Only 3 registers open. All were backed up 5 deep. 30 mins to check out for foot powder? Shameful!Looked to me front manager(s) should have jumped in and helped.

Id give 0 stars if i could. I went to the px for just a simple haircut, and was rushed in and out in less then 4 minutes. I went in about 5-10 minutes after other customers and the gentleman finished my hair way before them. I asked for him to fix the cut but it was too late because he cut way shorter than I had asked. One of the worst haircuts Ive ever had and Ive never felt more rushed.

I really like the MCX and post this in the hopes of improving them. Guys... please answer your phones. Its not a good customer experience. Either have a customer line-- or dont.

Id give negative stars if I could for the barber shop. If they didnt have a monopoly, they would be out of business. 2 1/2 hour wait is fast.

Came out my way on two different occasions and they was closed both times with not explanation, so cant rate the store. I was upset...take me an hour to get there.

MCX is pretty much Mervyns with no sales tax. You have to have a military ID to get on base and check out though.

Its like any other mcx its great if it serves its purpose

This place is very nice inside and I have to travel 75 miles to get here and they have a Great amount of Clothing to Electronics where I bought a new Gaming Laptop and my wife found what she needed where March ARB in Moreno Valley is very small and doesnt have the Quality that this Exchange has.

This is my favorite places to shop..everyone here are very helpful..friendly..and cheerful..since the virus has happened..this one of my sweet safety zone..people here are the bestest!!!From the sales people and the environmental crew that keeps this place clean and a safe place to shop!! This is a great place to go for people in the services and their relatives. The selection here is great and the prices are really low too. Lots of good sales going on as well and having no sales tax is a major plus. The selection is very wide-ranging and is on par with any other well-known department stores. Amelia and Cody were really helpful, they were provided assistance with some of the Apple keyboards and told me about gift cards too. They also went through a wide variety of flatscreens and OLED and let me know the differences. Anyone who has the ability to shop here definitely should take advantage of it, it is such a great place and I cant think of a single downside to anything Ive experienced.

Very good variety of merchandise. Sort of a Marine Corps version of Target. Large electronics department. Fashionable clothing for men, women and kids. Like most department stores these days, there arent many employees (sales staff) on the floor, but most check out registers were open and ready. It also has a large outdoor department with a good variety of plants and some outdoor furniture .

Helpful employees and great selection of everything you need. Shoe department is good, toys a plenty. Clothes are abundant, jewelry is of good quality, and haircuts are cheap. Plenty of sporting goods and a new gun shop just opened. I’ll check that out on my next visit.

Needed a perscription filled. I do wish that they could serve their customers quicker. If nothing else, they should get more seating out there. Making all those elderly veterans stand around for over an hour is just plain wrong - you, of all people, should know better!!!

The staff is super friendly. Even when someone looks busy with something, theyre happy to stop to help. If you ask someone for help and they dont know about the product youre asking about, theyll find someone who does know about it. Today, I was trying to find a good gaming mouse for my boyfriend, and the guy I asked referred me to another employee, and she knew all about them!! They were both really nice, and never made me feel stupid, even though I didnt really know what I was looking for. 10/10, would shop again!

I thought we were supposed to help our military and their families! Dont get me wrong, its a very nice store. The selection is high end. Thats what surprised me! The selection and the prices were high end! I would of thought that good quality, with good pricing, would be very important on a military base!

The MCX will not answer their phone regardless of which department you choose to call. This is an unacceptable practice when you call on a non-holiday Monday at 1:15 pm.

I love to go to the mcx. The mcx always have the best prices. Customer service depends on who you get. You have some that are sour and rude and they dont want to work but they need the money and thats why theyre there. The other ones are nice and pleasant to chat with about your purchases.

It was okay at the exchange. Prices were a little higher than I expected. Not many people around to answer questions. But it is a nice, big facility!

Everyone there was very helpful. They know their stuff and can repair almost anything. If they cannot they will let you know. Great to find an honest competent place

Authorized patrons can can an average of 20% compared to off base. Plus Tax Free is always amazing.

This location is excellent. It is located right next to the Commisary on MCAS Miramar. They usually have excellent clearance like the other MCX and NEX locations. Staff is very helpful if you have inquiries. We visit there often.

First time going being a Navy Veteran its alright lol

Carries top brands, but not the same sales discounts that the direct stores carry. For example, Bath & Body Works. Whrn purchased from the retailer, the items are often buy 2, get 1 free. Havent seen the savings here. Store is kept nice, but the values arent significant enough to regularly shop there. Better deals in the local shops of Mira Mesa.

Great grocery store. They have self checkout if you have less than 20 items. The store is always organized and clean. It is hard to find someone if you are looking a for a particular item, but thats because the store is so large. They have sushi made daily.

Nice clothes. I will return to shop.

Not always the best prices on everything. We usually focus on paper products, snacks and frozen foods. The meat isnt always great, but it usually well priced. Lastly the produce is competitive in price, but the fruits are not always ready to eat. Enjoy!

Nice setup just like a Walmart but cleaner and more organized. Very friendly sales staff. All products that you need and want without the tax.

It’s a good place to go but not if you’re looking for kid clothes. I am trying to find 5t shorts and they had NOTHING 5t. I asked someone for help and they showed me where I had already looked and said there is nothing there. Her response oh sometimes they get it in and sometimes they don’t. I think she meant they NEVER get it in because I’ve been here a few times in the past few months looking for 5T clothes and have NEVER found anything 5T. 🙄 Doesn’t really make a person want to shop there again.

Great service, very friendly and helpful. A good selection, just dont expect to find EVERYTHING. The only downside is that the lines usually get jammed up, not too bad though maybe 15 - 20 minutes extra.

Wow! I was here as a guest. I was in shock at the prices! I mean here we are on a military base. I dont think the government has been keeping us in the dark on how much they pay our military people. The prices for most of the items I looked at were ridiculous!! Hundreds of dollars for a purse. Dont get me started on on some of the other things I looked at. I can be completely wrong but I was under the impression that these stores on military bases were there to help our military. Families, single people, couples, retirees etc.... In my mind, I dont see that store as a special place put there for one reason and one reason only. To help our military and there families out. As I said I could be completely wrong. The person who told me that many, many years ago had it all wrong too. I had no idea I was going to walk into such an expensive store with very little selection for a military family with 3 children.

The cashier name Jessie at Electronics department was rude and not friendly at all,Asked him if can someone help me to load 55 inches TV in my Van and he goes all of us are busy here, He didnt even bother to call somebody,Thats not the way he treat the customers, I worked at retail for over 20 years ( 7 years in Navy Exchange in Philippines) and I know how to treat customer,The c ashier Alysha at garden department was friendly and happy, she g reet customer nice,

I love the exchange. I know this wont be of use to anyone unless they have a military ID, but for those who do, its a great place to shop. Its not as big as the Navy Exchange, but there is still lots to chose from and their prices are competitive with the Navy Exchange. Its clean, well stocked, employees are very nice and super helpful.

This is good for the military I have to come here to shop this is the closest active duty post. for me March air base is here but its not a active post and they dont have a lot things in the [BX & com.store] how do we try to fix this.....

Great shopping experience! Staff do a tremendous job of making customers service a priority. Only go when major sales events are on.

The PX is always very clean and neat. There is a pharmacy inside the PX, so you can shop for clothing, jewelry, electronics, health and beauty, and a nursery which sells garden supplies and plants, etc. The goods sold are high end and pricey.

Was there to get a prescription filled. Only took 30 min. A great job done quick. This is a good place to shop too.

Whos managing this place? Every single time I go on there, no prices on any items!!! I have asked...they say inventory time. Its always inventory time! I dont have time to research prices on every single product prior to purchase. Fix this!

Military only but a great store...

The Marine Exchange and Commisary are ok. The clothing selection did not have my prefered styles and the shoe section had poor selection of sizes. The food court needs attention, needs renovation.

Good selection of items. Many high end items. Prices are average, even when you consider that sales tax isnt paid/collected at any MCX location. Navy/Marine pharmacy is now located inside the MCAS MCX (in the back, just past the Electronics section).

Its laid back and easy to get around. Its not so crowded that youre about to loose your mind.

Always clean. I can’t speak highly of the staff... they r far too comfortable in their jobs. I have had staff ignore me, have in-depth conversations with other staff in front of me and several other things. But it’s conscientious if ur on base so 🤷🏼‍♀️sorts just gotta love Surg what ya got
