I love the products by this store. The designs really are focused on the user and you can feel the quality of their materials. This store is really clean and organized. The staff are quick with helping you with you questions or needs.

I’ve never been to the store but I look forward to it. Knowing how painstakingly well this company designs it’s products, I’m sure the store is a marvel as well.My experience with PD is conservatively, a 14/10. I have their Everyday Backpack 30 V1, Everyday Messenger 15 V1, Tech Pouch and Travel Duffle.Literally all my bags are PD, except for my luggage, and that’s just because they haven’t made any yet. They are a worthy, ethical investment. They appear relatively pricey, but for what you get they’re practically a steal.I’ve had the backpack and messenger 5 years and they look practically brand new. The messenger has seen rigorous daily use, the backpack has travelled with me on 150+ flights, domestic and international.Nothing has broken. Nothing has failed. Nothing has ever let me down.Most recently, due to my own stupidity, I’ve needed to exchange my duffle, and to call on their customer service, which delightfully, also didn’t let me down. Not a common occurrence in this day and age.I hope this company endures, keeps doing what they’re doing, and keeps making magic for years to come. They deserve all of their success and a lot more. I’m privileged to have had a chance to back on KS, and I look forward to being a customer and advocate for decades.

Amazing high quality sling bags. I was originally going to buy the 3L everyday sling but the 6L sold out for me and my needs. The workers knew the products really well. Fantastic warranty I couldnt ask for more. I hope the next product will have a way to lock it. Closed from pick pockets and little kids.

Peak Design has fantastic products. I have not been to their storefront location and purchased several of their products on Amazon. Their camera strap is beyond comfortable. 8 hours sporting a 24-70 G series Sony lens on a Sony A7Riii and no site shoulder. They have a very nice company carrying case as well that fits this company with a large lens and several batteries. It is also very comfortable. Big fan of their products.

A different experience to visit the store, bd online shopping. Defiantly worth the drive if you are within distance. Staff was very chill and professional. Nice vibe! Parking can be a challenge in that area and the street in front of the store was blocked off. Peak Design was a company I followed since their first product and it’s nice to see a company so dedicated to their product and their customers. Warranty is excellent! Thanks Peak Design...

Ive had the 30ml day pack for a few weeks now and it is living up to the hype. It is one of the best thought out backpacks Ive ever owned. I travel to many different locations throughout the day, carrying a Nikon D5 and a laptop along with several lenses. I have owned multiple camera bags from lowepro to mountainsmith. All of them have trade-offs that eventually caused me to abandon them and look for something else. No bag is perfect, but this one gets quite close. I love the side access as well as the folding inner platforms that subdivide the three shelves. The construction is extremely durable. I love that there are no plastic latches. I break these always within a few months slamming them in a car door or dropping them on a rock. I hope they continue to develop other accessories that will go along with this. It would be nice to have a removable waist strap to take weight off your shoulders when you have it loaded up on a hike. Maybe they make one and I just havent seen it yet. I would definitely recommend this to anyone carrying one or more DSLR bodies with multiple lenses. I also have a DJI Mavic pro which will fit inside along with all this other gear. Nice work peak design.

The store is so awesome. Right in downtown SF and close to local stores. Also cool crew of employees. Most of them are Photographers so they represent the community and Understand what they(we) need. Its the peak of the standard of camera bag and equipment quality.

Their camera mounts that turned out to be faulty were a real hindrance. To their credit they replaced everyones free of charge. Still, their camera mounts are innovative, I will give them that. Yet their small carbon tripod is flimsy as heck. While I can appreciate the goal of their tripod design was likely lightness and compactness, the resulting product has a plasticky feel and is disappointing and is making me reach for my trusty Manfrotto. For such a huge price point, we expect more. Peak is overrated, and their prices are high, and contrary to some peoples expectations more $$$ does not always translate to better. Im writing this because their rep displayed an interesting attitude. Maybe its partly due to generational gap, but these guys really need a lesson in the customer is always right. We vote with our wallets, some of us will vote elsewhere thanks

Was feeling excited about going to this flagship store. There wasnt any customers inside the store. Upon entering, saw this store guy standing at the table. No greetings, not even a smile. Anyway, went in to look at the products and was eventually served by another lady, who was much more helpful than the guy. I can sense that shes probably the more junior staff and had to do what the guy didnt do.Eventually just picked up the stuffs that I wanted, pay and left. Wasnt the experience that I was expecting. Probably getting arrogant after all the hype about their products?

Came into the store today for a peak design event and was impressed with the simplicity of the store front. On top of that, the staff there was impressive and very knowledgeable about their gear!

I have a Messenger Bag v1 from 2016 through Kickstart, and had a small “thing” with the strap.. got a reply to my claim within an hour (on Sat. night!) and replacement approved next day. Outstanding customer service!

Great place with nice atmosphere. The employee was helpful but not pushy. They have all their products out on display so they are easy to grab and test them out. All their products are great quality with a lifetime warranty, plus with a 30 day return policy it makes it worth the price.

Peak design is great; incredibly high quality gear and their customer service is equally awesome. I had a zipper on my edc 30l backpack get a little mangled and become non usable. Their lifetime warranty was great. I walked in, they replaced the bag, no muss no fuss. Cant recommend them enough.

I love peak design but was very frustrated that, after driving from Berkeley to return a purchase before they closed at 7, I found them closed at 6:45. I know 15 min is not very early but I waisted a considerable amount of time driving to the store. I would happily apologize and retract the review if there was a decent explanation, but I suspect the workers left early against protocol.Edit: Based on their wonderful reply I am changing my rating to 4 stars. I have to say, I really do love Peak Design and their products and would always recommend them with this one exception.

Nerd bucket list. Beautiful store, helpful and friendly staff. I didnt buy anything since I already own everything Peak Design I need (so far), but since I was visiting from Seattle I was given some sweet stickers. As always, PD goes above and beyond. Even for an out-of-town tourist geek.

Very unprofessional, they are closed today andThey are not updating there hours of operation.I drove 2hrs because its posted on Google that they are open. I called there # in sf ca and it confirms that they are opened.. texted on there web site to one of there agents and they dont even know there closed.Pretty irresponsible company..... they make a goodProduct, they make money then peak design becomes unprofessional and irresponsibleA typical company.

On my visit to San Francisco I had to drop by the Peak Design store. They had all their products on display to try out. Prices are much better than what you would pay in Europe. Staff was very helpful checking my already purchased PD gear and replacing it if needed without me even asking. Bought more bags than any man should. Thank you Nick for the amazing sushi place recommendation. It was unforgettable!

I had a phenomenal experience in the store today. I was in SF for the weekend and had the family waiting in the car waiting for me. Both employees greeted me as soon as I walked in even though they were busy finishing with other customers. Janice helped me for a few minutes while her customer was finishing up. Then Sean took over as he saw that the gear I brought was almost the same as what he used to shoot with. It was obvious he was a seasoned photographer and helped me select a bag and a few accessories.The messenger bag I bought looks bespoke and handmade. The fit and finish of all of their gear is beautiful. I am so glad I went into the store instead of just ordering online.

The products are great and speak for themselves. But I would like to describe my service experience.I had a messenger bag 13” mode which had a broken zipper. It was a 2 year old bad which I used daily and help up okay otherwise, except for some discoloration.When I arrived and showed the broken zipper, I got a new bag on the spot, no questions asked. Right in that moment, they got me as a customer for life.

Ive been a customer for a while, but never visited the flagship store. The staff is knowledgeable and also just cool people. Great products for photographers.

Amazing design and attention to detail. Have the 13 Messenger and Im really satisfied with it, except for the strap lock, which should hold more, as it loosens when I carry heavier load in the bag. Would love to see a totally black version of the bags in the future, for a more low profile look.

I love my Peak Design Everyday Backpack and Everyday Messenger. That said, this store is a poor experience. The employees are more interested in chatting with each other than actually engaging the potential customers that walk through the door.

Stopped by the store when my travels took me to SF for a week. Id broken the top latch on my Everyday Backpack and they were kind enough to replace my bag with a brand new one no problems or questions asked. Zone and Brooks were absolute gems and helped me check out some of the new products while I exchanged out my bag. Cant sing high enough praises about the brand, products, and now the store as well!

Friendly staff, great place to go and view, try on, fill up, wear and use gear before you buy...also is a spot for retrieving Borrow Lenses gear

The bags are great but we were on a layover at SFO and made a special trip to see the store and it smelled like sewage. Was really disappointing and had to leave after a couple minutes. If there are issues with plumbing maybe burn some incense or something.

Finally a place where you can try their products. It is difficult to tell from the online store whether something would fit you or your gear specifically. The size suggestion for their covers, bags, straps, etc., may not fit your specific camera/gear.Store is spacious so you can walk around and feel the product fit and finish. The staff is friendly and no one is rushing you to buy something.One of their bags started to unravel when we were traveling, and they offered to sell another one to us below costs or replace it (if they replace, the old bag would be landfill). Great customer service and environmentally thoughtful.

I recently purchased a slide strap onlibe, and wanted to get a hand strap, was in SF and thought I would stop by and check out the shop. It was well worth the trip. Not only are the products top notch, but service was fastastic. They helped me fine tune the hand grip, strap, and a tripod plate for my system.Cant reccomebd them highly enough if you ever need to carry a camera!

Very disappointed that my second 30L backpack started to get damage from inside out. Their policy is forcing me to purchase the same product or $50.00 credit.I think is terrible that your policy is forcing me to get a product that twice has come faulty.Terrible customer service being a very expensive product.

I LOVE their bags. I own no less than 5 different ones right now. All ordered through their Kickstarter campaigns. No doubt, these are the very best camera bags and accessories that you can find. Whats also fascinating is how awesome a Messenger bag and backpack they make! After having used their bags, all others are just sad! Super happy that they now have a brick-and-mortar store where I can actually go and just buy the bag that I want rather than wait for weeks on a Kickstarter.

Awesome products with great presentation!I initially backed their Kickstarter with their new lineup of products. However, when I went to their store and made a purchase, they did not have bags for me to put my items in (December 14th, 2017 at the time).The next day I got an e-mail notification about an in-store promotion, I e-mailed to ask if I can get my purchase discounted and whether I needed to visit the store again to do it. I got a reply to call the store, I did and did not get an answer.Obviously this is a new store just opening up at the time, so some issues like these can happen, I look forward to visiting again and see improvements!

So far Ive liked and really enjoy the products Ive purchased here but the customer service once you leave the store is lackluster. The store employees tout that you can email them or contact them on social media but when you have legit issues and questions you will never get a response. Ive also been almost talked out of buying certain products in store by trying to sell me on their hipster appeal of their version 2 line. I purchased a new $199 messenger bag that was factory sealed and it had blemishes on the fabric when I unboxed it later that evening and had scratches on the main flap. These bags will get wear thats for sure but step up your quality control and get the people that run your social media to actually be useful for once. Also waiting 10mins in a store to be greeted is a bit long when there are 2 employees, 3 customers including myself and my wife and the store is only 200sq/ft

This is the only location where you can touch, feel and play with every pack, pouch and piece of hardware they manufacturer. A delightful store in a fun SF location. Get staff too.

Very friendly staff. You can try the straps out with your own camera to see what the weight & balance is like. They also have some film bodies if you dont have your camera with you.
