Lets start with the negatives. Buyer do not look too happy when she calculated my books that I was trying to sell. Secondly I sold some children books and horror books which total out to about 7 books. I only got a few bucks back. The other cashiers were nice though ! I also spotted good book deals.

This is a very cool book store. Prices are as expected for books (and they have some that were marked down to really good prices). But the ambiance of an old school type bookstore and supporting a great local place like this are worth returning. Plus I can sell my old books here too.

A safe harbour of calm in the busy huddle of Chinatown, thought provoking religious, spiritual, and mindfulness gifts and books. The staff are happy to help but let you wander in peace and absorb the atmosphere. Great for a browse and picking up a more unique gift for those at home.

I enjoyed the selection of gifts - some cute, some inspirational without being overtly religious. However, I imagine most people who will browse in the store will be of a religious frame of mind, and theres plenty of books, mementos, iconography, pictures and posters to suit most Christians. Some things would make nice little gifts for children and young people, and they dont need to cost a lot. Obviously you can get things like miniature nativity scenes, Christmas baubles, and crosses.The store is a bit larger than I expected from viewing the outside, and pleasantly cosy.

My boyfriend and I had a stopover in SFO on route to NZ ... Well we wandered into Chinatown and were spellbound by this beautiful shop... The blad guy was really helpful and inspiring so much so we went back the following day for more items. The products are decidedly touching and beautiful gifts that we purchased . In fact I cant wait to go back next year and as Im getting married this is the most perfect place to get gifts for my wedding party. Thank you to the lovely bald guy you were really helpful and even educated us on patron saints ! Lots of love and positive vibes from the black and white couple !!

They have good quality Catholics books

Brings me back to my catholic upbringing of prayer cards and medals.

This a a great store for all kinds of religious items, Catholic in particular - a great selection of rosaries, unity candles, crosses, crucifixes, icons, etc. At Christmas time they have beautiful manger scenes, and sometimes have menorahs as well.
