Nothing could be better than seeing your only child your daughter in her first wedding dress and hopefully her last people were very kind straight to the point and knew what they were doing thank you guys for an awesome memory

Great variety of dresses, but bad service during alterations. After paying the deposit, it turned out that my dress was not produced anymore. I got it offered as a sample dress. I was charged a lot extra for alterations and dry cleaning at the end, despite almost nothing being done (only shortened the train). Just discovered dry cleaning probably was not done despite being charged -- there is a big sweat stain on the dress I did not notice in the shop.

Had an appointment for July 5, 2021. Made appointment 2 1/2 months prior, asked at the time if it being the day after the 4th of July was a problem, they said no.Traveled a long way to get there with bride to be and her 2 sisters. Gas, hotel, parking. Arrived early and no one was there. Waited 2 hours. No one ever showed.Poor way to run a business.

Great variety of dresses, samples are also in a very good shape so you try on clean dresses, nice large areas for your appointment. I found my 2 dresses here (legal and religious ceremony). Thank you!

Hands down the most amazing bridal store I visited during my search. The staff is just incredible, they are kind and supportive and really listen to their customers. The gown selection is AMAZING. I literally found so many I loved at this store. What really sets them apart is they do all the alterations in house. I love that their seamstress Carol was so experienced working with the dresses. It was such an easy and seamless process. Just stop reading reviews and go make your appointment. You’ll be thrilled :)

Lots of beautiful gowns to choose from. By appointment only. Recommend doing your bridal homework before you go so you have enough time to try different silouettes.

Visited this past weekend to try on dresses while in town. There are not enough positive things I can say about this shop! Beth (one of the managers) stepped in to help me get started when the consultant was running behind with another appointment...I say running behind but this was 15 minutes before my scheduled time. Beth asked me questions about what I was looking for, venue, etc and showed me around the shop explaining the different designers and what styles were where. She picked a couple dresses and gave me free rein to choose my own, too. Normally I dont feel comfortable in these kinds of situations, but Beth and the other consultants made me feel like an old friend instead of a customer. One other stand out during my time here- a group of ladies came in without an appointment and the consultant who greeted them informed them appointments are necessary to try on but made it clear the were welcome to look around as much as they liked and could schedule an appointment. No chiding or cold shoulder-ing for not knowing how to go about the process of trying dresses.I seriously cant imagine a better experience! The designers they carry are amazing and the selection is extensive. Highly recommend for all the outlined reasons- this is THE ULTIMATE bridal boutique! Thank you, Novella!

I couldnt be happier with my experience at Novella so far. While they have a ton of dresses and styles, this place is particularly amazing for anyone looking for a-line dresses. A lot of stores in town dont have the best selection of a-lines. The consultants were all amazing and so friendly. Id highly recommend anyone shopping come in here.

The customer service at Novella (worked with Amber) was great. This was my first store looking for wedding dresses so I wasnt really sure what I wanted. Amber helped me figure out some styles that were more flattering and were my style. They had a pretty large selection of dresses so it was great to try on different styles. I had a great experience here, and they are open on Mondays, unlike many other bridal stores in the area. Would recommend them.

I wanted to review Novella Bridal, since my purchase from them was a bit non-traditional. I bought a sample gown from this store on through used wedding dress website. I received prompt answers to my many questions, and shipping was very quick. The dress is in the exact condition they described (immaculate!), and I couldnt be happier. I visited Novella Bridal yesterday morning and found my dress! Laura helped me when I arrived, and my consultant was Mandy. Both were incredibly professional and personable. Laura picked a dress out for me that I would have never picked myself, but I ended up loving it so much that I purchased it. Mandy was very helpful (especially since I didnt have any friends or family with me) and pulled quite a few dresses that were exactly what was looking to try on. I was never pressured to buy any of the dresses. I had been to two other bridal shops and received poor service- Novella was the complete opposite! I would highly recommend Novella to any bride.Update: I have had 3 dress fittings ($350 alterations, which I thought was very reasonable) and the seamstress also made my veil ($100). I have had nothing but excellent service at Novella.

This was a great first dress shop to visit! The shop was beautiful and they had tons of amazing dresses. Emma made me feel comfortable immediately and reassured me that she was there to help me find a dress that I loved, not one my friends loved. She also made sure to that we only looked at dresses within my budget, and would only show me a more expensive dress if I gave the price the okay first. Can’t recommend them enough!

Great selection of dresses and amazing, knowledgeable staff. Sabrina is the best! I visited 6 different shops and this was by far was my favorite experience.

It took a lot of appointments, but I had a great experience getting a very tricky wedding dress tailored here.

Great selection of different dresses and price ranges.. however the dress they ordered for me was wayyy to big. I get that places do that to allow for alterations, but I’m a size 2 and have been the same size for 10+years.. I was measured there and they ordered a size 6. After FOUR separate alterations, and a bunch of extra $$$$, the dress still didn’t fit. We had to remove an ABSURD amount of extra fabric and were unable to get the dress to fit right. It was still so big after all the alterations. Bummed I spent $3000.00++ for a dress that didn’t fit.

5 star all the way. These guys were simply amazing and I am a very critical person. They welcomed me warmly, listened to everything I said, nothing was too much to ask for, they took their time with me, took loads of photos of me wearing the dresses, the shop was always clean and neatly presented. They all bent over backwards to help me find my dream Pronovias Atelier dress and make it possible for me. Unfortunately, I didnt purchase my dream dress from Novella in the end, purely because I live in the UK and the customs tax and all the rest was too much for a UK resident. I have been to so many shops in SF and this store was hands down, the best. No customer service in the UK has beaten this store, even the actual Pronovias store on London. If you want a spacious dressing room, happy vibes, welcoming atmosphere and people who actually care about how you will look on your big day, go to these guys and ask for Beth!

My five stars is specifically for Carol and the alterations team. While I tried on dresses at Novella, and the staff here was REALLY sweet and helpful, they just didnt carry the style of dress that I wanted. I purchased my dress elsewhere, but brought it here for alterations since they accept outside dresses and I had heard nothing but rave reviews about Carol and her all-star team.To be honest, wedding dress shopping was not the most fun for me. I didnt really enjoy it, and when my dress came in and there were a whole host of issues with it to be taken care of, I was in a bit of a funk about the whole process. I mean, I hated my dress.I tried to put on a happy face, took it to Carol and hoped that she could turn it into something passable for my wedding day. She overdelivered. For my gown, Carol ended up:- Creating a new under-layer since the one from the vendor was not sufficient enough to provide adequate coverage, giving me what amounted to half of a custom gown- Shortening the entire torso and shoulder to be proportionate the gown while still fitting my short waisted self- Removing about 5 inches of extra material from across my shoulder blades while leaving the changes undetectable- Sewing undergarments in so that I didnt require special purchases for that day, while also making it more comfortable- Figuring out a solution for an extremely complicated bustle that looks better than any image Ive seen of other brides wearing this dress- Hemming my dress to still allow a train even though others Ive seen just cut it off...and a host of other little nips and tucks to make the gown belong to ME. It fits me like an absolute glove, and I do not have a sample size body.She and her team also altered a dress for my rehearsal dinner and a third for my Chinese tea ceremony. Those were easier alterations, but I trusted her so much I wanted them to do them. They also custom made my veil to my height and dress length.I dont think I can stress enough how much FAITH I had in Carol to deliver. She was calm, reassuring, and honest from day one. When youre basically ripping apart and recreating a gown you just waited 6 months on and paid $$$$ for, to spend $$$ more on, its scary. But, I trusted her (and you should, too) implicitly. She knows what shes doing, and shes exceptional at it.Further, I actually ended up looking forward to my appointments because I just really loved Carol and her team. Every one of them was genuine and sincere, and made what was a process I was dreading tons of fun. I picked up all three of my gowns yesterday and I shed a tear because while I am not the woohoo, look at me! girl, the work they did makes me feel beautiful in my gown.Thank you, Carol and team, a million times over for all youve done for me. I will never forget how well you took care of me, and cant wait to send you the professional photos showcasing your hard work.

Before purchasing my dream wedding dress at Novella Bridal I visited all wedding salons in San Francisco and felt frustrated and disappointed with the selection of styles. Novella Bridal was the best salon. I was impressed with the service and a wide selection of gowns at the price range of $1000 to $3000+. I had 3 appointments at Novella Bridal before finding my dream dress and each time sales consultants provided me with a great service, were patient, and listened to me.
