After looking around at all my options I went with the Peanut Butter Puck, the Sesame Nougat and the Seasonal Carrot Cake Truffle.I have to say the Peanut Butter Cup was the only disappointment of the the three. Honestly, I felt like the milk chocolate wasnt sweet enough and the peanut butter wasnt salty enough. But I did enjoy the Sesame Nougat! Although I feel it was more of a chewy brittle that the fluffier nougats Im used to. The main flavors in this were definitely the rich dark chocolate and sweetness of the caramalized nougat. The Carrot Cake was definitely the most unique and ended up being my favorite. It contained a layer of carrot jelly and a layer of a spiced chocolate ganache, all enticed in white chocolate. When I first bit in, tasting all these things separately was a little strange. But once they all melt together in your mouth, so good! And actually tastes like Carrot Cake!
During COVID its hard on the workers with the ever changing status of stores. Lily was great in making sure I got my Christmas gift to my family and friends. Thanks Lily for being such a great committed worker!
Amazing place for nice chocolate stuff. Great range of chocolate and other candies. Its one of our favorite place to have some nice dessert after dinner.
This boutique is adorable and holds delicious surprises! Their chhocolate case is elegant and the chocolates within are delectable.
Buy the Smores package!!! It was fantastic!!
A customer at the shop recommend the chocolate so I started to look at what was available. (Visited around 4:30pm today). However the male employee was VERY rude so I went to another vendor and spent my money somewhere else..... The owner should be aware this employee is chasing customers aware..
Absolutely delicious,amazing high quality chocolates.
Very friendly service. My family enjoyed coming in on Saturday and picking out special candies. The lady (I cant remember her name) was so helpful and super nice. We felt very comfortable in the store. She made our kids visit special. She explained where the candy was made without all the dyes and chemicals. The candy is imported and tastes pretty amazing. The watermelon sour gummies are awesome.
The chocolate sold here is without doubt the very best, tastiest, freshest and artistically the most beautiful I have ever eaten in my 67 years. When I moved to San Francisco 40 years ago I thought Sees and Ghirardelli were the best chocolates until I started buying and only eating Recchiuti. A young man by the name of Michael and the young ladies who work with him are always very helpful in aiding me in making the most delicious selections. I am a customer at Recchiuti almost every day. I cant wait to see them tomorrow.
As it was recommended by others, we got the Black Box. Before you even tasted the chocolate, you could smell the strong chocolate aroma. Definitely intoxicating. My favorite piece out of the entire box was the Burnt Caramel. Its the one in a rectangular shape. Outside is white chocolate filled with the burnt caramel. It was so unique and delicious. Heavy caramel taste without the feeling of excessive sugar. You could taste the burntness in a good way. Didnt taste bitter or ruin the chocolate experience. This is definitely the place to go to get a gift for chocolate lovers. When you walk into the store, the staff is really helpful and friendly. They make their own chocolate in house and you can definitely taste test!!I would come here again and definitely recommend it to others.
CHOCOLATE! Amazing, delicious, chocolate. If you like chocolate, this is a must stop when youre in SF. The store is laid out well, with beautiful displays showcasing their treats. They have great gift boxes as well - giving you the ability to choose within groups of flavours. And dont miss the smores box! Its incredible!
A great chocolate shop with a fantastic range of options. This is really fine chocolate, coming in all sorts of inventive flavors and combinations. Great to find a gift or for a special treat. Staff have always been very helpful to me.
Absolutely fantastic! While this is not purely high quality, this is about as close as you’re going to get to high quality in a blend in San Fran. With quality bars made from quality blends, chocolates made with high quality chocolates and other treats, this is a must visit chocolate shop. What I really loved recently was the wine & chocolate and whisky & chocolate pairing kits they have created – brilliant innovation!
So amazing! All candies are labeled if they contain gelatin, gluten, dairy, or nuts. A bit pricy, but it is worth it!
Have been getting this chocolate for years. love the sesame burnt caramel.staff is happy to help you.
Great place with variety of chocolates. Little on the pricey side but yummy.
Chocolate is quite good here. Staff is helpful too!
Delicious! The sea salt carmels are perfect in every way.
Expensive chocolates do not have a distinct flavor. But they are creamy
I come here for three items: dark milk chocolate bars, choc covered burnt caramel hazelnuts, & peanut butter pearls. Mmmm chocolate.
Truly great service and product. Ask the servers what they like; you wont be disappointed by their recommendation. Lemon-verbena and thyme squares from there gave my tongue le petit mort.
At Recchiuti Confections, chocolate is an obsession. And here are mine:Fleur de sel - the chewy caramel with sea salt folded in and dipped in dark - its great for those times of the monthBergamot Tea - spot on with the Earl Gray Tea infusionTarragon Grapefruit - for the foodie in meCassis Strata - the pates de fruit cassis dipped in dark chocolateSmores Bites (sorry folks, only available May thru October! Im dying -- the Smores Kits just dont do it like fully chocolate dipped smores!)Kona Coffee - this chunk of choco is so dense I had it for breakfast one morningBurnt Caramel Almonds - chocolatey, salty, crunchy, addictiveKey Lime Apples - surprisingly yummy and crispPassion Fruit Pates de Fruit - almost better than eating the real thingSesame Nougat - chocolate with sesame nougat (more like brittle) - its like eating the candy of my childhood with a sophisticated bite
Very good chocolates. Especially the key lime apple
If you like fine chocolate this is the place to go. Its a bit on the expensive side but well worth the taste.
We bought 3 boxes for gift. Place is really expensive. I am not sure to go there again. Parking area is not much.
By far, the best chocolate I have consumed in the Bay Area!
Cute & great chocolates.
So good!!
Delicious!
