As far as I can tell, they have the best selection in San Diego and a staff that was incredibly helpful. Bob takes care of the scheduling and I take my rugs there and they deliver them home, clean and colors bright. They also have beautiful rugs to buy there as well. I bought a large area rug from Rug Expo a few years ago. The buying experience was very nice since they let me take home multiple rugs to figure out which one would go best with the room. They also offer a cleaning service which I rely on since these expensive rugs are best cleaned by professionals. Highly recommend this place.

This is an overdue review of rug expo. They have so many options and the staff is so helpful in finding the perfect rug for your home. They also offer cleaning for your rugs which are specific to each rug so that it stays in mint condition. The incredible staff and beautiful rugs will always bring me back.

If you are looking for a great experience shopping for a rug, Rug Expo meets all criteria: helpful and pleasant staff, incredible selection, and extremely knowledgeable owners always ready to help . No one tried to convince us to buy anything that wasnt exactly what we wanted. We found the perfect rug color-wise but the size was wrong: rectangle not round. The owner had a cut-out made and spent some time helping us rotate it to the exact section of pattern we wanted. It was done in about a week and is beautiful! See picture. Daisy loves it too!Going today to pickup my 2nd rug. After two years, they recognized us as soon as we walked in--and remembered the rug we originally bought. Again we could not find the right coloring in a round rug and again we were able to pick the exact spot on the rectangular rug and have it cut and finished in the size we need. Cant complain about the pricing---a fair price for an excellent product.If you go tell them Daisy sent you!

I have been bringing my carpets to Rug Expo since I moved to San Diego and had a Persian Rug that needed cleaning. Since then I have always found the staff super helpful and competitively priced with some of the online home big box stores that sell carpets. I like the fact that I can touch and see the carpets and not that I have needed too, but they offered me to take the carpet home and see it in your house to see if I liked it. Thanks guys!

Beautiful selection of rugs and even better customer service. Bijan and Martin were very patient and helpful in pulling down any rug we were interested in getting a better look at. These guys have the best rug selection in the entire state! And their prices are unbeatable. My father used to sell Persian rugs and I’ve grown up with them my whole life, so I know quality and a deal when I see one. I don’t even want to write how much of a discount I got for some of the rugs I picked up last weekend, but it’s to the point where I’m not sure if they even covered the cost of shipping...I am beyond thrilled with my purchase and my experience. The guys at the store were so helpful in finding the exact designs I wanted for each room.A good rug is more important than your couch in my opinion. You won’t know how impactful it can be until you lay it down on your own floor.

Amazing cleaning service!I came here the 2nd time to clean my rug, since I live in apartment and have dogs, over time my rug will get dirty with all kind of stains. I called on a Saturday morning and they say just WALK-IN and bring the rug in to get the quote for cleaning.I was worried if the price might increased but the staff just quoted me the same price as las time, and I was out of there. It’s that easy!Don’t throw away your rugs, just bring them here for cleaning and they will be bring new again!

Just got an amazing rug! Everyone there was a great help as I was browsing through the selections. They helped move rugs around and placed them for viewing so I could get a better idea of how the rugs looked on the ground and allowed me to take pictures to send to my roommate. If you are looking for a large rug you have to come talk to Ray. So hard to find the right rug online (plus dealing with return shipping), but cant compete with seeing/feeling them in person. They can also take their larger machine woven rugs and trim/sew the edge to make it smaller if needed. We did that to reduce a 15x12 and it looks fantastic, really high quality!

The owner, Ray, is an absolute gem! He was so helpful, genuinely kind, and leads a team of employees that made every interaction from start to finish a pleasure. Not at all pushy. He doesn’t need to be, his shop draws lots of happy customers. One older gentleman, in line before me was purchasing his 6th rug from Rug Expo.Also, they have options for every range of color, texture and price point! I’ll be back.

Well when youre redoing your floors and need area rugs galore, you shop around A LOT.The selection is amazing and they have a range of price points (we left with six rugs and will be back for more). But whats really wonderful besides the selection are the employees. Ben, more specifically. He was very kind and not pushy at all. Would never buy a rug online (or anywhere else) after buying a rug at Rug Expo. SO many different rugs to pick from, different textures and styles. Lily was extremely helpful - we were looking for a large natural fiber rug (safe for baby) and they had a large selection. They even offered to have us take the rug home to make sure it was a fit! Customer service was second to none- do yourself a favor and buy a rug here!

Bought a rug last weekend from Lily. She was really kind and helped us through the process of buying a rug. We pretty much already knew what we wanted so we were in and out within 10-15 minutes. While looking for an area rug we decided to head down Miramar to see rugs in person instead of thumbnails on a website. While they have a lot of stock, it felt like they were randomly finding rugs to show us. When trying to leave they brought out the big guns and followed me to the car asking what they could do to get a sale. It was a high pressure situation when all I wanted was something as simple as a rug and would not recommend going here if youre comfortable shopping online.

We own 12 oriental rugs, 9 of them purchased over the past several years from Rug Palace/Rug Expo. Our rugs are 5-100 years old from Iran, Turkey, and India. Rug Expo can tell you in detail the origin of every rug in every size, style, weave method, dye method, and quality. From what I have learned about rugs at home and abroad, I can attest to Rug Expos fine quality and extremely good prices! Rug Expo also mends and cleans like no other, and graciously repairs inferior workmanship of nonprofessional competitors. Highly recommended!
