Stay away, absolutely the worst collision repair shop in SF. Took months to fix my car, lied about the fix and problem resurfaced after 2 months. Since the insurance claim is now closed I have no idea what to do. They never pickup any calls and ridiculously slow in replying to emails. This shop was suggested by my insurance provider so I ended up going there but if you would like to avoid any further complications I would suggest looking the other way.Only good thing is the manager Brian, he seems like a helpful guy if you can get to him.

Well after no calls back we turned on cameras and gps only to find out our car was stolen and has been stripped. We now need to report this to police and pursue legal matters against this body shop. Once they were reliable not anymore- seems to be an inside job.Thanks for wrecking my vehicle further and avoiding my calls.

Excellent work painting the rear bumper of my Porsche Macan. Shop is very organized, I even saw a couple of restoration paint jobs in progress. Brian took great care of me and my vehicle! Highly recommended for any cars.

Having my BMW repaired at German Motors Collision Center was an absolutely wonderful experience. They are lovely people and handled all paperwork effortlessly and efficiently. The repair quality is stunning as my car seems restored to a pristine condition. The car was tested fully and I cannot detect any damage. The paint quality is magnificent. What an excellent job. Unfortunately although I would like to keep using there services, that would require more accidents, and hopefully that won’t happen. But if your German car is damaged, I fully recommend GMCC to you.

My first visit was after my Toyota Carola was the recipient of some front end damage during my rush hour commute home from work. I was told by the other driver’s insurance policy that I could choose my own body repair shop, but German Motors must do the estimate. That went very smoothly and was well treated by GMP. The second visit was 1 1/2 years later when a driver ran into the rear end of the same car while it was parked in my driveway (he also did some damage to four other cars belonging to my neighbors parked on the street.) This time I decided, on the basis of the good experience with GMP to have them do the estimate and the work. The insurance company decided the repair costs were to steep and made an offer for the car as a total loss, which I accepted. The car, I assume, will be sold for parts.

The repair of my BMW was impeccable. The service was courteous, low-pressure, professional, and pleasant. They worked well with my insurance company on payment and to ensure reimbursement of BMW original parts. I had an optional windshield replacement, also with BMW parts and some cosmetic dings fixed. The work was to the penny of the estimate. The facility is spacious, comfortable, clean and professional. The repair areas were equally spacious and professional. The whole experience was pleasant and the outcome superb. I do not know what I would improve on.I noted some other reviews commented on the ownership and whether it is affiliated with BMW SF. It was, and isnt, and I couldnt care less. I would focus on the quality of the repair, the service, and the pricing. All three were excellent.

After a family snow trip to Lake Tahoe with a car filled with kids where we got stuck in a snow storm, you can imagine how my SUV looked.They did an EXCELLENT job detailing my car and restoring it to its original pre-trip beauty. I honestly didn’t even recognize my vehicle it was so nice and clean! Loved the job they did, so I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get their car cleaned or detailed! Thank you again!

I have gone to GMP twice now. They are the epitome of quality! they do excellent work! they do what they say they are going to do and when they say they will do it for the price they quoted. They expeditious and quality wrapped up in an excellent customer service bow!

This is a body shop that’s owned by BMW of San Francisco. Staff is friendly. It’s hard to find but google maps is accurate. It would be nice if they offered a shuttle to take you home.I would like to see more coffee/tea offerings or snacks, and magazines in the waiting area.Work was completed very professional and everything worked on my car as before I brought it in.Although my car did smell like paint for a few days after. I understand why, but rolling the windows down for a few hours, turning on ventilation, or offering an air freshener would be nice.

I had bodywork done last year and an Interior detail recently. Their work is phenomenal and prices are very reasonable. My car was filthy with dog hair and smell and hadnt had an interior cleaning in years. They had to take in for extra time because of it but did not charge me anything extra. People seem happy to work there and everyone is just really kind and professional.

Loved loved love their place cant wait to return. Food was excellent, beer and wine excellent,service was fast. Make reservations its packed standing room only. They will seat u with strangers but in the end it all works out. Great place to entertain. Very loud and bz. If u looking for quite dining and private this isnt it. I loved the whole experience. Also the street outside great for shopping and bar hopping. If u want real hot chocolate at the end of the block great great choice!

I wouldnt trust my car here. Terrible ownership. They cant pay vendors so they cant get customers vehicles back on the road. They no longer have any affiliation with the dealership. Recently they let go of a lot of long-term employees, so take your business elsewhere if you value quality work (and your vehicle).

I had two doors replaced on my BMW. I am very particular about my car, and was completely satisfied with the work done by GMP Cars - San Francisco. My car now looks better than before it was damaged. I would not hesitate to recommend GMP to others.

I never have needed to write a review until these guys, I am so displeased with how they put my car back together, not including the fact that they didnt put everything back together as it was before. They lost and didnt bother putting back covers or emblems attached to my car. My alignment is also not even centered! I will never go back here again and let others know of how bad this shop is.

My experience was at the Harrison St location, which has moved to this location. I wanted to make sure my review followed them to their new listing.I think that German Motors has a new loyal customer. From drop off to pick up, everyone involved was helpful and informative. April was amazing and thorough; she answered all my questions with a smile and she didnt make me feel rushed at all.When I picked up my FJ, it was shiny; they must have washed and waxed the entire vehicle, even the stock rims. That sort of finishing touch goes a very long way toward building a good customer relationship.The repair work was completed in about 2 weeks. It was my first accident (someone rear-ended me) so I cant really compare the repair time with any other experience, but it seemed reasonable to me.I had rented a car from Enterprise, which is around the corner on the next block. They have a discount set up with German Motors to take a percentage off the rental price (10% I think?) which is great. Enterprise also offers a discount through Progressive Insurance, which is a little more, so I went with that (since my claim/repairs were through Progressive). The entire process was simple; when I picked up my FJ, I didnt even have to bring the rental car back to Enterprise. German Motors handled it for me.All in all German Motors took what I thought was going to be a nightmare and made it easy and pleasant.

Decent auto body shop however they work for BMW and Cooper Mini. The service is fine although dont get on the wrong side of your insurance company with them, your life will be miserable. Aside from that have had work done on a couple occasions customer service is okay, not fabulous.

Bumper repair took over two weeks and I was constantly told Itll be ready tomorrow.Showed up on Monday after the weekend at 330 after I was told my car would be ready on Monday to be told to come back the next day.Save your time and anger and get your car repaired somewhere else.

I Had my Car damaged and recommended to be fixed by my Insurance Comp .. They Get PAID about 10000, which more expensive from others and And the CAR did not fixed well, STILL i need to Back again to the Body SHOP to fix .Please SHARE and Tell to all your friends again NOT to COME to this BODY shop .
