Can’t imagine the Marina without Marina Deli! Incredible sandwiches, incredible staff. Everyone who works there is so kind and attentive. Highly recommend The Hangover for breakfast and The Latino for lunch/dinner.

Why was that literally the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Bread so fresh, meat was inexplicably tasty and not too processed feeling. So authentic and fast service. Sandwich was $16 but with such quality ingredients worth it! Get the golden gate fatty you won’t be disappointed

I’ve never met a breakfast sandwich I don’t like but the Hangover is hands down the best one I’ve ever had.

This place totally lacks the love for food and so the flavor. The lox bagel (rich New Yorker) was so not worth paying for. It was so sloppy: He just cut a cream cheese chunk and put it as a slice in the middle, and also very sloppily placed salmon (it was not crowded at all in the place—they just seemed not to care about the orders). It was so hard to handle the wrong order of the ingredients in my bagel sandwich. They should at least learn to Spread the cheese for that amount of charge.Also, the hangover sandwich was just a bland egg sandwich on loaf bread (only difference), not worth for the money. Eventually, the terrible attitude of the cashier man just made it even worse. It seems like they only care about the money, not sharing/appreciating food at all and pleasing customers.I was there with high expectations and got disappointed after all.

Been going to Marina Deli & Liquor since 1989. The food is fresh, the staff are AWESOME!!! Earlier in 2020 it changed ownership, but so far the new owner has kept over the staff from the previous owner. As of November of 2020 it still seems to me like the same Marina Deli & Liquor I have been going to for 30+ years. I will still be going to it for hopefully 30 more plus years.

Hella good

This is a local deli with a nice selection of chips and sweets, good, fresh and tasty sandwiches and *so* much wine. Stopped by to pick up 2 sandwiches in a bit of a rush and there was no line. Sandwiches were perfect, exactly how we ordered and we had both in less than 10 minutes. Staff is nice. They didnt have all of the ingredients they showed on the board, but that could be due to Covid...either way, the options they did have were good enough for 5 stars

Neighborhood institution. My sandwich is the hangover with only eggs and bacon on a sweet roll. Awesome crowd - the owners bring with their kindness and wisdom to work every day.

I wasnt too familiar with the Marina area of S. Francisco so I didnt know where to get a good sandwich. At Chestnut & Scott I found the Marina Deli & Liquors. The two gents running the place couldnt be nicer and made a GREAT sandwich for $8...The Sunnyside I believe it was called. Sunnyside egg on ham & cheese sandwich I believe. Very good. Great guys. Pleasantly surprised.

Oh. I BET they have the best sandwiches in the Bay!!!!!!! Super fast. Funny. Awesome food!!!!! Perfect in and out market. Cant wait to get back to this corner spot. Yum

Many people say any of the sandwiches or burritos are good, but I favor the burrito over the sandwich any day. The avocado and bacon breakfast burrito is a the weekend go-to. Paul or John are always friendly and they offer some of the best cookies in the Marina.

I will always have an affinity for this place, because it is a small Mom & Pop/ family deli. Been going here for years. Nothing pretentious, great sandwiches, great conversation, great people. Do yourself a favor, grab a Teriyaki Chicken whole wheat wrap, deviled egg, beverage and of course dessert.

Wonderful little market with great deli, produce and baked goods. Big selection of alcohol beverages, prepared sandwiches, salads for after-hours. Friendly people and great service.

This is our go to for breakfast food. And the staff makes a point to remember your name. Highly highly recommend

I am very sad to post this review. The family and brothers who run this establishment are the best of the best. One of the top places left in any city. Sadly, whoever they left it in charge of it on Tuesday, June19th, was dismissive, rude, and so out of line with the heritage this family has created that it has forced me to say that this person is not to be trusted with the store. Ill never give up on these guys, as they are the best. but you need to find another person to give responsibility to when you have a day off.

If you want to pay threw the nose for a less than average bacon egg and cheese go here. Small peices of bacon on only half the sandwhich, forgot the hotsauce and cheese, undercooked eggs and was looking forward to the sweet roll and the guy gives me a soft roll instead.

Outstanding sandwiches, never been disappointed here. Highly recommend!

This is an amazing Deli with a great selection of foods and liquor. The staff is very friendly and it has become one of my favorite destinations for sandwhiches.

BLT with turkey and avocado on a toasted french roll....the BEST

They served my breakfast bagel with 3 cold thick slabs of turkey(tasted like i was chewing a tire) the meat was so rubbery and on top of that i wasnt happy that they served the meat cold.cold rubbery meat. I also asked for cream cheese on the bagel which they did put but it was literally huge ractangle chunks.They didnt bother to spread it. They just put a huge chunck of cream cheese on both sides. It made for a very uneven bagel. Way too much cream chees, meat was very poor quality and to top it off i paid 14 bucks for this bagel and 1 orange juice. Thats ridiculous.

Lines can get long on Sundays, but deservingly so. Marina Deli is the best breakfast spot for takeout in the Marina
