Where do I start... there is genuinely a sandwich for EVERY craving (including a breakfast sammy with peanut butter on it).... I decided to go with the Turkey Lulu, and I can assure you it DID NOT disappoint. If this isnt your grab & go spot on the way to the beach hop on it!

YESS. I got the veggie sandwich with gouda and it was perfection. Solid price for super fresh ingredients on the absolute best deli sandwich bread Ive ever had. The man working (owner?) was really nice too!

I love that there are several sandwich options in this neighborhood. I was intrigued by the italian sandwiches from Handy Deli and decided to try it out a couple of weeks ago.I got the Bella Vista, which has a mountain of prosciutto, fresh mozz, and grilled eggplant, with a walnut pesto spread and finished on a panini press. Every italian sandwich comes with a side salad, which is great! All in all, it was delicious, but it was just a tiiiiiiny bit too salty. Next time, will have to try a different sandwich. Im particularly interested in the bistro sandwich.The deli is quite small and gets a bit crowded around lunch time. I suggest calling ahead so you dont have to wait inside for your order

The sandwiches here consistantly delicious! The chicken in particular is so good! Its tender and flavorful, well seasoned, and that rosemary smell really hits you as soon as you come in. And everyone who works here has been so nice! Theyre always friendly and have shared some great sandwich recommendations with me. I definitely stop here when Im craving a sandwich in the neighborhood.

Skip the single use plastic, ask for a bowl!Ubatuba has some of the best Acai in town. Recently found out that they have ceramic bowls buried in the back to use if youre eating there, be sure to request one!

Not all their sandwiches are spectacular, but the pastrami Ruben is. The cooks are quick and crafty. The three different cashiers Ive interacted with were all very unfriendly dudes. They could polish up on their customer service skills.

Our favorite bodega in the neighborhood. The owner is so great. He has a fabulous selection of beer at some of the best prices around. My only complaint is that hes been stocking so much good beer (faster than its selling) that it is losing its freshness. IPAs do not benefit by time and I can taste it in my favorites. :/

I consider myself a pretty knowledgeable guy on Rubens. I order them everywhere and rate them on a scale of 1-10. I have a list of a few dozen locations; its a little nerdy but its who I am and what I do. This deli forced me to adjust my scale because they made a Ruben so delicious that it knocked my socks off. I want to drive the 22 hours back there for that sandwich. I think about it a lot.My white whale that has ruined all future sandwiches for me.I would recommend these guys.

Awesome little nondescript deli on the corner of 19th and Irving. Stopped in for a snack on the way to the airport. Straight forward liquor store with fifteen foot wall ceilings of just about every bottle you can imagine, plus a big wine selection (cold also available). But tucked into a corner near the cash register is a selection of grab-and-go homemade items like hummus, falafel, and dolmas. Such good quality food!! Will absolutely make this a stop every time I head to SFO.

This place is a mix between a deli and liquor store. Outside there are 2 little tables.The place offers a variety of beers, wine, and lots of alcohol. In addition, they have a big menu with lots of sandwiches and salad and Turkish desserts, hummus and more(they even offer catering).The sandwiches are delicious and filling. I ordered a North beach and added prosciutto to it. I just felt that it needed more pesto and less oil but it was still really good. I also got a regular and a chocolate baklava. Both were moist and sweet. I recommend this place
