I went here because it was an approved repair shop via the insurance company of the person who hit my parked vehicle. They were friendly, courteous, helpful, prompt and communicative. I cannot comment on value since I didn’t pay for any services but the body work they did looks great and it is warrantied for the entire time I own the car which I think is awesome. I’d use them again!

My car has been there almost two weeks and I haven’t heard anything from them no update or anything. What’s the issue. I’m using this company through my insurance Geico who also has showed a lack of communication and professionalism. I definitely would not recommend anyone to go here through insurance or otherwise.

Chilton repaired the body damage to my BMW X2 promptly and at a fair price. It also helped that they worked with enterprise to make sure the rental car would be delivered and I could leave it there afterwards. I’ll be using them again if needed!

Someone backed into our driver side in the middle of the night and I couldnt open the door. By the time I got it back my car looked BRAND NEW ! They did an excellent job and EXCELLENT customer service is always a plus ! I cannot recommend this place enough !!

It’s always been difficult for me to find a trustworthy auto shop, but I finally found my perfect place!!! The whole side of my car was hit and scraped by a hit and run and I was so frustrated. I came here and Rolyn was so helpful, he explained everything and took me through all of the steps. He was honest and not only did they have a great, fair price but my car was done before they said it would be! This was so important as I couldn’t be without a car for so long since I have 3 children. This was a wonderful experience thank you all!

I took my car in for “express” service at the recommendation of my car insurance Geico. I’ll never do that again. They rushed my repairs, the clear coat is bleeding, they didn’t repair all the damaged areas of my car. I had to fight with them and call Geico to make them do it. Not only was the old guy up front rude but several times he was condescending. He actually said “ we fixed what you told us was damaged”. I didnt know that being in a collision made me an auto body expert. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this business. I drove my car half a mile and parked. When I tried to turn the car on to leave the area, BATTERY DRAINED. I’d give them 1 star but they did a good job cleaning the inside of my car. I’m sure everything has been tossed into the trunk.

I wish I could give them zero starsThey did not do a good job with my car from little things like putting the visors on backwards to installing the lift gate wrong which then caused more damage to the car. I will never take my car back there and I will never recommend this place to anyone

Stay away from this body shop! After my vehicle was rear ended Allstate recommended CARSTAR Chilton. They had my vehicle for over 3 months and when I got it back it was a complete mess. I had to take my vehicle to another shop where it cost an additional $20k to repair the work Chilton had done. Chilton lied and committed outright fraud! They charged the insurance company for new parts when they reused existing parts and returned my vehicle to me even though it was not safe to drive. Honestly, this place shouldnt even be in business anymore. Stay away!

The worst auto repair experience of my life. This shop is colluding with insurance companies to screw their customers. They lied to me several times. They sent me on the road with a dangerous unrepaired car. The work they did was extremely poor. Their attention to detail was terrible. They had my car for way longer than promised. After they said my car was ready I returned to find parts missing from my car, a brand new door had dents in it, random color paint smudges and fingerprints in the new paint on the new door, misaligned handles and locks on the new door, and missing trim. I had to argue with them at length to admit all of those faults. I left the car with them and returned again when they said it was ready, almost nothing was fixed. I left it with them again and returned later still to find many problems unchanged. They eventually agreed to pay me a very low amount for the work unfinished and I took the car to another shop. The new shop showed me that the frame of the car was substantially damaged and needed repair to make the car safe to use again. Chilton specifically said this damage was cosmetic and did not need repair. This lack of repair could have let to a fatal accident on the road. There are many other good shops, dont risk your life with these shady people.

My experience was very good with Chilton San Francisco. My car was grazed on the side and they fixed it with in 3 days. They were friendly, accomodating, and were very professional. Because my auto insurance worked directly with Chilton, they were able to take my car in the same day I called them. They also had a rental car agent/office on premise which was very convenient and I got a rental the same day I dropped off my vehicle . The repairs were great and my car looks showroom new! Kevin in particular was very helpful. Thank you Chilton!

They were terrible at properly communicating when my car would be finished. Changed the date 3 times but only after I had to call each time to follow up with them. Then when I did pick up my car they gave me back with a blown taillight.

I got my car fixed here after a minor fender bender. They had good communication, were very friendly and thorough in the car fixing and setting me up with a rental car. They also did the fix very quickly.

They were friendly and easy to work with and dealt directly with my car insurance company. They did fantastic work on installing/painting a new car door and finished the job two days earlier than quoted.

We were given a 11:30 arrival time, they were here by 11:05! Courteous, knowledgeable, and professional! Within 30 min we were on our way! What more can you ask for.

In town from Washington State. Had my Drivers Side Window Regulator give out, meaning my window wouldnt budge. I called at 6:58 (Site says they open at 0700), and had Rollyn, the Manager, answer the phone...Long story short, picked up my vehicle a couple of hours later, with a new motor, a clean vehicle, and for $50 bucks less than hed estimated that morning...Highly recommend!

Took a month to repair my car, used recycled parts(read scrap yard). I asked about it and they said it was common practice for them. Not great communications. Car looks OK and works OK but front fender still damaged, said it was a separate incident....... There are better places in the city.

Since I have an accident last April 5 2016 . The next day they towed our car because of a lot of fluids leaking and the whole bumper came out. Since they fixed our car the issue is the bumper is ripped. Chilton autobodyshop broke my power switch to my window and they dont want to fixed what they broke. Since they fixed our car the headlight its a lot of moisture and since the part of the collision damage because of the impact my windshield tank is damage they did not replace the part of the collision . And. Our bumper doesnt match the paint to our car . This shop supposed to fixed the bumper . Since they fixed our car a lot of issues because what they did . This shop is very lousy job to our car. I will not recommend this shop this shopage is not professional service . And since they fix our car they broke our headlight and power switch and they used our amplifier for our car . They touch things to our car .

I passed by and my car is parked away from the workshop at 5 am and put it at 5:30 pm, grabs work and cars spend all day on the street and away from the place, it is not correct

Bad experience, my car got in april 3rd two weeks ago. They ask me to pick it up 2 days after. Looked at the and the bumper was not aligned well, they also try to get away with a broken part in it. Now my car is still in shop, got called back at shop to pick up the car and the bumper Nd quarter panel are not aligned again.

Somebody hit me twice two different people help me right away easy to get appointment. Polite staff.
