2002 KLR 650, (daily rider)- Tom was nothing but helpful. He has great knowledge of motorcycles and was able to not only get my bike back on the road quickly but also pointed out additional issues I had not noticed before. I will definitely bring my bike back for regular maintenance! When you visit the shop you can tell that everyone who works there is willing to help. Additionally, there is a small store in the front with multiple items for riders like helmets, jackets, filters, tires, chains and such.

I needed the battery replaced on my jet ski. The first shop I called gave me an appointment 2 weeks out charging $180. DWS did it right away for $120. In addition to to replacing the battery, they made sure everything was fine with the jet ski. Very nice peopleI highly recommend them

I only contacted them by phone theyre very professional ask them about getting some type of air filter other than the OEM parts for a better price he told me there is a k&n replacement, that would save me money and Id be able to clean it.

DWS Powersports is the only place I bring my bikes. Tom and Sandy are always friendly, always fair, and really easy to work with. I brought my newer motorcycle by the check in on work for my older motorcycle and Tom came right out the see it and do a quick complimentary inspection. The rear brakes are getting kinda low. Prices are good and the work has always been solid.

Great work and great people. The job ended up being a little more than originally expected, but they called to get approval for the additional work before going ahead. They were pretty busy so try to give them as much heads up as possible.

I was really impressed with Toms honesty, knowledge and professionalism. Instead of charging almost $200 to put on a brand new chain, Tom offered cleaning and adjustment for only $27. Now my bike rides smoothly like new. Tom even went above and beyond with inspecting the vehicle, readjusting tires pressure, cleaning the bike and took it on a test ride (for no charges). At the end of the service Tom offered some valuable tips on vehicle maintenance. This is the type of family owned business that operated on honesty and professionalism. I strongly recommend DWS Powersports to all San Diego riders.

Tom and Sandy are great! Been going there for 4 years. I would recommend DWS to everybody, Tom is honest and always does a great job. He worked through many electrical issues with my Triumph and recently replaced a blown engine on my Yamaha looks like brand new every wire in its place and even cleaned up the bike.

Cant say enough good things about DWS Powersports. Tom is a great mechanic and super nice guy, but most of all it is so refreshing to find a small family business that is always fair and reasonably priced. Tom & Sandy make a great team and really care about customer service. I truly feel that bringing my dirt bikes for service at DWS is like bringing it to family that you can trust.

Amazing service, most knowledgeable mechanic I have ever met. He was able to diagnose a fractured inner hub before actually tearing all the way into it. Now that is fixed I wont destroy my new clutch. They fast, reliable, friendly and their prices are very fair and comparable. I would absolutely recommend DWS Powersports for any motorcycle repairs. DWS did a better job with my 07 KTM 525 better than any shop with KTM in their name.

My boyfriend brought his Triumph here in November and I went with him. We had it towed in on a Sunday and they were there to accommodate us. The couple which runs the place and works there are absolutely amazing. They are friendly, easy to understand, very transparent and helpful. You leave feeling good. Im not an expert in bikes, but my boyfriend didnt complain and the bill seemed less than I thought it would be. We just dropped off another Triumph we own, so I guess he definitely likes the place. Again they were very friendly and more than helpful. On customer service and knowledge base alone, I highly recommend.

Ive hopped around to a lot of the motorcycle shops around SD, dws is easily my number 1. Tom and Sandy are very welcoming and understanding. I cant recommend this place enough, they are awesome.

I took my motorcycle into another mechanic for front and rear brakes. (I did not know about DWS Powersports) at that time) The other mechanic shop really screwed up my back brake on my Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic. The mechanic did not tighten the bolts holding the rear caliper to the frame and the brake assembly fell off the rear disc while I was driving the bike. It also ruined my back tire. I found DWS on Craigslist. I took the motorcycle to Tom at DWS Powersports. Tom replaced the tire and pulled the whole rear brake assembly apart and reassembled everything correctly then test drove the motorcycle. This was such a bad situation as I only had a front brake. Tom did an EXCELLENT job. While I was there, Tom also checked the front brake to make sure it was working properly! They have truly earned my trust and a new customer. Thank you Tom!

The owner Tom, has helped us immensely with our Yamaha waverunner xl800. Our ski had an issue with the carburetors which was fixed by Tom (the owner) for a very reasonable price. Not only did he do a great job, but he gave us a boat-load of knowledge for future repairs and tuning the carburetors. Definitely worth your time and money.

Sandy and Tom are always available to answer your questions, they dont push unnecessary repairs or services on you. Tom knows what he is doing and does it very well. i cant say enough good things about the service i received from DWS! I have taken two bikes to them, one was involved in an accident and after Tom worked on it you couldnt even tell that there had been any damage at all. The second bike was just for a check up, Tom found a small leak and fixed it at no extra cost! Plus his hourly rate is very competitive.I will be using DWS for all of my motorcycle needs/repairs.

Tom has taken care of me and always does a great job. He takes the time to discuss the causes, options, and general things to look out for on various models. I am a more educated consumer as a result of bringing my bike to DWS.He is also an experienced track rider, and brings the perspective of years of high performance riding.Although I am a motorcycle rider, I must note that he is an expert on waverunners/jetskis as evidenced by the number of units coming through his shop and the advice he has given me on a future purchase that I am considering.
