Long lines and staff that seem to be eager to get off work and close the store. Theyre only open 8hrs on WEEKENDS!WHAT YEAR ARE THEY IN!! ?Why are half of the registers CLOSED and lines longer than I even want to look at?Corporate, are you seeing this?Parking is never easy. And this membership card staredown is so childish. If they arent members theyll be one before they leave with anything so let them if theyre stupid enough to brave your store and pay to join your club, invite them! Hope they stay. Lots of good produce, products, food, and clothing. The Vitamix guy was there, but he didn’t bring the spice blends with him.Wish they had external keyboard options, but many different tech things. If you can go, they often have just as good or similar prices as online & many same things that I personally have looked for/ bought. This Costco also has roses and flower bunches along with a decent pharmacy section. They also have a pharmacy but I don’t use it.

Going into Costco at 7:00pm is the best. No crowds on this Wednesday night. All merchandise was neat and clean. Where is the broccoli. We didnt find any tonight.

Whats not to like about costco, although the mission valley location seems busier than every other location, they are efficient in getting people out the door quickly. The returns line is always long and that one moves very slow. Food court lines are also very quick and have gotten shorter since costco started requiring membership in order to buy food.

I am not sure if it was just today, but the store seemed like it needed to be restocked in almost every area. I also normally go to a different Costco in SD so walking in and finding that this one doesn’t sell my favorite yogurt and marinated meat was very saddening. Other than that, checkout was relatively fast (but it was also almost closing so kind of expected since there’s less people) and they worker boxed my things nicely.

I love this Costco because they always have lots of inventory on hand so I don’t have to make multiple trips.The parking lot is large, making it relatively easy to get in and out and did I mention it’s freeway close?This location also has a lot of checkout registers so the wait is not usually very long. I really enjoy coming to this location when I need those things I can only get here at Costco!

Costco is always so much fun to go to. Its Cosco sometimes you find good deals on sheets, jeans, cereal, meats and other goodies. I get stuff that my kids love and will actually finish without getting tired of the same thing over and over like ice cream to. Random but good

Everyone likes Costco!!!But I dont have enough $$ to buy everything I want...The people at the checkout lines are always friendly and if you missed something or cant find it, they will have someone find it if its still in stock...(I liked Price Club better!!!)

I stopped by this Costco and it’s pretty convenient especially if you want to do any other shopping in the area. That being said it can also be pretty busy since it’s near ikea. But great customer service and plenty of options. Just with they could bring back all the samples.

I cant ever get waited on for glasses. Always too busy. They need more help for busy times. Ive been trying to get my glasses for about 3 months. Have waited an hour or more and had to leave. Been to two locations ..same thing. I have made at least 6 trips just for my glasses..ugh. I need them really bad

Today 09/07/21 @12:30p a male staff worker in charge of the rotisserie chicken station gave the most DISRESPECTFUL SERVICE I’ve ever seen.After waiting patiently for the new batch of chicken to stock this worker DELIBERATELY TOSSED 2 trays into the display and SLAMMED the door shut while standing back to stare at myself and another customer to visibly say “Are you going to get it or not?” Of course there were plentiful trays aligned on a separate table but our patience of waiting was only met with harshness. I came for decent customer service NOT a complete disregard for it. Either you work or stay home, but don’t ever bring that attitude into service. Do better Costco.

1. Costco PharmacyThe Costco pharmacy was a decent experience. The male pharmacy tech who assisted me was quick & informative. My only suggestion for the pharmacy, would be to make the signs more visible to your guests identifying where the line starts for the pharmacy and the line for vaccination appointments etc. There were customers waiting around the entire pharmacy checkout area and it was confusing as to who was In line for what... I had to ask another customer who kindly pointed me in the right direction...2. Costco RetailLastly, I wish there was more Costco employee presence on the floor! Why? When you have a question, its almost impossible to find a Costco employee unless you walk to the front of the store where the cashiers are and then you are ignored if you are not in line. I tried asking the 2 Costco supervisors which I believe were directing the checkout lines, but they were too busy looking at their clipboard when attempting to get their attention.... Question for Costco management: When you have a question while shopping in Costco, where does one go to locate an employee for assistance?

Costco gets a little crowded but the savings and fresh fruits and vegetables are worth it. They have a chilled veggie walk through area with some healthy foods. Help is nowhere to be found, but it is par for a store like this. They replaced our tires while we went to the food court. Dollar and half for a hot dog and a soda. Pizza was surprisingly good.

I am so glad I got to write this review. A really nice man named Philip works in the electronics department and knows EVERYTHING in the world about TVs. It was amazing. And he talks to you so you understand what hes saying. If youre at the Fenton Costco and Im looking for a TV check out where Philip is 😀

This is hands down my favorite Costco! The staff are so nice and helpful. The lines do back up pretty bad here, but the cashiers work fast!

The customer service is just out of this world. Every associate there goes beyond 100% to satisfy the Customer 😉 whoever does the hiring, IS A LEADER and not a MANAGER if you know what I mean.

Update: beyond meat burger availableWell kept Costco with awesome employees. They have a great selections of food, books, clothes, etc. Could get busy over the weekends, and the best time to use the gas station just right before it’s close. I wish they would carry beyond meat burgers all year around not just as a seasonal item, but one can keep dreaming. Overall its a great place with easy parking.

NEW SELF CHECKOUT! Costco is clean and tons of employees to help with whatever you need! And the new self checkout system is amazing and quick! but things to note is ONLY DEBIT/CREDIT is allowed at self checkout no cash and you must pick the boxes if you need boxes! Average Costco. Dont make the same mistake I did and go inside for the food court. Apparently, its a California thing to have the food court outside. I did not get the office memo. Also, call ahead if youre going to order a pizza or else youll have to go back.

Helpful staff at this Costco. Gas station not set up well though. Traffic into gas station gets backed up fast.

Like all Costcos I visit. Really great .great service . Good prices . Some have a self check up, but if you have liquor you have to go through the regular line. Still the normal check line is always very efficient and fast.

I went to Costco today and left my keys on my shopping cart. I obviously panicked and Charlie, who works there went out of his way to help me find them. At first I thought I dropped them so Charlie went in to look at the footage and then came back out with my keys! Incredible! For a moment my day was ruined but Charlie saved my bacon! I like this Costco a lot, staff is always friendly and fast to get you through the checkout line. Its also clean, well-lit and well- maintained with a very organized layout. The only drawback is that it can be difficult to get in and out of the shopping center but its usually not that bad.. plenty of parking once youre inside the plaza.

Somewhat impressive with several opprotunities to get better. First and foremost, I am BIG on Customer Service. Hands down the single most important aspect to the shopping experience. Having said this... One must understand that Costcos business model ( Warehouse Retailer) doesnt allow for an employee for every dept. Its understood that, for the most part, youre on your own. This Costco location is no exception. In fact, I didnt encounter ANY employee during my shopping experience that cared enough to even say Hello; other than at checkout. My cashier never made eye contact with us, never greeted or thanked us, and but for sharing the total amount of our purchase, he never even spoke to us. The store was especially clean and well maintained. No mess on the floor, and no pallets of merchandise being moved thru customer traffic. The poor customer service aspect appears to be the culture at this location. Does the management push the employees so hard that they do not or cannot even greet guests??? Offhand, I cant think of another reason as to why customer service seems to be ignored.

Best Costco in San Diego county, except when its grand central station busy. Huge selections of everything Costco has to offer. I think its a launching store because you can get stuff there no place else carries (in SD). Friendly staff. Parking lot sucks really bad though.

I like Costco and never had an issue before. I always have my items with bar codes up in my basket. That way there is less handling with less chance of spreading germs. Today was the first time that 2 different employees tried to make me place each item on the belt. I had 19 items--10 being large packages (toilet paper, potatoes, watermelon, milk, etc.). I am happy to say they acquiesced after I firmly repeated my concerns. I was very surprised to have this experience at such a great place.

Been going here for awhile now. Fun to shop around and try samples. Clothes sometimes fit funny but at least theres an amazing return policy.

Love this location. Sunday morning usually gate Open 9:45am and you can get in and out fast if you know what you are shopping for. New automated cashier-less check out if you pay with cards.Overall great experience but sometimes there is a line at return but nothing crazy. Love the book section and can find couple dollars less deals compare to local bookstores. Snack heaven lots of fresh and organic produce. With your first couple purchase will save enough money to cover the annual membership fee.

Ample amount of parking for a costco. Always a line for gas but thats only because they have the cheapest gas in town.

Costco is as expected. Big box store. You can find products from A to Z. Packages are mostly large quantities. Competitive pricing on electronics, appliances, small appliances and just about everything they sell. Also, as a member, you can purchase gas which is usually 40 cents cheaper.

Did not find prices very competitive with grocery stores. Even bulk/family sized stuff still pricey. Quick look at wines had few 750ml under $12More to explore but wonder if i will even make up my membership fee in savings. And lines were long. Yikes.

My Costco experience was fine. The car that rear ended me in Costcos parking lot was not a good experience.

I love love love Costco! I love shopping online because my orders always get home early and In perfect condition. I also love photography and uploading my photos to the online app in order to order prints. I pick them up within the hour and the app also has a cropping and editing feature thats easy to use! My very favorite is just walking around taking my time to explore the newest items and getting the best pricing around! The employees are really amazing and kind individuals with a great sense of humor! Sometimes i just feel as though Id like to work with such a great group of people:) the downfall is they close early on sundays other than that i have nothing negative to say as they are helpful with every single shopper. Dont forget to have the delicious samples while you shop! Great job Costco!

This review really only needs 2 words... NEW CARTS! Wow - what a luxury. I never knew how much I could love a shopping cart experience. LOL. The store is great too and always seems to be stocked well. It gets busy just like every Costco but they have ample parking and a nice big food court out front. Honestly, just come here for the carts. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Ha!

Costco is always great. Lots of parking and very good prices. Always best to arrive early in the morning to purchase fuel or you will be waiting in line for a long time. Reminds me of the 1970s gas lines.

I’ve seen and understand Costco to be busy but this Costco was by far the busiest. And this was in the morning on a week day, not on the typical Saturday which is usually busy. I’m guessing it’s because of the pandemic... I waited in line to check out for a long while with only two items, while most people had carts filled to the top just to finally discover there was a self Checkout lane. Because there was so many people it wasn’t possible to see there was a separate line for self checkout. Because I already waited in line for so long I wasn’t about to give up my spot just go stand in the self checkout. Simple fix for this is to have a sign or have a team member reminding guests that you have a self checkout. This way they don’t have to notice them as they’ve already waited so long in line.

Went in for Molona ice cream that was on sale, came home with a watermelon, strawberries, brie cheese, and other items. The place was cleaned organized, and quick check out. I was there around 8:00pm before closing. Love Costco!

We are in San Diego for 3+ weeks for our family west coast vacation. This COSTCO is a large store and has everything you need to feed 10. Buying bulk to supply the vacation home.

Was in the eye department picking glasses. Pick the rong glasses thanks to the young girl help me get the right pair for my chicks. No name badge to congratulate her on her great nolige in the eye department.

The gas is a nightmare depending on the time you go... consider yourself warned. Early in the day or later in the evening- they open at 5:30AM and close at 9:30PM at this gas station.The store has an easy layout and it well balanced. They offer a sell check out that is a joy to use and is SUPER fast. No weird button or extra stuff on the screen. It is scan card, your stuff, and pay EASY. I wish more stores had a system like this. The receipt is in BLUE so that the checkers at the door know youre a self-check customer.Would recommend to everyone.

After a long day, Costco pizza with a fresh and delicious Ceaser salad ( they dont have the salad in the food court you have to buy inside the store) is the best option if you dont feel like cooking 😉

I love the staff here & all the amazing food & items to chose from! So tempting! I would have given them 5 stars, but, there are a lot of rude shoppers here! Granted the employees cant help that, but, people leaving carts in handicap spots, walking or driving behind you when youre pulling out, even though they see you backing up, walking in front of you abruptly & taking their time without acknowledging a simple nod or wave of thanks, parking in the red zone making me go around you into oncoming traffic, so, you can get your hotdog fix or your groceries unloaded into your car faster, pushing your cart on the side of the normal flow of cart traffic. Cutting you off with your cart, leaving your cart in the way of others, while you browse down another isle. Sorry, had to vent. People just be courteous & have some proper etiquette. But, otherwise, I love Costco & its staff!

First time, and as Im walking in with about 10 other people none of which showed membership cards Carmen rudely stops me from entering and states i need a membership to enter. I later find out thats not true. You need a membership to buy but as a first timer you are allowed to browse. Of course she was too busy being rude and i was not offered that option. She points to another entrance where i could obtain a membership but it was very unclear from where we were standing where it was and gets rude when i asked where it was. Standing in the membership line waiting patiently to be acknowledged and two guys walk right up to the counter in front of the line and they just help them. Horrible experience! Carmen should be fired! Clearly she targeted me. So we need to say why? Disgusting!

Biggest Costco with the most variety in San Diego. I have even bought my wifes engagement diamond ring from this store 8 years ago.

Back to one of Tijuanas groovy Costcos. This time, a major food run. As a vegetarian (wanna be Vegan)I was worried my healthy eating options would be seriously limited in TJ. But there are more options than I expected. Costco being one of my all-time favorite stores of all time... does not disappoint in Tijuana. 😁

Excellent deals. Cheaper than Sams Club and lots of convenient locations. Cheapest gas in every city. Well worth the membership fee. I usually get more than $200 cash back each year from using their free American Express card. They have an excellent return policy and excellent quality items. Cant beat their $1.50 giant hot dog and drink deal. Kudos to Costco for not reducing the size or increasing the price!
