I am helping my son in law rebuild the transmission in his Honda Civic, using a Synchrotech kit. As we were reassembling we realized that he accidently ordered the wrong kit, and a few of the bearings were wrong. By then some of the packaging was discarded and the kit was not in returnable condition. I contacted Synchrotech to ask if I could just purchase the few needed bearings separately. Andy Henson from Synchrotech replied and said they would just like to exchange the whole kit to avoid any problems, and they did so for just the cost of shipping. This was very helpful to us. Thanks to Andy Henson and the Synchrotech company for the excellent customer service.
Incredible and special place. I can’t imagine anybody is better at what they do than themselves. They rebuilt my Honda B series transmission. The service I received was top notch, nothing could have been better about it / they’ve got this down perfect. The specialness of the place is reflected in their products and their shop. In this day and age it’s exceedingly hard to find a place like this. It can only be possible if they are the best and I think they are.
Amazing work with my transmission even with my warranty with the m factory lsd this baby. Il be back again and again. Work got done in amazing time to
Thank you all for a job well done!So here is my story.......Last year my wife was in Los Angeles with our Honda Accord. The transmission went out and Honda wanted over $6000.00 for a new one installed.I contacted Synchrotech from our home state of Washington. They worked with us so well over the phone and recommended a shop to us that could help us out right away.Sure enough everything was smooth as silk. My wifes car was back on the road in a few short days. Transmission shifted better than brand new.A year later and this transmission is going strong. Every time we take our car into the dealer they comment how well the car is kept, how smooth it rides and how well the transmission responds when shifting.We could not be happier with your professionalism, service and workmanship. All of this and the price was very reasonable.Thank you again and happy holidays!
Customer service is excellent, friendly staff.They always have what I need for transmission parts
Came into Synchrotech last week because the transmission went out on my Accord. They were so helpful and I was able to get a transmission the same day! The transmission shifts like new now! I would definitely recommend them. Excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff!
Purchased a rebuild of my Evo 9 transmission. It included using their Master Rebuild Kit. Got the transmission back. Paid Mitsubishi $500 to put it back in the car. The transmission would not go into Reverse or 5th Gear. Paid another $500 to have Mitsubishi to take it back out because Synchrotech would not diagnose it on the car. They finally repaired it and I paid an additional $500 to have Mitsubishi put it back in for the final time. Keep in mind they could have easily checked the transmission to make sure it went into every gear after the finished the rebuild the first time via moving the manual linkage on the top of the transmission. They were just lazy and do not care about quality control but why would they when they dont have to pay for labor to install and uninstall the transmission. I contacted them asking for them to help with the cost of labor however they were rude and told me no way.--
Great place to do business . great work and fast turnaround. My home for my transmission needs.thanks
I have been dealing with Synchrotech for over 5 years. In that time, I have had basic rebuilds done and even full on race units built. David and his team are extremely knowledgeable and most importantly professional.Their extensive inventory means you very seldom have to wait! All of their transmissions are thoroughly cleaned and media tumbled not just for pleasing aesthetics but mostly for better lubricity inside the case.Their expertise has also led them to develop their own line of carbon-lined synchros and other components to compliment their comprehensive rebuild kits. If you have an automatic transmission, they can take care of you too! Its a one stop transmission shop for sub 100hp cars to 1,000hp+ monsters!
I have had three transmissions fixed and upgraded here. Two of them for daily drivers and the third for track use only. The reason why I first chose to do business with them was because of their customers service and knowledge.The reason why I still do business with them is because their work has never failed me.
I have dealt with David Henson, the owner for years! Very knowledgable, polite and always takes the time to answer any technical questions I may have. This is very rare in this day and age. Synchrotech stocks a huge amount of MFactory products as well as an awesome line of their own products. Parts are always in stock when I need them!! Thank you for the great service and look forward to many more years of doing business!!!James@Ghostwerks
5 Stars. Support, knowledge and friendly staff... Doesnt hurt they have the best products in the bizz. Thanks for all the support guys
Great customer service. I ordered all parts here for all my transmission builds from synchros to M-Factory LSDs. They have the right parts for the right price. Easy to deal with over the phone and through email. And always confirm my orders are correct before shipping them out, so I am not spending additional money where/when it is not needed
I ordered a automatic transmission from them on the advice of one of our race competitors who had used their parts in the past. After installation at my facility the car experienced violent down shifts during the test drive. I called syncrotech and they advised me that it had to be the fluid. (I used redline ATF initially instead of Honda ZF). I flushed it 5 times with Honda factory fluid to worsening events every time. I then took the car to a local shop that builds most of the transmissions for local racers. After running codes and scratching their heads for a few hours they pulled the solenoid sand tested flow rates and realized that syncrotech had installed the 2 color coded solenoids in the wrong holes. I called David at syncrotech to alert him to the problem and ask if he would cover the cost ($600 but willing to split the difference at $300) of the diagnostic that I had to put into his transmission to make it functional and he told me that he would give me $100 and that my tech should have noticed that his tech installed the solenoids in the wrong holes. He then told me to look at the warranty as it does not cover labor. Yes that includes the labor to make his freshly overhauled transmission functional in the first place. Do not waste your time or money with them. I understand that mistakes happen. I have spent my life manufacturing axles and gear sets for racing and military applications. But the blame my tech for not noticing his techs critical mistake is not what I would consider the sign of a business that I want anything to do with.
Awsome service and price. A+++
