I love this bookstore. The staff reviews are great and it’s easy to just wander around and get lost in the stacks. This bookstore also has that rustic, classic feel to it that is so alluring. Lovely spot.

Such a cute little bookshop! Theyve done an excellent job staging the place, with so many enticing reads on display. Definitely a place you can get sucked into for hours if youre not careful :) There is something for everyone here!

One of my favorite bookstores in SF! A lovely little independent bookstore that has a good variety and awesome staff picks. My absolute favorite part of Browser Books is the Sale section and the Blind Date with a Book section ($5 each) because it’s an awesome way to try books for cheap that I wouldn’t have otherwise grabbed! Would highly recommend stopping by when you’re looking to pick up a good read!

Staff not very interactive(not with me at least), did not even gave me the option to order the books I was looking for. I have bought some books here in the past in an effort to support local establishments, but will buy my books online next time, will not have to walk 2 miles and the computer will be more interactive.

Such a cute little neighborhood bookstore with a big selection, including lots of fun sale books, too for those looking for a bargain. They have just about anything for anyone, and very friendly staff happy to help you with finding what you need.

Great neighborhood bookstore

I have gone to the Browser Books for 2 decades; buying books for myself, my family and friends. The location is also fantastic, next to Peetes coffee shop and close to my favorite boutiques such as Rag and Bone and Paige and Alice and Olivia and Restaurants such as Ten-Ichi and Delfina and Florio. Browser books is the perfect example of a neighborhood book shop with friendly staff and outstanding selection of books!

Beautiful bookstore in the CA. Of course its the home of the Beat Generation, but as a bookworm I was quite impressed by the wide selection. Theres tons of great titles and many categories that you wouldnt find in a typical bookstore. Browser Books is worth a good afternoons worth of browsing before heading into the heart of Little Italy.

Visiting the area and stopped by this little book shop. A decent selection of books overall. Dont remember being greated and there wasnt much character to this store like I get with other book stores these days. Still bought a new book and left happy.

I love this place! The staff knows there inventory and a happy to assist. Much like the bookstore s of yesterday before the big box stores put all the other players out. Great stock and fills orders quickly

Nice little bookstore

A great selection of books, almost anything you can thing of they stock. We spend 30 minutes here looking at books and came away with 4 books. Would recommend a visit if you like books.

I love neighborhood bookstores (not chains like Barnes and Noble, and the like), so I was delighted to find this gem across the street from me in Pac Heights! The selection is great and the staff super friendly. The chairs in the back are also great for sitting and reading. I will surely be back!

The best neighborhood bookstore Ive ever had the pleasure of visiting. They have 90% of the books Im looking for, and if they dont, they can get it to me in only a few days. I love this place.

Nothing beats holding a paperback book (sorry, tablet lovers!). This is my go-to neighborhood bookshop when Im looking for a new beach read, a gift for a friend, or just something to catch up on before bed.

I discovered this bookstore 5 years ago and it is an absolute treasure. Places like this dont exist in many cities on the west coast where I live so I make sure to support it and places like it.
