Holland has deep expertise on the cars they service -- ive had them do major engine reconstruction surgery and they execute flawlessly, with no surprises. They communicate about any changes to plan immediately, and are very clear about options. I appreciate their transparency, and allowing me to make the ultimate decision when it comes time to decide what repairs to pursue.You may find a cheaper option out there but you will not find a higher quality experience that can be trusted, especially in the case of an older vehicle that you want to see run many more miles, as in my case. Cant say enough good things about the team at Holland in San Carlos.

You want someone that is stable, in business a long time (repeat customers only happen when you do a fair job at a fair price). I would never take my car to a dealer after warranty. We have a 2014 Mini and the ABS fluid was low. They checked the brakes and topped off the fluid. They are always super helpful, will loan a car if needed, given COVID and follow up rapidly. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve been taking our Benz & Bimmer here since we moved to San Mateo. The customer service is phenomenal, significantly better than any dealership. I’m a female and they are NOT condescending when talking to me. They are honest and straightforward with servicing your car. My car is an older model and some of the major replacements have come up. Shawn and team have been great at prioritizing the key repairs so it’s not so financially overwhelming at one time.The shop is organized and clean. Service is punctual and friendly. When I bring my car here I feel I’m leaving it with a knowledgeable and thoughtful team of professionals.

We bring both of our cars here (Mercedes and Audi). They always do a great job and are very thorough and careful. There are probably cheaper places, but we trust these guys and they have proven themselves over and over. I also never worry that theyre selling us something we dont need. There have been a number of times that theyve told us that we dont need things that we thought we did. Highly recommend.

Holland Car Care is the go to repair shop I use for my Mercedes E350. They always take the time to thoroughly go through my cars systems to make sure they are working properly. The best part is there is no upselling on services I don’t need ( always hated the dealership for that). The service advisors are knowledgeable,professional and keep me posted on my car so I know when it’s done so I’m not waiting around. The prices are completely reasonable for my MBZ (cuz German cars can be expensive)Technician are master tech’s and that’s a major plus in my book. A+++ in my opinion

Holland Car Care does a great job with my car, and Ive been going to them for years. The do a good job of explaining whats nice to do vs. needs to do. I trust their recommendations and they are always transparent about costs and what to expect.

The front of shop team continue to just be incredibly professional and trustworthy. The are punctual, extremely knowledgeable, and constantly working to make the entire auto repair experience transparent and trustworthy. After growing up with my Dad managing a major brand repair shop, this shop and their people are truly live the Quality is Job #1 ethos.

Everything was taken care of, and I never interacted with a person.I trust that the quality is first rate as it has been in the past. I left my car the evening before, and it was finished before I was fully awake the next day. Sean, manager, is always very pleasant and professional.

I prefer to turn my own wrenches, but when I cant, I bring my Mini Clubman here. They are always professional and courteous. I particularly appreciate their willingness to share their wisdom when I have mechanical questions. I was astonished the first time I saw how clean they keep their shop area. Thats a very good sign.Additionally, the waiting area is great, the coffee is good, and they dont mind at all when my dog tags along.Today, I had a commitment and had to be out of there quickly. They got my maintenance done almost an hour early, and they had even given my mud-caked Mini a quick bath.These folks are great. Pay a few bucks more and get competent, quality service. Do it. Your quirky German car will thank you.

Always a positive experience here. Transmission went on my Mercedes,Shaun worked to find the best deal for me, and I did have one other quote, so I know his deal was a good one. It is nice to have a rental car when my car is in the shop too, every little bit helps. Everyone is kind, thorough in explaining what needs to be done, and very customer orientated.

Holland Car Care has to be the very best in the business!!!! I took my car in thinking my transmission had gone out expecting to pay a huge repair bill. After all was said and done, the problem was caused by repair work that I had done a few months ago by someone else on my radiator. They were so incredibly honest, gave me a loaner car and went to battle for me to get some money back from the other shop. I cant say enough good things about them, Louie Martinez was the most thoughtful and caring person, kept me in the loop every step of the way and was fantastic. They are my go to from this day forward and I will be referring all my friends and co-workers to them. Great job and THANK YOU Louie for all your help and honesty, youre the best :-)

This place is super expensive. Oil change costs $110 but they did give me free Lyft rides. The free estimates for all other repairs were very expensive. The staff is however courteous.

I have been taking my BMWs to holland car care for over 10+ years. Sean and Mark are super knowledgeable about European cars and will only recommend the needful fixes. No over selling or any scare tactics that you encounter at most dealerships. The price is on par but they stand behind their work and I have never had occasion to be dissatisfied.Their new location at San Carlos is really nice with free WiFi and an espresso machine.They say that finding a trusted car mechanic is second only to finding a great family doctor. I have found mine at Holland car care.
