Amazing sandwiches. Ordered the San Franpsycho straight up, and the God Father with the works. It gets very busy (for good reason!) so definitely order ahead if you can. 🥪👍

Great neighborhood spot that you can easily pass by. They have 50 or so different kinds of sandwiches to choose from and all are delicious. The staff who prepares the food is very friendly.

Really excellent deli sandwich. Expensive but totally worth it. I am not from a big city so maybe the process are normal for SF. But the sandwiches are really good. We got them to go and ate on the grounds of the near by Fine Arts Palace grounds. Wonderful.

Finally found a tasty vegetarian sandwich!! Highly recommend recommend this spot especially for the veg folks who are tired of getting one slice of tomato and one slice of cheese in their sandwiches ;) Super friendly people here too!

11/10 this is the BEST sandwich I’ve had in SF. Right by the golden gate so it’s a great stop on your way. Super easy to find parking. Staff is really friendly and easy going. This spot seems unassuming But the food is amazing. The menu is epic. Also great beer selection.

I work nearby and walked over to grab some sandwiches for dinner. My coworkers talk about this place all the time and I haven’t had the chance to try until now.I got a classic cold turkey provolone on Dutch crunch. Super cold and fresh veggies, creamy cheese, turkey sliced right in front of you.I read a review after the fact that these sandwiches come hot if you don’t request it so just FYI.Will definitely be returning. I love a good sandwich and my bf seems to enjoy the RB cheesesteak sandwich.Also a wide variety of chips and beer selection if you need a few additions.

Delicious sandwiches, and lots of sandwich options that you can customize toppings. Every sandwich Ive had so far here has been great. I really recommend the Sandlot, the Hnagover and the San Franpyscho. Well stocked store as well, with bottled juice, coffee and alcoholic options for sale along with things like chips and crackers. A great place for a quick lunch stop.

The deli sandwiches are excellent! The daughter or sister who sometimes is cashier makes the whole experience terrible because shes so rude. Thats why I didnt give 5 stars.

Honestly best sandwiches around the bay, they’re expensive but they are really good, they have a biiiig variety, but the guys always have the best recommendations.My favorite is the San Franpsycho (kinda spicy, you can choose it without jalapeños)

While staying at at the Travel Lodge right next door we were told to try a sandwich at this Market/ Deli. Wow, they have a big selection of specialty sandwiches along with a build your own option. They use good quality sour dough rolls which made it yummy. The sandwich maker is friendly and fast. All the people who work at this neighborhood market were cool. I highly recommend you try their deli sandwiches.

I only write reviews if I really feel compelled to. This little deli is a small gem in a big city! Dont overlook this if youre hungry. The selection of sandwich choices will keep you in you in peril which is the one for you... There had to be 30+ to choose from. I had the opportunity to visit twice during my visit to San Francisco and my expectations were exceeded both times. The quality is great and the service excellent. The staff were some of the friendliest people I met during my trip and I would gladly patron them again. If staying in a hotel near the Presidio area, make this a go to stop for lunch or dinner! You wont be disappointed!

Good place to buy sadwinch

Good selection of meats, wines, and little things you might have forgotten to bring along on your trip. The staff is friendly. I felt at home. It js just around the corner from the park. You can pick up a good sandwich and a bottle of wine or beer. It is all good!

Whats even better is that they make the best sandwiches Ive ever had! There quick and everything is made fresh right in front of you. I would recommend my favorite but there all just sooo good. Seriously your lost if you dont stop by. Emil and wally are the owners there great people.

As far as Im concerned, this place has the best sandwiches in the city. Ive been here 20+ times in the last 2 years and even though I live on the other side of the city now I still make regular pilgrimages back to GG Deli.The Darlicious on Dutch Crunch is my favorite but you really cannot go wrong with any of the choices. The menu is a well crafted selection of the best of all sandwiches. Dont try to build your own, have faith in the process, these guys know exactly what theyre doing.

Not a ton of fast, cheap, delish eats in the Presidio so this place is perfect if youre in the area and want a quick bite without spending an arm & a leg. There are a million different types of sandwiches all with Boars Head meats. The workers are fast, efficient and the sandwiches are tasty & full. This became my go-to lunch spot when I worked in the Presidio because nothing in the area can beat this value!

My go-to place for a supreme sandwich. So good.

Love/hate relationship. Every time I go in, the line has formed in a different direction. The last time I went in I got in line from the direction I assumed people were standing and the sandwich man told me I was on the wrong end. The other thing is despite having an amazing menu with items that you would expect to be hot and items you would expect to be cold EVERYTHING IS MADE HOT. Unless your request cold and they look at you funny. In the bay area if you call yourself a deli there is an expectation of cold generally speaking. This should be called Golden Gate Market Subs & Liquor if everything is gonna be hot. Besides ruebens and a couple others I hate hot sandwiches and if you look at quiznos so did a lot of people. A classic deli turkey sandwich should never be hot! And the line should lead you to the cash register not the other way around.
