They are ok. Sometimes the service is good. Just this one time that I took my car for a smog check and it passed. But then I took my car to somewhere else for new tires that same day and the tire place told me I have a big oil leak. So I felt that Golden Gate Auto could have told me this when they did the Smog Check. And they took a week to call me it was ready. Never got a call the day I took it there about the status and this was a day before the shelter in place took place. I kept calling and could not get a hold of anyone.

Henry is efficient, knowledgeable and will get to the root of your car problem.

We did our car service here and the price was reasonable. But most importantly, Sunny was super friendly, explained what he did and diagnosed our engine light. We came back for a proper diagnostics which he did for free and gave us tipps on how to navigate the issue. When we had a more serious problem with the transmission we came in again. He laid out the possible reasons and our options to deal with the problem. We will definitely come back!

Well this experience goes a way back, but I took my car to get the transmission fixed and they fixed it, however my radio and stereosystem did not work afterwards. After a bunch of delays my car was ready way later then was quoted.But my radio was broken afterwards. I went one more time afterwards hoping for a better experience the second time but it still left me feeling less than happy after everything was said and done.The transmission did work afterwards though, Ill give them that. Id still advise going elsewhere though.

I have not yet been disappointed with my services here. They offer excellent service and thus far, I have not experienced any problem related to the work that theyve done.

Great little local garage. Techs work efficiently, take all comers, know what theyre doing. Foreman and smog tech Henry is really good.

Professional stuff, but a problem you wait to long short working

It is impossible to even find a rep here... they dont tell you how long it will take or how much it will cost or communicate anything about whats going on with your car. was there for an hr and they looked at it for 10 min, did not find an issue, charged me $20 arbitrarily

I went to get my smog check at Golden Gate Auto Service station located on silver and san bruno. I didnt wait long he didnt charge me to much l paid $50. I was out of there about 20 minutes with everything done. I always go to them for my smog checks l like their service.

I felt my blood pressure boiling as they kept helping Chinese people who got here after me. I will never come back ever again. 😠

I went there to get a smog and one of the men told me take 10 minutes and he will do my smog right away so another lady came and they helped her immediately and I was waiting for at least 10 to 15 minutes so I told him that its okay and I left.. bad business. yeah it was a white lady that they helped 1st. Smh
