Its always fun to walk around a real hardware store and not a big box one.Well staffed with people eager to help but will also leave you to yourself.Although I wasnt looking for anything in particular, it seems well stocked.Looking forward to my next visit.

Restoring a 1947 Craftsman Benchsaw. Ace had so many odd bolts, springs, pins and parts I couldnt name. MICHELLE helped me find them all with the greatest of ease as well as comic relief. Ya just cant get that service at Home Depot.

This is the best hardware store in the area. Their customer service is second to none. Regardless of who you talk to in the store, they always take their time to make sure you get what you need, and they answer all questions thoroughly. There is an Ace Hardware approximately 4 minutes away from where I live. However, I continue to go to ACE hardware store in San Dimas because they always have what I need. I highly recommend this business.

Had no idea how big this place was! The customer service is fantastic. Classic gumball machine got to love it. All the treager products my heart desires! Did I mention excellent customer service? Because they definitely have that.

They carry a lot of fix÷it essentisls plus quite a few hard to find items like replacment flashlight bulbs, kitchen gadgets, galvanized troughs for livestock, buckets, old fashioned hard candies, drawer pulls, etc.

Small and incredibly friendly. It was a blast to the past with items that are frequently needed around the house.

Cld to make sure they carried Silica sand, for above the ground pool. Was told they did. I went in, had to lug the 50 lb bag on a cart myself. Was told they were short handed, which I observed was not the case, there was a emp walking around not helping anyone, saw me but did not assist. Poor guest service.

This place is close and it has many things for the home and repairs...the staff are nice most visits. They more people friendly than most businesses nearby

At a time when the world seems to be so blek, we had a ray of sunshine today. I have to say this is one of the best hardware stores/stores period Ive been to. Everyone is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We went in today to pick up a small artificial Christmas tree and was extremely satisfied with all the help we got. Im sorry to say I didnt get the young mans name but he was so very helpful from the minute we walked in. I would recommend this store for any of your household needs. And the best part of all, he said, Have a Merry Christmas as we left.

Not friendly, even when paying the little old lady in the front did not even look at me. No smiles, I said thank you and she turned around and started talking to someone else. Felt a bit like a race thing so I was uncomfortable in the store. Only stopped by because my son needed something for his project. This place is bigger than it looks. SMALL STORE BUT HAS MOST HOUSE HOLD TOOLS AND SUPPLIES. THE REPS THAT ANSWER THE PHONE WILL OFTEN TIME LEAVE U ON HOLD OR APPEAR TO NO WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO LOCATE ITEMS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. THIS STORE PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING. THE LINE NORMALLY MOVES FAST. IVE SHOPPED HERE FOR TWENTY YEARS. I DO RECOMMEND MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO SHOP HERE. NOT PERFECT BUT RELIABLE AND SAFE.

Im a big box stores guy or at least I was. This place has a tiny footprint yet has all the supplies needed to get my jobs done. They are surprisingly cheaper for a lot of things. The workers look for you instead of hide from you. I cant say enough good things.

Old Time Hardware store on the main street in downtown San Dimas. Nice helpful folks. Reminds me of the old days before the big box stores ran the little guys out of business. Support your local businesses!

This place gives you excellent service and provides its customers with a small town store hospitality. They have good selection of products from plumbing to canning. The Ace brand also has a lifetime warranty, which they actually stand behind. And Ace Hardware is a COOPERATIVE OWNED business, which is always a plus!

This is as close to an old-fashioned hardware store as youre ever going to find. They have an amazing variety of sometimes obscure items that the big box stores dont have. How they pack all that stuff in such a relatively small space is beyond me! Fascinating finds. Super helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable staff. We love going there. Oh, and theres always free popcorn on the weekends!

I was looking for trash cans and boy this place has them. Not only did they have what I was looking for but they were very friendly about helping me choose which would be a good fit for my needs. They carried them to the counter for me, suggested bags that would work for the can I choose and did it all with a smile. 5 stars for friendliness, cleanliness of location and level of help I received.

San Dimas Ace Hardware staff is excellent. They perfectly re-cut and threaded the gas pipe I needed. They always have the things I need to get the job done.

S.D. Ace Hardware is always friendly, polite, professional and helpful. They take the time to be very one on one. They usually have the answer to my questions but if the clerk didnt know he will ask another experienced clerk. I have even had them refer me to another shop if they cant help me. I live in an older home from the 70 S so often I can find replacement fixtures for my home here that the larger home improvement stores dont carry.

Ive always found what Ive been looking for at Ace Hardware of San Dimas! My visit today was no exception, though I thought this time, they probably wont have the special part I need - a spring for a guest house shower multi- soap dispenser. Well, we found one at Aces of San Dimas! Saved us a time not having to rip out the old dispenser, and saved us money and time not having to buy and install a new one! The staff there are all friendly and very knowledgeable, and they know where every thing is in their extensively stocked store!

San Dimas Ace Hardware is awesome!!!!! I would give them six stars if I could. Im there two to three times a week. When I walk in somebody always greets you and is willing to help. Home Depot and Lowes you need to follow San Dimas Ace hardwares lead. Customer service is second to none.

Best place to buy fix it items for your home improvements. Smaller store, they have everything you need. The staff is so helpful when you have a question..The prices can be a little high at times. Great building. So much fun inside.

Always get good advice on how to do projects Ive never done before. Staff is very helpful in finding what I need. Never wast time wondering around unlike in the big box stores. Most staff have worked there for years and know their stuff. Rewards program is good too.

This is that type of old school hardware store that has everything, has super nice people, and can get you anything if they dont have it. During Christmas they have a lot of decorations and lights, and during 4th of July they have flags aplenty!
