Fair prices, I go there ever other monday morning, at night the taco truck customers overfill the parking lot on weekends, thats the only backdraw

I love to go to the meat department they have some good meat and they sell chicharrones and tacos.

The vegetables are the best same with the fruit section. I only went for some vegetables but I was amazed with the presentation outstanding someone took alot of pride in their arrangements. Didnt care for the parking lot but the store showed alot of pride good job I will definitely go again.

Even in these crazy times, the staff is always on the job. They try to keep the shelves well stocked, and are always friendly and helpful. Because we are seniors with pre-existing conditions, we only go once a month at 6 a.m., but we still get the same great service every time. Thanks to all of crew for just showing up!

Stock is old.. The salmon needs to be regulated better.. stop dying it pink I got so sick last night.. I also bought some furry tomatoes didn’t realize bc the fuzz was at the bottom.

I can, 99% of the time find what I need. The grocery prices are fantastic and comparable to what you would find in other regular grocery stores. They have a large selection of items, even favorites that I cant find anywhere else because of the packaging and amount offered. The prices for their fresh produce is all-around higher than other stores but I just buy my groceries at Smart and Final and my produce at another, cheaper store. But the savings I get is worth the minor inconvenience. They also have knowledgeable friendly staff who always show you directly to the product you need.The manager, Manny, is a sweetheart and maintains a neat, clean and always efficient store. Its always a pleasure to shop this location at the San Fernando Mall.

I was relief to see that they do have SAFETY measures for their customers. They only have one entrance open, and they are providing sanitizer as you walk in.Inside is very organized with clear markings to enforce SOCIAL DISTANCE. Only one line for check out, they call you when Cashier is available!!!! Thank You for helping us stay SAFE and helping us navigate through this new normality.

This place used to be the boys market & California donut back when I was a kid ! It was damaged during the earthquake of 1971 yes I survived the earthquake as I have told my adult kids this pandemic is your earthquake ! I remember I was living in SYLMAR and attending olive vista Jr high at the time I am now 65 and retired living in the Mojave desert .

What an improvement!This Smart and Final is placed really well for convenience and access to other necessary convenient stores( Wal Greens, fast food, Italian,Mexican restaurants, bakery) just to name a few!The local area is rough around the edges and not very inviting to the eye. Smart and Final have made great improvements Ive noticed since a year ago and considering the pressure due to Covid 19 pandemic, theyre actions to preventing the spread of the virus is ok.Theyd learn a lot and improve from larger stores such as Costco and Americas tire concerning the safety measures. Those two stores still today are vigilant and have not fallen to complacency as time goes on.I appreciate the selection, customer service and all around cool vibe from the Smart and Final 👌 team.A shout out to the shoppers there, lets do our part and help the Smart and Final employees keep that store pleasant to shop . As a society lets do OUR PART to slow the spread by wearing masks, distancing and washing or hand sanitizing for out communities well being!Dont you want things to get back to normal? Sports, concerts, movies, private parties, restaurants etc...I wish love, life and happiness to you all!!

Since Ive been coming to Smart and Final, wont go back to any other store. The employees are all so courteous and kind. I know them all by name. Even when I first walked in they greeted you. Very helpful in what I need, when I cant find it. Reminds me of the old days when it was like that. The produce department always well stocked and clean. If I could give them 10 stars they got it. I would like to acknowledge some of your employees there but Im not sure if that is allowed. Im actually going there this morning to get some coffee. I recommend that you have on the spot commendations where you can write about someone. I wont be going to any other store. Smart and Final in San Fernando is the best the prices are better than any other store close by and they bag your food. This is my favorite store!!!!!

Here on 4th of July. The lines were long, but the staff and cashiers were all presenting happy, cheerful demeanour. Store always has the freshest produce around and great prices.

The shelves were fully stocked, isles were clear, store was very Clean & employees greeted you w/a 😀.

I pre ordered some tri-tip for my birthday and somehow they got it all wrong. Then add long as we were there bought some other stuff for which we were overcharged and had to go back to get a refund. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because they fixed the overcharge.

I purchased 30 items specifically food items and surprisingly only spent $150. Unfortunately there are a lot of rude customers today and usually at a place like Smart & Final where you buy things in bulk we usually see more families but this location is for busy bodies
