Antibacterial hand wipes are in the ba k with the travel sized stuff, I walked through the whole store before I found em. Wasnt crazy busy & they have a little bit of everything. Low key followed me around the store for a bit which was new for them. Didnt bother me much though. I was more focused on finding something good to snack on for my night shift. I took my time and Id suggest you do the same, dont even mind them. Ive noticed most of the local businesses are acting this way now anyway, so I guess this is just a part of the new normal. Lastly, CVS, it would be nice if you guys carried more sugar free options.

Very clean and well stocked. Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Would have given it 5 stars, except some of the girls that work during the day are kind of rude.

CVS pharmacies have always been hit and miss for me. As an example, the one in Rancho Bernardo is one of the worst places to get a prescription filled. Chronic bad experiences there caused me to avoid CVS for years.I gave the market Street location a shot when I moved downtown 5 years ago and could not be more pleased! Prescriptions are filled lightning fast. Customer service is spot on. And the pharmacy staff is always willing to go an extra mile.This location has redeemed the brand for me. Really happy I gave it a chance!

I was in town for a business conference and needed an umbrella and some band aids. They seem to think that everyone who walks into the store is homeless and / or a shoplifter. Im fortunate enough not to be either. Ill never shop at CVS again.

Good pharmacy. Has all of the usual quick-need items. They dont sell hard alcohol and they arent open late... bummer on both accounts. FYI, the Pharmacy has different hours than the store!

Convenient if youre staying in the area but they dont sell any fruit which was a bummer but maybe I should have figured.

Had a minor emergency while traveling in San Diego. Stopped in at 7 AM and Sammy spent a good half hour with us trying to resolve our problem. He called other CVS stores to try to find the product we needed. He was so patient! Thank you Sammy! He did everything he could to help us!

I used to loathe going to this particular CVS... now I LOVE IT! The CVS on Market Street has done a complete 180°. I dont know if its because of a new store manager or district manager but it is a pleasant experience every time I go in. The staff always greets customers when they come in now, not run and hide. The shelves are always stocked. I even talk to the manager every time Im in the store. He even offers to help customers find what they need, thats hard to find these days. Ive been asked to do surveys on this CVS and to be honest the first one was when it was terrible. Now anytime and asked to do a survey, I make sure to mention, by name, the employee that specifically made my experience that day great. The CVS on Market Street is so convenient from I live and would rather walk somewhere than drive, thats why I moved to an Urban area. If you ever had a bad experience at the store, go give it another try. Im certain you WONT be disappointed.

Do not shop here this was the first place in my life where I was racial profiled because of my skin color, yes I am black and when I went to purchase my item I was told that I need to pay for the rest of the stuff in my bag, it was the most embarrassing thing I ever had to deal with I quickly emptied my bag and ask for a refund. I am disgusted by their behavior!!!

This is a CVS like every other CVS you have ever visited.Good selection of over the counter drugs, and an on-site pharmacy can be found here. I found everything that I was looking for, and a few other things.I dropped a star because my chip enabled card wouldnt work here - works fine everywhere else. Nothing but indifference from the cashier who insisted that my card was at fault... suggested it was defective.

They are rude and can never bw bothered to provide good service. They treat people like they suspect bad behavior. Insulting and inappropriate character defamation i have not gone back to this location since being so abused

This is an above-average CVS. I have been going here for about 2 years now and it always seems to be a good experience. The staff is very nice and friendly. They always welcome me and ask me if I need any help.It seems a little bit larger than most CVS but I cannot say that it has anything out of the usual. I wish that they had maybe some lunch options and/or fresh fruit. But I blame that more on corporate CVS and less than this store. One good thing about CVS is that they are discontinuing their sale of tobacco items. Hallujah!The checkout line sometimes get long but they do have three self-check out machines. Sometimes I am uncertain if there are two lines (one for the self-checkout and one for the cashier) or if there is one line and when you get to the front you can move either to self-checkout or the cashier. They probably should post some signs or gates to direct people better. I usually just ooze over to the self checkout when nobody is using them even if there is a line for the cashier. Nobody has ever yelled at me. lol. BTW, you cannot use checkout if you are buying alcohol.

Great place with great service. Little dirty but overall, great store. Ran in right as they were about to close to get my wife some Pepto Bismol. Weren’t bothered at all.

It is very convenient to get to because of Gaslamp Quarter/East Village. The store is great and big on Market Street. The staff is great.

I was sick in here to buy Medicine. When I became more sick I was informed there was no public restroom and should walk several blocks to the mall. I would have puked right there, but made it across the street to a bar. They were completely unhelpful when I asked two different employees where I could go since I was sick. I get it if one employee was distracted and unhelpful - but theyd rather I puke in their store than help me.

Very rude staff working here.I came to take a passport photo,before coming I make sure that I am able to get photo by my email .I called them and confirm it with 2 staff, cause one lady staff was confused.Then I walked 15 minutes and reached there.they say that they cant email.Total miscommunication within the staff.They didnt even apologise.

The cashier was incredibly rude today. I just stopped in for some batteries on my lunch break. He left the cash register to help someone, which was fine. In the mean time, I counted out the exact change and set it on the counter. When he came back to do the transaction, he threw a fit because I didnt pick the change up and put it in his hand. Im sorry, is this a joke? I would understand if he had his and out and I put it on the counter anyways, or if I paid in quarters or something, but seriously. He should not be employed.

Came here to get a perscription and found out their system has been down. Not just this CVS but all CVSs. Apparently this has been going on for 2 days and they are recovering manually. They couldnt find the perscription for my daughter. We now have to try to chase the doctor down to get them to resend. For a medical critical service, that is irresponsible at best. Just terrible.

The parking is situation is not the greatest. I had to run some errands one of which was downtown so I dropped off my prescription for pickup and they said it would be 45 minutes. I came back 45 minutes later and sure enough it was ready. It is rare these days that someone actually does what they say they are going to do and they did just that.

This is a major US chain store. Most things from food and drink to daily necessities are available here. You might thankfully by some people from being able to buy the goods at zero communication with self-checkout.

They always have good specials and are very attentive
