Hands down one of the best all purpose grocery stores Ive been to. Its like whole foods, Safeway, and a bougie upscale market had a beautiful baby. Reasonable prices, quality ingredients, better and more varied selection that stores 2 or 3 times the size. My new favorite store and best of all its local. And then on top of that you get Antonellis - one of the better butchers in the city!

They have a decent convenience store, a decent bakery, and fresh fruit, among other things. Similarly, the employee was not rude and worked efficiently to meet the needs of the consumers. This shop comes highly recommended from me! Must give it a shot.

Its always been a great grocery shop! Best variety of produce, fruit, vegetables and meat. The staff were very entertaining, nice, and theyre going to direct you well. Also, I liked this grocery store a lot because they have a lot of stuff to buy and fun to walk around. The room was very big and clean. Im going to visit here again and again!

Cal-Mart does not accept EBT, which would be fine except the cashier proceeded to rudely express to me that they only accept “hard earned money” and not “whatever that is”. Honestly really upset considering she had this attitude and felt the need to call the manager over loudly in front of other customers as an attempt to shame me. Classist.

Theyve got all I needed. They had fresh produce and has a wide selection of coffees and salads. It has a beautiful, almost boutique feel. An incredible variety of higher-end as well as novelty food items. I will definitely visit this grocery shop again.

No hello, no eye contact, when I asked her a question she ignored me, then threw the receipt toward me with zero acknowledgement of my shopping at the store. A good old fashioned hello and then thank you is a thing of the past, I guess. How does she keep her job?!?

Love the old school style of this market. great experience from the moment you walk in you are greeted by a friendly face. I usually come in for the grab and go items as I am an essential worker. Their selection is a perfect combination of healthy and comfort food. I got a rosemary chicken salad sandwich. the meat poultry and seafood department look amazing! Clean and fresh. I am planning to get the salmon cakes someday. This is my new go to spot before work. Love it!

They always have great produce, very fresh. The store has your everyday items as well as carrying many of the local specialty items. If you are looking for that unique spice or special item...Calmart just might have it. Lets not forget about the Antonelli Brothers wide selection of grass feed, Kobe, and US prime/choice beef, pork, lamb. Serving up Marys local range raised chicken. A grand selection of local made sausages. And from the ocean, a fine selection of fresh fish, scallops, shrimps, and shell fish. Do not forget to try the fresh made crab and salmon cakes.

This place is a really great Safeway alternative. They pretty much have anything you could get there. I like shopping local first so this place is my go to for lots of things. Really good beer and wine selection. And being attached to Antonellis butcher is a huge plus.

Lovely little market to fetch lovely groceries and sundries

Quality! Comparing products to other local grocery stores I find that the produce is fresher and lasts longer and tastes better than you average grocery store. I went shopping elsewhere to experiment and came out with the same price bottom line, but was led satisfied with the product.

Cal Mart has stayed open during the epidemic and instituted strong measures to combat covid19. Their supply chain has remained strong with shelves well stocked. It depends on the weekday and time but usually lines are reasonable and move quickly. Support your local neighborhood grocer!

It is conveniently closed to my place, it has everything imaginable. Their deli store on the back has good deals and the staff is professional, helpful and friendly. The store could use a boost on d decor.

Cal-Mart is a wonderful place to shop. The store has such a huge variety of products, its almost mind boggling. I love finding items Ive never seen before. But be a little cautious; its expensive.

I was impressed by the freshness of the produce and the butcher section featuring high quality meats, fish, and poultry. Though not a large store there were good selections of most of your grocery needs in well laid out aisles. There is a delicatessen where one can customize their favorite sandwich and add a side or two. The bakery at the end of meat section had coffee and sweets that looked yummy. Today I bought blue lake beans that were harvested recently and were so fresh that they had to be farm fresh from very recently.

Excellent Supermarket with a huge deli, meat counter and wonderful dessert bakery. The deli sandwiches are hand made as you order them and they are quite delicious and affordable. They have a huge fresh produce area.

Come for there hand carved Sandwiches, huge size you get your moneys worth and then some, I had there Pastrami on Sourdough with everything on it, i asked to have it heated up, they said sure, There Tuna is great too, as soon I took one bite, i knew this was my go to spot, so come and enjoy there sandwiches

This is the store I go to for name-brand items. It is always clean and organized, with a large inventory of items. The staff is always efficient and friendly.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked with quality goods. They have the best baking supplies of any store Ive seen. A dedicated butchery, deli, seafood, and bakery. And the best Brioche loaves. Oh and theres a train that rides round the store overhead.

1 star for carrying Acme bread but the service is inconsistent, some staff need to retire, and the store needs a facelift—it’s rundown and old. It’s got a tragic, suburban feel that’s out of step with SF in the 21st century. I’ve moved on to Mollie Stone, more polished and professional by far.

Cal Mart is great! While you may save a few cents on a few things elsewhere, overall Cal Mart is the best local one-stop supermarket if youre looking for a wide variety of items, from all the usual stuff to hard-to-find specialties. The literally have some of everything. Their bakery, deli and meat and fish sections are excellent, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fruits and vegetables are fresh. Lots of choices for coffee, tea, wine, and even flowers. And lots of free parking in their lot!

Both sweet things and the meat counter are separate entities from cal-mart but both are good. The girls at sweet things are AWESOME and the selection is incredible. Mostly great prices. Friendly neighborhood grocery store with fantastic service

Very overpriced unimaginative grocery store. There is not much here that you cannot buy at Safeway, but expect to pay through the nose for it. It’s a common feeling everytime I leave to feel utterly gouged. It probably won’t change as it’s convenient for the people who live in the neighborhood who have too much money to care. The cashier staff are generally nice people and helpful. That’s the only positive thing about the whole place really.

The people at the butcher are incredibly knowledgeable and no frills.- high quality produce!!!!- long term employees. This is the second time Ive come here. First was when my son was born. Weve had their chicken and sandwiches both excellent. They also have fresh produce and addicting sweets. Its not a big store but they have great selection.

This small market is very impressive. The fruits and vegetables are the freshest Ive seen. The fresh bread selection is just simply awesome. Every area of the store was well stocked, clean and organized. I just love small markets like this one because they offer all that a person desires, eliminating the need to go into the monster markets. I wish all supermarket operators go back to this model of doing business.

Cal-Mart is a fantastic place to shop with a great selection and super fresh food. Its just a little expensive, obviously. Its hard to do all your grocery shopping here, but perfect if you need to run in for a few high-quality items.

Great market. I frequent separate meat counter frequently. The butchers are very helpful and usually have a very good selection and cuts. You must pay at the butcher counter though not the market. A little pricey but worth it.

The some of the people running the Deli are really rude, I wouldnt have posted if it was just once but Ive had multiple instances where customer service was beyond bad. Old dude scoffs at me for asking to add cheese to a sandwich? Tall older guy with a super bad attitude. Who wants to eat a sandwich made by a total jerk, not me. Next time I want a sandwich Ill just go hungry. Everyone else that works there is great sorry to them for the 2 star.

Amazing $6 sandwich, made fresh to your liking. it can be a little busy sometimes, but for the quality and size of sandwich for the price, you really cant go wrong. i havent shopped there for groceries so i cant comment on them.

Great people, was crabbing at Croissy field pier, needed more bait. Realized they were terrific spot for non-gmo meat, but pricy bait. Explained need to but her, who offered cheap chicken wing tips, chicken liver, and some fish bones. Found reusable produce bags, 3 for 3.99, which worked perfectly inside the metal crab bait boses!!Ill shop here for myself, if back in SF

Hands down, the best fresh produce in San Francisco. I dont know why Molly Stones cant get fruits and vegetables like Cal-Mart carries, but the difference is astonishing. Not the cheapest in terms of price, but the store offers a good, big variety of traditional supermarket items with friendly staff and relatively easy parking, if you drive. (I always walk.) Antonellis Brothers Meagt, Fish and Poultry is another story. A separate business from Cal-Mart under one roof, its prices are jaw-droppingly high. And the limited selection of fresh fish is quite disappointing. My recommendation: By your fish or meat from Bryans up the street, and the rest of your shopping list at Cal-Mart.

Been shopping here for over 30 years. Has a model railroad built into the wall along the edge of ceiling running around the store just for kids. A good deli and friendly staff.
