John was fantastic, he made extra efforts to find my just expired account and found out exactly what my last purchase was so I could get the exact same shoe and size. He also got me a great price and answered my numerous questions with helpful answers.I called earlier in the week and was told my account was closed and there was no record of what I bought before. So I was very impressed with John finding the info (and discount) that he did! Because of him I will be going back to Road Runner and will make sure to get John!And I loved the shoes - Brooks.

Had a new pair of shoes that I purchased a couple of weeks ago. After wearing them, they just didn’t feel right. So I went back to the store and we decided a 1/2 size would be a better fit. It was an easy process even though I had worn the shoes before. I’m now a member. Keep up the great customer service.

Best customer service. Road Runner Sports is always my go-to for my family’s running shoes, but my recent experience was fantastic. I went in for 1 pair of custom insoles, and ended up walking out with 2. And a new pair of sneakers!I took my son in for new custom insoles and Angel, specifically, went above and beyond, taking the time to find out what my son needed, educate me on his foot scan results, and walk me through the different custom insole options. His customer service was so spot on that I decided to ask him for help with new running shoes for me. He was knowledgeable and helpful; explaining the distinctions between different sneakers and made a recommendation based on my needs.It was a great experience!

My wife and I stopped in for a pair of new running shoes each. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman that did an analysis of our arches and then molded the insoles via the super high tech machinery.Ultimately we were handed off to Angel for shoe selection. The two gentlemen referred us each to a couple of different pairs of shoes. We were not convinced these were the shoes we wanted so we each tried on a few other pairs.In the end, I walked out in the original pair suggested by the Roadrunner team (and also another pair). My wife also left happy with a new pair; a brand she’d never bought before.New shoes are great, but when they’re the right shoes for your feet- it makes a huge difference.What a great experience. The service was great. I bought hiking boots and realized that within a short time of wearing them, I needed a larger size. The transaction went smoothly.

I got there right after they opened for the day and It was busy. Angel was the person who worked with me. He set my expectations because he was helping a lot of customers at once. Each time he checked in or got me help he was clear about next steps and when he would be back. He followed up, never forgot about me, and was patient. I got fitted for inserts and got a pair of sneakers that work for me. It was a good solid experience.Wish they had more clothing and Altra shoe options.

Got lots of pets. My monkey owners bought paw pad covers so they can take me on more walks. Floor was slippery but cool on paws. Overall a good time.

The staff seems pretty knowledgeable. It’s a great store if you’re serious about running and that perfect fit. They typically scan your feet and walk which is fine but it just seems like a process that is quickly pushed through. They also push a lot of “extra” stuff on you including memberships etc…

Wow this was the most amazing shoe experience I’ve ever had. They had every shoe in store to try on that I was curious about (besides the Nike Ultraboost 19!) and amazing technology in store to find out more more about your feet! I discovered I was a size larger than what i’vebeen wearing for years. John was amazing help, friendly and guided me to find exactly what me and my feet needed. He is a plethora of knowledge! I ended up buying the Adidas Solar boost but my next pair will be the Brooks Hyperion Tempo. Highly recommend this location and Road Runner Sports overall!

Pros: good shoe variety and somewhat knowledgeable salespeople.Cons: very confusing “membership” model, points, pricing, cash back, trial membership. Plus I came home and the same shoes I bought in the store were $20 cheaper on roadrunner’s own website. Why?!

I have been to Road Runners several times. Every time I am so impressed with the knowledge of the staff. They really understand how feet work in athletic settings - particularly running. The patient staff has helped me try on countless shoes to get just the right fit. I think the experience of being in store and trying on running shoes is the BEST way to go.

Absolutely love going to this store. They are helpful whether you’re buying something or not. They consult you on your gate, have excellent digital tools to evaluate your feet/stance, and educate you on differing shoe types which are best for your unique feet. He picked 3 shoes and the first one was the right one. Having knowledgeable staff makes the shopping experience an efficient and enjoyable one. I will come back for my next pair.

As a triathlete with a scoliosis that affects my feet they help me making sure I get the appropriate shoes and inserts. Worked great and no pain in my knees or ankle. Both my partner (long distance runner) and my daughter went and great experience too.

I’ve never had a bad experience shopping here and their return/exchange policy is one of the best in the business. They’ve always been more than helpful and even when just past my 90 day exchange period they still worked with me to get the right pair of shoes.

I came in almost at closing time on 3/6. Chris, the lead helped me. I purchased a pair of gray Hoka Bondi 7’s in October 2020. I never once wore them. Then came a new color of that shoe that I really liked. Chris had to look up my purchase because I lost my receipt and found that I had purchased the shoes in October 2020, which was way over the 90 day limit to return or exchange. Chris told me that he would have to consult the manager to see if he would make an exception. A couple of minutes later Chris came back and told me that “since you are a member we will make an exception in your case. Go ahead and talk to one of the associates and he’ll help you get the replacement shoe”. Although it was store policy to not exchange or return after 90 days I appreciate their going the extra mile & going out of their way to do it. THIS folks is customer service! This is why I will keep coming back to this store even though I live across the bay. Thank you!
