This is my second autobody repair with Selecta and they were even better this time than last. Ive never been to an auto shop that is more professional, or communicative then these guys, and on top of that their service is top notch and well priced. Highly recommend this shop. Best in the Bay Area.

Through my insurance, this auto body shop was one of the options and I’m grateful I went to this one!My bumper needed to be replaced along with a replacement of the absorber and some brackets.I got a quote from one of their employees (I forgot his name). Prior to coming to this location, I actually got my car quoted at two other auto body shops. The price for Selecta Auto body was fair and I’m happy with the quality of work as well.The same person who gave me my quote, also helped when I dropped off/picked up my vehicle. Another person, Allison (I believe is the name) kept me up to date as well via email, text, and phone call during the process of my vehicle being fixed.My car looks great. I’m very happy with the services. I believe the fix was less than two days which I expected to be longer.What I am extra happy about is that I was able to be picked up from this location from enterprise and then was able to drop off my rental car at this auto body shop as well.The employees from selecta auto body shop made this a seamless process. From the owners down to the front desk clerks, Ive always been made to feel like a valued customer. Theyre trustworthy and honest and boy oh boy do they know their stuff. I believe JR Hubbard and his wife Jackie, the owners, set the tone. Theyre always polite, friendly and work hard to make sure you understand the work they did, why they did it, and that youre satisfied and happy before you leave the shop. Everyone who works there seems to follow their lead as the whole place has this vibe of a great place to work. Its certainly one of the best place in SF to take you car. And as long as theyre in business, its the only place Ill take my car.

Very good experience with Selecta. They worked well with the insurance company, and with the rental car company. They even cleaned up dings that I caused myself, at no extra cost. Job was finished early.

Odd having to add your local Auto Body shop into your phone contacts, but living in the city with my cars parked on the streets all the time necessitates it. There is no better place to take your car then this place. I have had 3 different cars worked on at Selecta on 4 different occasions. After this last experience I was telling some friends how awesome this place is and they told me I sounded like a commercial for Selecta. Well I work in service and operations so when I experience exceptional service I like to talk about it. JR, the guy who owns the place I think, is a class act. Very professional and thorough, going through all my options and working around my travel schedule. So I guess this is not technically a commercial for them, but it is the next best thing….. a big thumbs up review for them. Now I hope I never have to return, but I’ll keep their number locked in just in case!

I will be coming to Selecta.COVID note: Selecta has clear and thoughtful COVID protections in place and posted a video on their site that walks through the entire practice. Great shop for Auto Body work.Having your car in an accident can be a startling experience and Selecta Auto Body made me feel at home and safe with their excellent customer service and friendly attitude. I have had my car repaired and returned to have the car detailed. Both times I was happy with the experience.

I brought our Honda to this shop after an accident. They were incredibly efficient and friendly. They worked with my insurance company and helped me secure a rental car. It was so easy and probably the most professional experience I have had at a body shop...ever.They kept me updated on the repairs AND when they noticed something that was engine related (not part of the accident/ body damage) they called to alert me and then talked it through with my regular mechanic so that nothing was lost in translation.I actually called them for advice later when selling the car and they were incredibly helpful then as well...and I wasn’t even a current customer.This is the only place I’ll consider if I have to have body work again. Absolutely the best!

I’d been unfortunate or unlucky for the last two years of got rear ended twice. Thank God that I have known JR that actually own an auto body shop. They really take care of me, from vehicle inspection to filing a claim on my insurance and even reserving a car rental and calling an Uber. The staff are very professional and very thoughtful, a detailed estimate and estimated time of completion are very reasonable if not the best in the business. I fully recommend Selecta Auto Body and if ever (cross my finger not ) got an accident again to that shop for some peace of mind.

Romero did a fair estimate for a damaged back door with a scratch and dent. He gave me a cash discount and the car was ready in four and a half days. They did a great job and even painted the front door for free as a nice gesture (that was not part of the estimate.) I didnt use insurance and he gives a lower price for that. Id recommend this shop. I also shopped around and Romeros quote was fair.

This garage is top notch, the and very progressive and thinking about the environment. they have lots of plants inside to help with the dirty air and showed me the science behind it all. but beyond that they really take care of cars and enjoy working on them. they take pride win their workmanship and are real craftsman.

Had a weird accident where cables fell on the roof of my car and broke my sunroof window! Went to Selecta where everyone was so efficient and friendly. They drove me to pick up my rental car and my car came back like it was brand new! Cant thank the staff enough. Especially, Jackie, she treated me like FAMILY. I will always go and recommend them!

I had major damage to my car, I happily drove 2 1/2 hours from Sacramento to have my AAA claim handled by JR and this amazing team--Office staff is kind and so professional! The work was completed ahead of schedule and my car looked better after than before the incident! This is an exceptional shop and it shows from the moment you pull in. I hope that you never need them but as far as auto body work goes you probably won’t find better all around quality and customer service. Not at the same place anyways.

Unfortunately, living in San Francisco, I’ve needed autobody repair multiple times over the years. I’ve been using Selecta Auto Body since they had their shop on 24th street. They have always been professional, accommodating and made my 2007 Mazda look as new as possible. Their new location on Mission Street is really convenient and the staff make it a welcome experience instead of a chore one has to deal with.

I had Buddy repair a damaged wheel on my bmw 335i and he did a fantastic job, for a great price and you cant even tell wheel was ever repaired !! They were really professional and made customer service a priority. I will be back in the future and have recommended them to others.

By far the worst place to have work done. This place is very UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNORGANIZED. All the men that work at Selecta are pervs especially the manager JR all he did was look down my blouse. I was so unhappy with the work and the workers there. Do not go here a waste of time especially if your a women.

Worst experience ever. Me and my fiancé went to get our side view mirror replaced due to it being burned, Honda said it is not due to cheap parts. But when we went they seemed ok. Well for when we went to leave the deposit they took a really long time, it was as if we didnt exist. Then we left the car I believe for a few days because they never ordered the right part supposedly. When we got it back it was parked across the street somewhere then when I got our car back turns out there was a big dent on the door like if someone hit it with an impact gun. I noted it to the manager which I forgot his name honestly, he said right away oh that was already there. I assured him that that wasnt true so he said he was going to review the cameras and pictures. He said he would get back to me on the situation and then he said that the pictures do not show if it was there. I told him it must have been the one working on it because it was on the same side as the side view mirror. He never showed me any pictures or camera shots showing the car on that angle which honestly tells me they did it but are covering it up, probably deleted the evidence since he didnt show me anything right away, at all for that matter, never showed me anything. Plus, I work in the automotive industry too, you mean to tell me you didnt write down that there is a dent. I worked for Firestone and they make sure we write notes as many notes as possible for BAR and to cover for a customer that is reporting something happening to their vehicle you already have it documented. In what the owner says, its not a fair representation of what happened. No sir what was not fair is that you dented my door and I had to pay for it. Where were the notes and pictures that show it was already there. My insurance is garbage they did not want to take care of us. I honestly do not like allstate. Anyways, then he said that it might have been a bb pellet, but, if it happened out of their premises then it wasnt their responsibility. So 2 stories, first it was already there, then if it happened while with outside, which technically is still under their possession, its not their responsibility, well which one was it. Well it doesnt make sense that it is not their responsibility because its in their possession. Thats like if Im taking care of someones kid and they get hurt while they are under my watch, Im not going to tell the parents oh well they werent were I could see them so its not my responsibility. Of course its my responsibility. They did not own up to their responsibility. I took it to a different shop after. That is the last time I will ever go. The service was horrible and I had to pay again for more damages that happened while our car was with them. Go to Aliotos better. They are faster and much more trustworthy. They do not park cars outside like selecta did and they are more attentive and have far better communication skills with their jobs.

Went in to get my front bumper repaired from a hit and run,nothing major, just a dent and a few scratches. Went to go get my Montego and it looked as if I just got it off the lot, she was washed, vaccumed,wiped down,and front plates put on with a Selecta Auto body plate frame. In the 2 days they had my car they treated it well,serviced it above & beyond, and their customer service was nothing short of this as well...Thank you everyone yall did a tremendous job. I have found my go to autobody shop and greatly recommend this to be yours as well if you truly value your car.
