I took the car to Oscar at California auto early Saturday morning and Oscar was so helpful! He called me within an hour, told me what was up, and even offered to show me exactly what was wrong and how he was going to fix it.Its obvious his shop and his customers are important to him and the whole team puts in extra effort to double check everything. They set you up so that you really feel comfortable that your car is fixed and by the end of the day on Saturday my car was ready to go.

After my check engine light came on and checking my oil- I bumped an engine coolant line and wouldnt you know it- I broke the stem off the top of my radiator!! Oh no! After getting several quotes around the neib- I called Das Auto and spoke with Oscar (owner). Very reasonable estimate given, repaired my car in a day. He also found the original problem- and fixed the oil leak. It was an old Mazda not with much so I had concern the price to fix would be worth it. It was. Oscar and Quan do an excellent job, guarantee their work, reasonable cost. I found my new mechanics. Highly recommend them.

I cannot recommend CA Auto Repair and Lincolns services enough- he is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and wonderful customer service! On the spot, Lincoln was able to recommend reliable parts and brands, how we should approach my repairs, and more. He is an honest, good man, and its comforting to know that there are people like that nowadays.

Lincoln price gauged and has poor interpersonal skills. He truly is an unethical mechanic and will take advantage from you if you don’t confront him. Ladies beware! Don’t do business with Lincoln!!! Even though this shop wasnt able to take us on the day we needed it, they diagnosed our problem, helped us find a towing company, and periodically checked on us while we sat broken down on the road outside waiting for the tow. Very helpful and kind!

Honest mechanic - A+

I started going here on a whim a few years ago when I had a fuel pump go out on me, Lincolns shop is close to me and in the neighborhood. Turns out hes the best mechanic Ive found in the city thus far. Hes fast and thorough while still working with my budget. Most recently I dropped a car off with him to get some electrical work done as well as have a check engine light addressed and have new head lights installed. Not only did he do all of that but he also replaced a bunch of missing pieces that held my bumper in place. I told him Id like to stay under $1000 for the repairs and he was able to keep it to $425. If your looking for an honest and transparent mechanic this is youre guy! I know so many people are afraid of mechanics who take advantage of their clientel and price gauge but this is not something you need to worry about here. I cant recommend California auto repair enough.

Lincoln is awesome--competent, courteous, attentive, trustworthy, and willing to take the time to listen. Ive taken my car to him a few times, and mostly Ive ended up doing the work myself (after hes helped me with the diagnosis). Most car shop owners hate people like me because I dont pay them to do the more pricey work. Lincoln has simply been pleasant and helpful the entire time. When I cant do the work myself, Lincoln will be the first person I take my car to.Also, the 3-star rating--it sounds like they had a great experience yet still chose to give just 3 stars. Go figure. Lincoln has been nothing but professional, courteous, and honest with me. That deserves 5 stars, especially given the reputation of auto mechanics.

My sister in laws car broke down at the gas station across the street. The guy there wanted $1,000 to replace her radiator. We walked across the street where we happened to find California Auto Repair and Lincoln replaced the radiator for $450. He was kind, helpful, competent and charged a fair price for the work. We feel lucky to have found him.

Lincoln is a low key, responsible, intelligent guy. Ive taken my car here for a tuneup, to fix some slight body damage (oops), and to have my brakes done. No complaints to report, just that everything went well and he was easy to work with, on time, and there we no surprises.

I have been using this shop for several years, and the owner Lincoln gives honest assessment of the problem, get my car fixed in promised time. Reasonable charge.
