Not recommending this location for your car service. I have Benz SUV bought from SF Benz dealer couple years before. Since car has couple issues needed to be checked and repaired, I called service center 2 weeks before my appointment. Through the phone call for setting an appointment, I told them my car have 2 or 3 issues need to be checked and my car is probably not in warranty. The customer also checked the system and found my car information. She confirmed all information I provided. She said diagnosis is $250. I told her I need to check 2 or 3 items of my car,” will it be still $250?”. The lady didn’t answer my question, “ yes one diagnosis is $250”. Then I asked can I get courtesy car for driving back even though my car has been purchased years ago?, She said,” yes, we can have loan/courtesy for you on appointment day”. Then we set up appointment. On appointment day, I went to the service center at Folsom st, the staff lady said” 3 items diagnosis is $650 and there is no courtesy car for you since your car is over 5years after purchase.” It is ridiculous and got me frustrated. They didn’t mention it on the phone and also the lady confirm the price for diagnosis. They also said they would provide courtesy car for me. If you can not do what you said, please do what you only can do. Don’t even trick customer. Be honest and professional. Will not go this place for my car next time. Google friend, Better to choose another dealers for your car.
My G-550 was recalled as the back seat latches could fail. I made an appointment to drop it off, about a two week waiting period. The day after I dropped it off, they called stating someone stole my car keys and that I had to bring to them my spare key. They did not offer to come to me to get the key. They didn’t really seem to care much about it. I was dismissed by the manager (I guess that was his title he never disclosed to me his position.). He didn’t seem to care either. The key chain, which I was told to leave in my car, had my recently deceased pets ID on it. It meant a lot to me. It also contained my address and phone number. The manager told me, “It’s your fault for having your address on your keys.” He told me that I was to blame. This is the second MB I’ve owned. I can’t express what a huge disappointment this dealer is. I don’t think anyone cared and they all just seemed to avoid me. I can’t in good conscience recommend them at all. They did replace the keys and lock. I’ll add that I mentioned the thief has my address and will probably come to my house to see if the key works. The manager again said that was my fault.
I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so well at a car dealership. Their fulsome Street facility operates add an unbelievable high standard. Everything‘s like clockwork . Everything so organized and neat and clean you think they were building something for NASA :-) even the mechanics are friendly and frank my advisor looks like he could juggle 10 cars at once. Thank you all for your dedication
Always top notch service. A painless process from drop off to pick up.
Horribly busy and understaffed which makes the service advisor difficult to reach by phone. If you are a new Mercedes Benz owner, you wont learn very much here. The business has a new owner in 2021. They will be moving to a new location in South San Francisco. I hope I dont have to use this dealership for repairs going forward.
MR.Frank Lemus call us yesterday 1:30PM. And were told him pick up our car next few minutes. Im went to SF for pick up my car with 7 years old my daughter at 3:55 arrived. Theyre said wait minutes. But were wait until closed(4:45pm) My daughter is tired and she cold. She want sit somewhere but the are dont have anything. Im sit down on cold, dust and dirty floor then my daughter sit on my legs. Cars running next to us and around us many hazardous materials and oils. Also MR Frank forget us and gates closes down. That was Mercedes Benz service. My daughter now sick from yesterdays cold.
Unprofessional staff service/attitude. The whole crew should be sent to BMW Service for training.
Absolutely the worst customer service I can ever remember. I regret ever walking into that place. Yeah I did buy a car but only because I wanted that car they tried to rip me off first long story I wont get into it but just so you know. And after I bought the car the customer service was so unbelievably bad. Every aspect of it absolute worst people to deal with ever. Except for the receptionist lady at the desk when you first walk in she was very nice and polite. As for the rest of them lying manipulating conniving thieves I wouldnt send my worst enemy there.
Bought a used Smart car from them, it was fairly priced and the experience was easy. Ordered a spare key and that was also a good experience. Recommend them.
They take great care of you. Quick in and out
Had the worse experience here. Employees are terrible and no one cares to help!
$465 for a standard service is criminal. The associate notified that the car would be ready later in the day, the website says the service center closes at 6PM. I called at 5:45, closed. The staff didn’t notify me of new hours with COVID, and now we’re without a car over the weekend during a pandemic. I would not recommend this service center.
Absurdly poor value ... it qualifies for thievery! for my 2017 Metris they quoted $800 + taxes for an A service. That is an oil change + checking washer fluid + air tire pressure. The mechanic I went to charged $230 (including taxes) but he was not able to reset the service warning message. So I call Mercedes and they said: sure we could do it, just bring the receipt for the oil service. Brought the Metris in and it turns out they want $100 to reset the warning message. Another costumer jokingly said that it is the price of admission and suggested I look on the Web. Sure enough I found the instructions, and after 10 of clicking on the the front panel I was able to reset the warning message. So ... lets see ... if it takes me 10 it would take the mechanic who does it every day 1? 2? Lets say it takes 5. $100 for five minutes of work is $1200 an hour. Thievery indeed.
Worst mercedes service. Go somewhere else.
I give it 2 stars, since they are great when your car is under the normal 4 year / 48k mile Mercedes warranty. I was shocked to find out when it expired and the CPO kicked in, they want $250 to investigate any issues. So if you have some kind of error code, then $250 makes sense. If you dont and an issue is intermittent, you pay the money for them to basically do a scan, say they found nothing, and then take a hike.My SA was pretty straight forward about this, which I appreciate. In general Id say if your car is out of the main manufacturer warranty, find a different place.
Very horrible, deceiving, and manipulative team of technicians who are in it just to make more money. Do not offer helpful solutions and will take advantage of you. They charge you a couple hundred dollars every time your car enters the shop and offer higher fees than any other technician and often do a worse job in my experience. Bad services
Very knowledgeable, and has a genuine concern for you and your vehicle. They solve any problem, and address any and all concerns. Quick service, and depending on your need for a vehicle along with some other information they will give you a loaner til they are able to give you your vehicle back. Or a courtesy shuttle/ride
I called in this morning to pick up my car after brining it in for service. Mr. Frank Lemus told me that my car will be ready by 2:30.I arrived at 2:30, but my car was not ready.I was told that in another ten, fifteen minutes it would be ready. But it was not. And then again I was told another ten fifteen minutes and so I ended up waiting over an hour. Since the waiting rooms was closed (because of Covid-19) I had to stand in service area waiting and waiting. You would think the manager at this point would notice a client waiting, he did not and did not apologize for the delay. In fact, I had to introduce myself to the manager and complained about the delay. He did not acknowledge my presence and was sitting in his chair without any sense of being concerned. With an indifferent tone he said he was sorry, but he was not interested to know about my situation and he did not know why I was waiting for. so I realized that my time being wasted talking to him and requested the the name of his superior. His name Isarmin Zipperle.Overall, a terrible customer service experience. I cannot believe this level of service from an official dealership/service station.
Had to get key made, bought my (hbb) honorable bucket benz, from my father who bought from original owner in the neighborhood. All involved honorable.
I went in to get a recalled airbag replaced for free, and they wanted $236 to reset the srs light first. That is literally just plugging in a scanner and hitting reset. As a result i declined the service so am driving around with a recalled airbag when resetting a dashboard warning light should be a courtesy if associated with a recall.
Great service and personal, a shout out to Frank, for having my back, thxs Frank!!!
Use for fleet service on our fleet of Merc. Sprinters. Great service. Love that they text you to keep you up to date with their progress. Thanks Frank Lemus and Jon Kearns for always taking care of our Auto-chlor Oakland Fleet.
Awesome people! I came in to service my Mercedes-Benz sprinter and the service manager Armin took personal care of me as if I was the most important person in his day. Then did everything he could to help me and save my money! What a pleasant surprise - a dealership that cares about you and saving your money.
They got it done
Great place
Great service, but buy Japanese! Way less costly to maintain.
Took my car here for a oil change fast great service and they wash it sweet!!!!
I own a honda civic.
Wonderful dealership good service and parts department.
Brought my C300 2009 for a SRS Recall Repair. They were awesome, super nice, got me an Uber to school and even gave me a free car wash! If I were living in SF, Id bring my benz here anytime.
I purchased a CPO CLS550 from MB of SF, the car was awesome but I realized there was a slight alignment issue, I called MB, Sebastian the Used Car Sales Manager took my call, had me bring in the car and fixed the issue for free even though it wasnt normally covered since it was used, dont mess around with a fly by night used car lot, when you buy Mercedes, go to the dealership for piece of mind!
These people fill their pockets by feeding off of clueless Mercedes owners. When scheduling my appointment I was quoted $491 for my first year service, which included all usual fluid level checks and top offs, oil & filter replacement, tire rotation, brake pad inspections, etc. Once arriving and sitting down for my appointment, my service advisor pressed a bunch of buttons on his computer and told me it would cost over $1000. I questioned the disparity from what I was originally quoted and he fired back immediately by belittling the incompetence of the people answering the phones. Arent you on the same team, guy? He told me he would help me out on the price because of this confusion, I asked if he could match the quote, and he said he would try his best. I called the service department again that afternoon, spoke with a different person, asked for another quote, and received the same service details and $491 price. The next day my vehicle is done and I come by to pick it up and pay. My quote was matched which made me happy, but I realize several detours were made to do so, including the lack of checking brake pads and rotation of the tires. Its difficult to trust a repair shop that inflates its prices to such a high degree, and skimps on its service when a Mercedes owner comes in asking for the quoted price. I just spent nearly $500 for someone to check and replace my fluid levels and oil filter.
Why the hell it says open on Saturday and it’s not. I came all the way from mill valley to pick up my car and I run into a close doors. Terrible.
They were rude I was lost and the guy who work their said I do not have any money for you get a job
Dropped the van off at 4:30 pm on Thursday for a 7:30 reservation on Friday. Arrived at center at 10:30 on Friday and was told there was some confusion and the van wouldnt be done until 2 pm.No apologies, just a take it or leave it attitude.
Bad customer service, especially from Frank. The general environment is unfriendly, which unfortunately gives Mercedes a bad name.
Dont Drive
The service is way below my expectation in that service center. Felt more like the service you would get from an economy brand; they didnt care much about answering your questions or offering you the service expected from a major luxury brand. the waiting area is very small and has way less snacks and entertainment than Toyota and Honda service centers.
They suddenly stopped servicing sprinter vehicles that were distributed by dodge. These vehicles are 100% mercedes other than a dodge badge. Very frustrating as Ive been there several times without issue.
They take to long to fix the cars
Excellent service and attention.
Nice adviser, downtown location.
They are very disrespectful and they break my headlight I go to fix parking light bulb and they break the hall light
Great service
Fantastic service department
Easy access
I come here from time to time as my car could get finicky and the last time they were kind enough to rotate my tires without charge just for the fact they looked me up in their system and found that I do some sporadic maintenance.
Very professional
Best Service!!!
No Courtesy Shuttle.
Good
Always in stock
Very good service !!! 5 Stars
