is super interesting and fun. I love shopping at this store it has everything that i need from pants to jackets to funky cool disco shorts! They are super interactive with the guests and i love their model citizen ideas! I came here with my husband looking for some biking jeans. He found lots of options and sizes, and finally bought some. The quality of the products is very good, and hopefully those jeans will last a long time.While he was on the fitting room, I looked into the girls clothes, maybe its just me but I wasnt attracted to a particular piece. Everything looked boxy and simple, much more suitable to men.

I am so sad to be writing this review as I love their pants and have purchased many of the same style for the last year. I can say I will NEVER purchase again due to the insanely rude and unprofessional customer service agents they hire. I just spoke to a guy named Ben. I felt like I was talking to my 5 year old son who kept interrupting me telling me I was wrong and would not let me explain my concern. So from the top on the off chance someone in management or the owner ever reads this.I placed an order for Handsfree yoga pants & skinny-cut mod dress pants. I received a shipment yesterday for yoga travel pants which I did not order. I attempted to explain this to Ben and he continued to over talk me and tell me I was wrong and maybe clicked on the yoga travel pants by mistake. After 5 or 6 times of me trying to tell him that was not on my receipt or order confirmation and explain to him what was on my confirmation I had to shout over him like I would to a 5 year old who is not listening. I mean good lord! I cant imagine ever treating a customer like that. He continued to mock and laugh at the situation. I hope these calls are recorded. He told me the managers name was Alex and that I could reach him next week but would not tell me a day or time he would be in.I am truly shocked by how rude this person was. I hope this review saves someone else the trouble. find a new brand, do not support this company or there awful customer service staff.

The clothes are unique and youre certainly bound to find something you like here. Prices are a bit higher than average, but its to be expected.We came here during he Silicon Valley Fashion Week, which really doesnt say much. They provided free cocktails which always gets people through the door.

I ordered two pair of the straight-leg yoga work pants back in October and I love one of the pair. Odd I know. Same exact style/color and same exact size. However, one pair, after hand washing and laying flat to dry, still managed to shrink up and fit significantly tighter than the other pair. It’s almost like that pair is a petite, but labeled incorrectly. I would order these again, but just know that not every pair fits the same. I should have returned the pair that didn’t fit, but life got in the way and I forgot so unfortunately I spent $58 on a pair of pants that aren’t comfortable to wear. Also, if you see your size available buy them immediately. They run out quickly.

After two years of stalking their website I had the opportunity to visit the shop while on vacation. The only thing eclipsing their amazing wares is the friendly and outgoing staff. If you have the chance I highly recommend stopping by.

The clothes look better on the website than in real life. If you take the trouble to go to the store itself they will likely not have your size (no matter how ordinary) to try things on, assuming the staff bothers to help you at all.

Betabrand are doing fun things with something we sort of need, clothes. Using the crowdsource model for creating new clothes is novel and so 2015. In SF, go to the store in the Mission and spend your money.

First review ever writing a google review because its the first time in my 52 years of life Ive had to deal with such amazingly unprofessional customer service. I originally ordered $205 of merchandise, all too small. When I returned, I clicked return for store credit thinking Id just get the next size up. Well, those were so giant they literally fell down as I walked. So I had to return them. I asked for a refund this time, but they will only give me store credit. To a store where nothing fits me. After 20 minutes on the phone with their HEINOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE, I was told It is physically impossible for us to refund your money. Huh?Why they need to keep $205 of a single mom, public school teacher simply amazes me. Predatory business practices.

When we walked into the store, it looked like a second-hand curio shop. The two people working were unpleasant.This store advertises that they stock Vivobarefoot - this is not true. All they do is provide a service where you can order the shoes and pick them up at the store. This can be accomplished online with FREE shipping to your home - and the shoes ship from California! A waste of time to visit this store.

Awesome new clothing store! The awesome thing about this store is that people can submit ideas for clothing and give feedback on new pieces of clothing that betabrand is thinking of coming out with. The quality is awesome and the customer service is super friendly. I highly recomend checking them out.

Just visited the other day, after work on a dark rainy day to boot cause I was committed to see if I found my dream pants. The pants are on the pricey side so I visited in person to be able to compare some different pant styles and to find my true fit before I ordered everything. I was very much let down, super small, hardly any options to see and no one helped me out. I felt ignored and let down. I want to make these my primary work pants but the experience was sad.

Cool designs. And bought a bag here that i use for farmers market trips and weekend trips and its amazing. Theres a tiered shelf system in the bag. In the bag!!

Unique patterns and materials

Probably some of the best feeling pants I’ve ever put on my body! I originally ordered the Dress Yoga Pants in a long & had to return then because they were wayyyyyy too long. I’m so used to having to buy long because normal length eventually becomes too short. However I ordered another pair of regular length pants & they fit wonderful! They sit perfect on my body & even help give me a butt again! I’m super pleased with these pants. I wooo be buying stock in these things that’s for sure! So glad they popped up on my Facebook newsfeed!

Anyone who complains about Betabrand has no appreciation for craftsmanship or the difficulty of maintaining an independent retailer clothier brick and mortar store. Viva la Beta!

I have NEVER bought a thing here before, but I ALWAYS drop in with my friends when we pass by because of their hilarious free photoshoot set-up. So far weve gotten our photos taken with Santa the hutt and a gorilla hanging from the ceiling. The employees here are equally cheeky and random. Im fairly certain hipsters love this place.

Betabrand has the funkiest, flashiest clothing on Valencia St.Strike that. In SF. Strike that. IN THE WORLD. Disco hoodie rocks my world. I also love my Koi hoodie. The store also has lots of cool events.

Hello good night Im doing an academic paper about the store. I speak directly from Brazil and apparently is a very interesting store, with a very cool history. What is different about this store is that they invest a lot of technology to bring a deep quality to the customer. I havent given 5 stars yet because I didnt buy anything later I can change that.
