I could go on and on!!I read the amazing reviews of B&W Service Center and I live close by so I decided to take my car in to get a safety check. Ive had my 2000 Honda CRV for about a year now and hadnt gotten it checked out since I purchased it from a used car dealership.I made an appointment and dropped my car off, super easy. They called me within a few hours with a list of things that should be replaced/fixed. They kindly emailed me with the list and the estimate of each service.I admittedly dont know much about cars but called them back and said I could spend $1500 on repairs and asked them to prioritize the most important (safety) items.They cut me a deal and did some smaller things for free and completed ALL of the necessary safety services/tune up within my budget and my car was ready to be picked up THE NEXT DAY. I was floored at the quality of service and speed.A week after I took my car in, my radiator cracked and I had to get it towed late at night. I called B&W the next day to ask if they had checked out the radiator when they did the tune up. They of course had and said it wasnt cracked/looked good when it was in the shop with them. They said they could check it out for me if I got it towed over there.I was bummed at the prospect of spending an additional $600-$1200 on a new radiator but I needed my car because I was showing a friend around town for the week and then roadtripping to LA with them over the weekend.B&W called me back shortly and said they had already ordered a new radiator for my car and that they would just take care of it for me. I was again floored by their customer service and care for a new patron.They did the radiator for free and I was able to pick my car up at the end of the day.My car made it all 766 miles to LA and back without ANY issues, in the heat and all :) I will not be taking my car anywhere else for servicing. Thank you SO much to everyone at B&W!!

Its such a great Mission institution. They are thorough and precise. Its not the cheapest place around but they have always kept my car running.You can always rely on the time they tell you they will have the car back and are excellent at communicating any issues.

I had a great experience at B&W. They were able to fit me in and align the wheels on my truck. The last place I brought my truck stripped one of the lug nuts on my wheel, B&W were able to order the parts and fix it while I was waiting on my alignment. Great service.

Ive been in SF for over 40 years and this was the best car repair experience I ever had. They agreed to take my car within 24 hours of calling them. They identified the problem and repaired it and didnt charge me a dime, saying it wasnt difficult to fix. Im still a bit shocked. Thanks again B&W!

Brought in my Jeep Commander to fix my AC. Upsold me some brakes fix alongwith the AC problem. For the AC they did not fix the pipe that had clear evidence of leak (mind you this was hard to fix since its under the car alongwith other components so needed a quite a bit of taking off of parts) and instead changed some random pipe under the hood. They charged me around 500 bucks for it so I thought they changed the former part instead of the latter. But they didn’t. The AC worked out of the shop since it was brimming with new coolant but driving it for a day leaked out the entire coolant from the leaking part under the car. Got upsold for 500 bucks for those rear brakes mentioned before as well (which i agree was my choice) but still what a waste of 1000 bucks. Please be aware.

These guys were amazing. Ive been having difficulty getting the emissions sensors on my Honda Fit to reset after having let the battery die for an extended period during the COVID epidemic. They were kind, helpful, generous with information and advice, and quickly got my car in and out of the shop. Not sure if the problem has been resolved yet, because they gave me a set of steps to try that should allow me to remedy the situation myself--how cool is that? -- I will definitely be back for routine servicing. Very happy to have found a new home for my cars servicing and repair needs.

I came to B&W with a potential brake issue and they were super helpful. Ended up that I needed front brake pads, and rear pads+rotors. They also were able to tighten the e-brake as well as threw in a brake light fix. I liked the work so much and the interactions that I had them put some new tires on and align the wheels. I highly recommend this shop. They were speedy, the work was done well and they are great communicators.

Darren and his staff did a great job getting my old MG Midget drivable. It took a lot of work finding and installing old school parts. Ill definitely be going back to them.

I highly recommend bringing your car here for any mechanical needs. My 07 xc90 Volvo needed general maintenance (replacing hoses, trans. flush, new vacuum pump and coolant reservoir; just hit 200k miles!). My old mechanic retired and was looking for a new one. I had 2 estimates done (one was outrageously overpriced, and the other shop didnt seem to care about my needs) and wasnt happy with either of them. I emailed B&W and they got back to me the next morning with an honest and fair estimates. I had the work done the next day! Its a great feeling knowing I can trust a shop in the city that doesnt break the bank! Theyre also very friendly!

The last place where I took my Volvo v40 had made a few sloppy errors while fixing a radiator hose that resulted in my car leaking coolant and oil (sorry SF!). B&W managed to quickly diagnose and fix the problem(s), kept me in the loop throughout, and charged a fair price. Good stuff.

Great service! I came for a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) they said its gonna be $165 and 1.5-2hours. They called me in an hour and said the car was ready for pickup. They also said they will charge me much less than they planned because they ended up spending less time than they thought.Awesome service, great price. I highly recommend them.

I cant say enough great things about Brake and Wheel Service Ctr. as they are very professional and competent at what they do. They have an uncanny ability to NOT make you feel like just another customer. B&W is fantastic. They have exceptional service and they wrote the book on reasonable pricing. I just had a brake lamp replaced and the charge was $14 - that’s the price of the part without some $100 minimum service charge. They are truly on your side.

I was having an issue with my check engine light, and while it persisted, I dropped it off multiple times and they would take care of it and didnt even charge me for the extra work. Very helpful.

B&W is staffed by friendly people who love cars. They make you feel comfortable and will tell you if they see a problem, but dont get aggressive about up-selling you, like some other places I wont mention here. From my experience, theyre the best place in the area to have your car worked on, or just to get an oil change. Plus, they always have some cool old cars in the shop. Highly recommended.

Ive been bringing in my own car and my former company cars (while I was working there) for more than 10 years. The owners and staff have always provided me with excellent service, advice, and current sports and car stories for all that time (who knew that most tires are made outside the U.S.?). The shop is across town but my confidence in Bill, Wayne, and the staff is worth the trip. Plus, its a good indicator of weather change to see Bill always wearing his shorts but putting on a light jacket when the temperature drops during the Mission cold season.

Ive been going to B&W for about 9 years now. They provide great service at fair prices. Ive had several experiences now where Ive brought in my car and they didnt charge me for service because it was something minor. I had an issue with my brakes that I had to come in a couple times for and they kept working on it until it was fixed right with no extra charges. They are responsive and friendly and have kept my 96 Toyota running well past its normal life. I trust that they will only fix whats necessary and do a good job with it.

By far the best mechanics in the city! Ive been using their services for the past three years and have been super happy. They are fair and super honest. I will never go to a different mechanic in the Bay Area again. Im not normally compelled to rate businesses but these guys really deserve it. 5 stars.

Super nice guys...though I had a bit of sticker shock! $140/hr for labor. They didnt give me a breakdown of the work estimate, I trusted them, but was expecting the $120/hr I had paid last I was in in Feb. Also, this is the second time theyve done work on one of my vehicles, before actually getting my approval. I know youre doing what you feel is best for me, or what you feel I would approve, but it would feel better if you followed the appropriate protocol, as the Estimate approvals on my form are not what I was told on the phone. Again, super nice guys, I trust them, but please make sure you get approval for your work first and that the numbers are what you quote.

I have been a happy and loyal patron of B&W for over 15 years. I trust Bill and Wayne to diagnose the issues, fix them, and give honest advise. I have never felt pressured to have work done; I have always been given their real diagnosis and the work that needed to be done gets done in a timely and professional manner. They will even tell me when a repair or issue can wait and offer money saving options. In the mechanic world, it is extremely hard to find decent and honest people, and I am happy to say I have found that very shop. Their entire staff are kind and curtious, and you never feel like a bother to them. All three of my children and my wife take their cars there, knowing they are getting quality work, no unnecessary BS, and (most importantly) coming home with a safe car... In this day and age of terrible customer service, B&W knows true family business integrity, honesty, and dedication.....The way most businesses used to be. 5 stars without a doubt.

This was my first visit to B&W as I recently moved to the neighborhood. After searching online for a reputable shop, I found B&W. Their clear focus on providing an easy experience to schedule an appointment online was a big plus and the very positive reviews from customers had me sold.I brought my car in at 715am and they were ready and waiting for me. Had a sound coming from under the car. Took it to B&W in the morning. Charged me $120 to inspect it. Happens to be a rock or a nut in the exhaust/catalytic converter portion on the passenger side (Firebirds have two catalytic converters).He tells me I need to replace both the converters, and calls up the parts dealer and tells me they cost about $700 each. I check the part cost online on my phone and find that these converters for a 2002 firebird cost anywhere from $70 to $300 (depending on just a part or the whole kit), not $700 each.So, I paid him $120 for labor, all he did was raise the car on a lift and hit the bottom to figure out what was making the noise. He didnt open the exhaust/converter (which would have taken him all but 15 mins to do), he didnt offer to remove the nut or rock or whatever was clanking inside. Charged me a full hour of labor for raising a car on a lift and hitting the bottom?Definitely not a place I will ever goto again.

My 03 ss silverado truck through a couple codes that onstar identified for me.... took it to b&w they hooked it up cleared the codes and tried recreate the problem gave it back only charged me half the quoated price because no problems showed up still no problems and over a 1000 miles since!

My wife went there with a 2016 Nissan, and she needed to replaced the front pads, they told her, she needed a front and rear complete Brake job, so she did, they charged her $960.00, they told her that she needed to Replaced the tires and she needed new shocks. This Shop is there to still money from you, and lie to you about the work that it needs to be done. Trust me
