This place is amazing! Fresh pastries, cookies,.. we came for the Butter Burger Special! The most delicious double burger, bbq sauce, bacon, cheese, blue cheese, fresh herb lettuce… my mouth is watering again. Order the tater tots they are to die for! Ordered the iced tea… slight fruity hint possible a tropical passion… yum yum yum Brought 1/2 of it home😊 used to live near by is how I know… now you know 10 of 10 👍
Okay any time I want a quick and casual but gourmet breakfast or lunch, this is the first place I think of. Sweet or savory, this place has something for everyone! Tiramisu waffle and avocado toast are TO DIE FOR. Best avocado toast in the entire world. They make the toast like a battered savory french toast type of thing and it makes the textures and flavors PERFECT. Its like next to impossible for me to NOT get the avocado toast now even though everything else there is so good too. Pastries are a mix of classic and unique flavors with incredible texture - super high-quality - and be on the look out for seasonal ones!
Neat little place. The outdoor seating feels like a picnic at the park. Food was good, but not enough to bring me back. The food had nice flavors, but felt like it was just slapped together, and was incomplete. My significant other orders the Chicken Artichoke sandwich, and I ordered the Turkey Bacon Avocado. The chicken artichoke and spinach got its flavors from the peppers, but was otherwise plain. The fries had more flavor. My turkey bacon avocado was what you expect flavor wise. However, the assembly of the sandwich could use a change in bread choice. The turkey patty and bacon are rectangular, while the bun and toppings are circular. Eating the sandwich was rather messy, and ruined the experience if eating. The tots as a side saved the sandwich.Maybe their breakfast menu are their heavy hitters. Unfortunately, Im not interested enough to venture back out and try.
Super size portions, great food and service. Gets crowded, get there early. Indoor/outdoor dining.
Had a hankering for biscuits and gravy and Norms Hangar was closed on Monday. Checked out Google review and Butter Cafe highlighted biscuits and gravy as one of their specialties. Asked if I could order them a la carte without the eggs, potatoes and bacon and they said no only with a meal. Inexplicable as biscuits and gravies are on a la card on nearly every breakfast place Ive ever been to. Good enough if biscuits and gravy were their specialty. Well there was barely any gravy over the biscuits. It was a meatless gravy which was unexpected but okay cuz it had an interesting sweet cream flavor. I could taste the biscuits--they were going to be great without the gravy but couldnt be rescued even to put butter and jam on them because they fell apart. It would have been a perfect biscuit but with the skimpy amount of gravy it was basically inedible. Bacon was good the tater tots were good.. the eggs were well eggs. Huge disappointment. Was going to eat there but the inside of the restaurants acoustic noise level was excruciatingly loud. Could have opted for the patio but took it to go. Wish I hadnt because I could have gone back and asked for them to put the right amount of gravy on the biscuits.
Superb food. Excellent service. Phenomenally clean environment. Ate here every day when in town. Cant wait to return.
Butter was delicious. I had the breakfast sandwich with tater tots and a London dog tea. The sandwich was perfect the bacon was crispy, the brioche was fluffy and paired perfectly with the egg. The tater tots were fried perfectly and the London dog tea was light and not too sweet. Will definitely be going back.
Delicious food and drinks at a great value. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu, tons of flavor and large portions.
I like the atmosphere here, but I dont like that none of their display cases of food were covered. You could see the server waving off the flies and thats just not an appetizing sight. Id skip the impossible burger and the fish tacos were just okay. The fish was crispy, but it was missing the flavor.
Always go for take out. Buy muffins, pastries, and bread. Their iced tea is great. Love the tater tots as a side.
Breakfast is delicious! Staff are all very kind. Great customer service. Try for a weekday because it gets pretty packed on the weekend but either way, worth the wait. The breakfast potatoes are so yummy and the French toast is great!
Location is nice, very clean, staff are helpful and get orders together quickly. Bacon is great, eggs are fine. Biscuits are awful. Biscuits are not supposed to be crunchy, these biscuits are more like scones than biscuits, on the heavy side, not light at all. And the gravy, fairly certain this is from a mix. Which is a bummer overall as I had figured a bakery might have outstanding biscuits, other baked items are very good. (Imagine they overwork the dough, and use the same flour for everything (need self rising, I know might have some objections to it entering the kitchen, though similarly if you want great oranges - you must fertilize the tree with steer manure, sometimes great things require things that aint so great), taste okay, but with the gravy, super icky, which is odd because this is supposed to be a popular item. Mind you, from So. Cal, so not the expert on biscuits and gravy (southern dish, a staple breakfast item, made with easily obtained ingredients), but I have had amazing biscuits and gravy and these are icky. (Did I mention crunchy? Bleh) May return for other items in future, french toast is great and breakfast sandwich is really good (great job on those buns). Lots of parking, easy to get to. Parking, entrance, and counter all accessible.
Service was professional. Wait wasnt too bad for being really busy at 11 am. Only issue, the eggs were cold while the toast and potatoes were warm for some reason. Other than that would recommend this place. Be Careful with serving cold food
Cafeteria style food and service. No table service here. Limited menu chicken fried steak was thin and the batter just fell of the steak even with gravy on it. Breakfast potatoes not made in house. Battled flies from our food throughout service. Food was served with plastic forks and knives and paper plates on a cafeteria tray your name is called over a loudspeaker when your order is ready.
Their london fog is delicious, but, their avocado toast is not good at all.Very sad to find out they took off one of their famous sandwich off the menu, it was the best thing they had there. Continental breakfast is no longer available as well due to the pandemic. If you want to get potato, stick with the tater tots, very good balance of crunchy and soft.Just a heads up that phone order is NOT prepared until you come in store. So it will take the same time just line ordering in person.
The service was great ☺️. The pancakes 🥞 were delicious 😋 Highly recommend this place to everyone
We went here for breakfast for the first time and loved it!! Everything was hot, fresh and delicious!! (I also like the fact that they have the choice of a healthy salad, instead of potatoes for a side) And OMGeee!! The fresh buttery Pecan Bar was out of this world Ah-Mazing😋 Had to constrain myself not to devour the whole thing before my breakfast came ...Cant wait to come back and try other items on the menu.
Butter Cafe is one of those local gems that quickly makes the list of must eats. Everything on their menu feels carefully curated and intentional. Pastries are top notch and the breakfast and lunch dishes are an ABSOLUTE must try. Even something as simple as avocado toast becomes next-level in the hands of their chefs.Ive only had one experience where I had asked to send something back to the kitchen, this was due to the dish being too spicy for my liking. However the staff is extremely friendly and efficient, you will not wait long for your coffee or food. And speaking of coffee, the selection here puts many other coffee houses to shame. I highly recommend taking the time to treat yourself to some Butter Cafe.
Chill atmosphere. Not enough pastries. But it could have been because I went late in the day.
Always good food and pastries there! The breakfast burritos are always the best and the huevos rancheros is also bomb. Always take my out of town friends here and they love it as well!
Went to get food for me and my three workers. 110 dollars for four orders of french toast! I said hell no, its just freakin bread not ribeye steaks!
Nice restaurant with breakfast and lunch menu. Had the chicken fried steak breakfast. Great breakfast potatoes and my over hard eggs cooked perfectly, however the chicken fried steak was on the salty side.
Great food, just needed more than 1 cashier
First time there, clean place, nice staff. I had avocado toast with an egg on top. Very thin layer of avo spread. It was too pricey. My brother had the butter burger, he said it was awesome. I will go again but choose something else next time. Coffee was good and hot.
Bomb food service, pastries are so cute and delicious. One of the rare places where vegan pastries are just as good as the dairy and egg based if not better. Try the Mochas! So good with oat milk.My son looovveess the hot chocolate and sprinkle cookies. We both love the double chocolate vegan muffin.
Service was super friendly and food was delicious! The London Fog was delicious. Not overly sweet but just right. The Challah French toast didnt need syrup and was melt in your mouth goodness. The chilaquiles with chorizo and 2 over medium eggs were amazing until I got to the 2nd layer then I could barely finish because it was too salty. I was salty about how salty 😆🙈My husband had extra sour cream which helped some. I needed a third egg to help spread the gooey yolk goodness and/or it needed traditional crema layered....like not sour cream but Mexican crema. I think the issue was it was layered in a bowl so the underlayers didnt get the benefit of the egg to cut through the flavor. I would have to try it with bacon or sausage. The chorizo might have been the issue.Oh but they were nice and crunchy...only a little mushy at the end because I ate some of the chilaquiles, then some french toast and then the rest of the chilaquiles.
The cinnamon rolls are a 5 Star the reason why I am giving a three star is because I ordered the eggs and way with tator tots. Everything was great, after my second tator tot, it got gross very fast. The oil used to cook the tator tots was either a cheap cooking oil or the oil was old or both. Due to this my stomach was not very pleasant for the rest of the day.
Its a great place to go and grab delicious food. A bit of a wait but totally worth the wait. Dine-in and out-door tables with shade. Will be back for sure!!!😋😋
Stopped here on my bike ride for the first time and besides the coffee being delicious the staff was super nice. There was a little old lady who was ordering pastries and the girl at the counter was super nice and patient with her. it seemed that the old lady was having trouble communicating. It may not seem like a big deal but it was awesome to see.
Great pastries and cookies. Outstanding breakfasts. Staff friendly, fast, and professional. (and very good looking) (just saying😊)
I tried this place out of the blue on this Sunday morning. Not the best day of the week to try a new place. It was so crowded. The wait for my food was over an hour. The food was worth the wait! But next time Ill try a different day of the week. LOL
Excellent food and great customer service!
Awesome breakfast burrito! Nice covered patio, plenty of seating with shade
The place was closed because they were short staffed so it didnt happen.
Exemplary service, right off the bat, on a early Sunday afternoon brunch session. The area is pleasantly calm and offers plenty of parking space so the usual hassles of local brunch spots are refreshingly absent for this spot. The menu offers a great selection of popular brunch foods, from Blueberry French Toast with a unique & crumbly twist to Croque Monsieurs. I am loving the sweet and savory combination of their Maple Bacon Biscuit Sandwich with your choice of sausage or bacon & cheddar cheese. They have an International Brunch Plates section that is dedicated to breakfast foods from all over the world, like the Tapsilog Grain Bowl with brown rice, eggs, pickled cucumbers, and your choice of bacon, sausage, pork, or spam, or their Butter Special Breakfast Burrito. Can we just take a moment for this monster of a burrito? Eggs, choice of chorizo, bacon, or sausage, black beans, avocado, hash brown potatoes, and cheddar cheese. It comes wrapped in a huge flour tortilla which is cooked to such golden brown perfection that it even has some crackle when you bite into it. They also give you some soothing sour cream and mild salsa to accompany that bad boy and make it pop! Definitely a Must-Try off of this menu.Their drinks portion of the menu is hefty and offers more than the typical cheap coffee. Theyre cranking out powerful nitro cold brews with a smooth finish, all sorts of espresso drinks, London teas with a sweet & creamy finish, and even mimosas to complete that boozy brunch.Having this so close to home is a definitely a perk for me, but if Im honest, I would drive a ways for this level of quality food. Its worth it.
Hey Butter, you food is outstanding and I’m always impressed with the quality, but you guys need to do something about the speed of your service. Since you’ve reopened, I have called an order in from home, then drove in to pick it up on my way to work. The last 4 or 5 times, I have arrived, just to wait for more than 15 minutes to get the food i ordered 10-15 minutes earlier. I’ve actually seen people order while I’ve been waiting, and get their food before my call In order is ready. How is that possible? I literally am ordering a coffee and oatmeal. We all know the oatmeal has already be made, and a coffee is a quick prep as well. How can your system be so inefficient that an easy order takes 30 minutes to prepare? I want to continue to frequent your establishment, but if things don’t improve, it’s back to Starbucks for me, where the order is don’t when i get there.
The espresso is pretty cheap quality, very bitter. The person taking orders cannot talk through the mask so the ordering process was terrible. On top of that we were called 3 times for each part of the order. The food was OK but we are not going there anymore.
Good size space. Some of the staff are nice, but mostly they are impatient like youre wasting their time. And a bit rude. Which could potentially be excusable if the food wasnt bland and mediocre. I say this not having tried everything on the menu, so I could of course be wrong. But Ive tried some of their pastries which were all super dry, and a couple of the specials. I just think they maybe dont use quality ingredients. The presentation is nice and Im sure the cooks work hard, its just you can only do so much with bland low quality ingredients. And it is strangely loud in here. I have been here only a couple times in the late morning with maybe like 10 other people and everybodys voices echoed. Its too bad. The place has a great look and location. Hope the food and service improves.
The gluten free brownie is perfect in texture. Crispy and gooey. We can sit outside! Their blueberry corn muffin is moist and delicious
Little trendy place, good food had egg, ham, cheese biscuit with potatoes .A little small inside but had a great outdoor eating area . Going back very soon .
Come here for the breakfast burritos. I get bacon well done/crispy. Massive and Delicious. Definitely best in the Inland Empire
Staff is amazing. Food is delicious. What more could you ask for?
Exceptional customer service and a sensational breakfast burrito.
Just started coming here. They have good selection of breakfast, lunch, pastries. Really good comfort food, great service. Definitely will return.
Delicious food, awesome staff...
The breakfast is amazing (top notch waffles) and their brownies are out of this world.
Great morning for breakfast but the menu. I want everything! Decisions decisions
Dry omelettes second try trying them.
Best food ever. And great service👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome customer service and great food! Currently order and seat yourself
Food is super yummy...
Fantastic. Please stay away so I can have it for myself.
I like the atmosphere, and the menu items look exciting, but Ive been there twice and the food isnt much to rave about. Maybe their speciality is the beverage selection? Ive tried their waffle, pancakes and eggs, but its really basic. Ive made better at home. Their breakfast burrito is okay, kind of dry, but decent. The staff is kind. Id give it another try just because its close enough to home and has a number of other options on the menu.
Delicious breakfast burritos. Looking forward to trying more items off the menu
Love the country fried steak plate hands down 😋👍
Very good quality food and pastries. Employees are very nice!
Great coffee. Fresh food. Good outdoor dining set up.
The hours on the door don’t mean anything. I showed up at 1:50, 10 minutes to closing and was told the kitchen was closed. Person behind the counter said they have a last call for food. Not sure what time you have to be here if you want to get food. Hours are little strange as well, closeting at 2pm during the weekdays. I love supporting local businesses, but won’t be coming back here.
I want to rate it a 5 star. But I did no try the food. I went in to buy a coffee. The nice lady at the register made me feel like a regular instead of the rookie that I really am. The dining are was clean. I used the restroom and it was clean and not stinky!! When I came out the nice barista was holding my coffee and recognized me as the guy who ordered it. She prompted me and handed me the coffee when I walked over. Overall a good visit. I will go back soon and try the food.
Love the layout. Well put together establishment with plenty of outdoor seating!
Sure cute and friendly staff. The food never disappoints
My wife and I love Butter!
The food here is delicious. i ordered the breakfast burrito and felt like i didnt have a chance to put it back down on the plate. we were extremely pleased about the avocado toast having eggs included as that is somewhat hard to find or an extra charge at other places. we will be coming back soon to try other menu items. the cookies are so good!!
Had a huge delicious breakfast burrito!
I normally get the smoked salmon but decided to try the breakfast burrito. Barely finished half and it was excellent. Most surprising was how good their salsa is - didnt expect much from here but WOW! Not spicy but great flavor.
Food was delicious!
This is by far my new favorite place to eat. I had the chicken fried steak, it was amazing. Between the cheese gravy and the great portions I give it a thumbs up. The service also stands out. They are friendly and attentive. This cafe stands out by it friendly staff, great food, and a simply but modern country style. I would recommend for anyone since they have a very wide variety of food options on the menu.
Save yourself 50% on the bill and just go to Dennys. Food is barely passable, and the noise level inside will rival an airport runway. They serve fresh from a frozen bag tater tots, which came stone cold, along with a completely flavorless omelette. The coffee is pretty good but if you ask for a refill at your table they demand $0.50? really? After paying $40 for two miserable breakfasts youre going to charge me $0.50 for a refill on coffee? Never again!
Zucchini bread was fantastic.
Delicious! Try the biscuits!
An amazing staff and wondeful food.
Good food and service. Will definitely be back.
4/5 stars because this place use to feel homey like. The food is still great and the staff is super helpful if youre indecisive, but everything is served on paper places, plastic utensils, etc. Unsure of the change, but doesnt feel like it use to! Overall, Id still come back.
I just adore this place. One of my favorite places to go when I can and the bakery items are amazing. I do wish they’d bring back the salted caramel cake. It’s so hard not to have it as regular item. We recently tried the s’mores cheesecake and that was good! We should have eaten only half. We couldn’t eat our food when we got it because we were full of cheesecake goodness.
Fresh food, very delicious, friendly servers, we will be back.We love their Ricotta cake. This place is simply fantastic. My son found this place on internet, we are glad we went.
I really dug the vibe, the staff, the coffee, and the pastries. Everyone was more than friendly and extremely helpful and Isabella have me some great suggestions. She even let me try the cookie milk before I got the whole latte. And let me tell you, that Iced Cookie Milk Latte is one of those things you didnt know you needed in your life. The espresso just comes through but you get the texture of like a Turkish coffee but without the bitterness. Its not overly sweet. It just needs to be tried by everyone and anyone who loves a good latte. And the chai scone was everything I thought it was going to be and more. So I definitely recommend just about any of the cafe style items. Didnt get a chance to try food this visit, BUT I will definitely be back so no need to stress.EDIT: I just now tried the Oreo Cookie Cookie (yes, Oreo Cookie Cookie) that I brought home for later. And wowwww was I not ready. I dont know what else to tell yall, but to get in there and try it all.
Amazing food, and a great staff to help you out!
Had the eggs Benedict today and OMG the worst ever, muffins were cold the ham was probably from food4less extremely thin and salty ham, eggs were overdone, and the sauce was like a slice of velveeta cheese with a squirt of lemon, never again.
Excellent omelette and potato breakfast. Delicious iced latte! Ive been here twice now and loved it both times. Friendly staff too.
Food is good, 100% but limited beverages and no Wi-fi 🤯 - Tip: if you sit outside pay attention to the bar because your drink will NOT be delivered to your table
One of my favorite breakfast places, you gotta get their tator tots and try their cookie milk latte
