Jorian did my hair and Im a bit disappointed. Shes really nice but she took dye down to my roots in spots after saying she wouldnt. She also got dye on the shaved sides of my head that wasnt supposed to be dyed. The shop charged us by the hour which wasnt listed on the website. For a bleach, hair dye, and trim my mom was charged $375 - and only the crown of my head got the color lift & dye, and my natural color is blonde so not hard to lighten. My sides are already shaved - I literally only needed half of my hair done and it took almost 4 hours and almost $400.I liked Jorian, but I feel like she grifted my Mom.

I have curly/wavy hair, and for some reason its not so easy to get a decent haircut at a reasonable price. But I was VERY happy with the haircut I got from Eddy. My girlfriend loves it and says its the best haircut shes seen on me (and weve been dating for more than a year). Id say its the best in years. Hes a nice guy too. Not cheap but not nearly as expensive as many haircuts are in SF. Give Eddy a visit!

I almost never do reviews but I had to for this service. (Men Haircut) First time getting a haircut in San Francisco and to be honest, it was the best haircut I had...ever! Landis was not only extremely talented, she was precise and made attention to every details while doing the work, I was impressed. Normally you get a haircut and you feel like you are just a number (if you are not a regular), well Landis made me feel like she cared and I know she did.When I come back San Francisco, Im getting an appointment again with Landis for sure.Simon

Was going to SF to visit friends and decided to go for a big city hair cut while I was there. Found Zip Zap online, read some reviews, and booked an appointment on line with Song. What a moment of genius!Best haircut I have had in years!!!! Really nice place and friendly staff. And as for Song...she really knows what she is doing. She listened to what I was asking for and really delivered. I have a great new cut that is easy to style and looks awesome. Do yourself a favor and make the appointment.

Ive been going to Landis at Zip Zap for the better part of a year now and she gives me by far the best haircut Ive ever gotten. Absolutely worth the price. My friend recommended her and he was spot on.

This is my go-to spot for a haircut. The hairstylists there are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Theyre located in the Lower Haight and charge about $70 for a womens cut. They do online appointment bookings, which is super convenient. Love everything about them. Theyve made a regular out of me!

Friendly staff, easy reservations, great location. Street parking is limited in lower height. Landis is amazing! She takes her time, great highlights, cut and style.

I have been going to Zip Zap Hair Salon for a little over a year and previously went to very high end salons. The only thing I miss about the other high priced salons is perhaps the ambiance. Although the quarters are tight at Zip Zap Hair Salon, my hair has never looked better. I was out with a friend who I have been friends with for 20 years this past weekend and she told me my hair has never looked better. Ive had a couple of people stop me on the street to ask where I get my hair cut. My hair is fine so its not as though I have a lot to work with :) Im exceptionally happy with Olga and LOVE what she had done with my hair- color and cut. Its also extremely convenient that she is open on Sundays.

Mike does a fantastic job. Endearing and easy to talk to, very receptive to feedback. Tends toward a more masculine aesthetic.

Poor customer service, unpleasant experience, the person who is in charge to answer the phone need a highly intense training in basic manners and how to treat customers, salon is overpriced to have such a bad service and presentation, next.

They did a really good job with my hair. I was worried that I was losing volume but they cut it in a way where I was able to keep my hair length and the middle looks fuller.

Typed child haircut into google, and got this salon. Called and was put on hold for 10 minutes before I hung up. Called back, and left a message. Did not get a return call for five hours. Called again, got a person who told me they did not do child cuts. Bad attitude, bad customer service.

One of the best hair salons in SF. Located in the Lower Haight, this funky salon is well-lit and comfortable. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, you can tell they are all family. Monica is my personal fav, she does an INCREDIBLE job with cut and color. Great for blondes!

Been going here for probably nine years. James is who I usually go to. Im a guy and dont die my hair or anything but I know there are others who can do all that. I have gone to other stylist when James isnt available and have always gotten a good cut. Its expensive but worth it in my opinion.

They did a great job for a somewhat steep, but reasonable, price. Ill be going back.
